Corps assessing 15 sites for 'alternate care facilities' to house Michigan hospital overflow

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is assessing at least 15 sites — including athletic centers, dormitories, convention centers and hotels — to serve as backups to Michigan hospitals that might hit capacity due to an influx of coronavirus patients.

The Detroit District is working under FEMA but at the direction of the state to assess a list of potential alternate care facilities that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s office has prepared, said Lynn Rose, a spokeswoman for the Corps’ Detroit District.

“We’re working with the state and the local communities and whoever owns or operates the facilities as well,” Rose said. “We know that this is a dire need for the community and we are here to make sure that something gets done quickly.”

The corps had assessed seven sites so far, Rose said, and had planned to assess another eight on Friday.

The corps posted photos on its Facebook page of the various areas they’re assessing, including the TCF Center, the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center and two Wayne State University dormitories in Detroit.

This comes as confirmed cases rose to 1,075 among Detroiters on Friday, among the hardest-hit areas of the state.

The corps effort is part of two FEMA Mission Assignments totaling $5.6 million to “provide initial planning and engineering support nationwide to address possible medical facility shortages," according to information posted to the district's website.

Once the corps has assessed the various sites, Whitmer will decide on which ones meet the state’s needs, Rose said. It's not yet clear whether the Corps would be used to retrofit the facilities or whether the state would utilize its own resources to do so.

The state on Wednesday informed hospitals that it would take action to shift patients from overburdened southeast Michigan hospitals to out-state facilities and explore the possibility of alternate sites for patients, such as convention centers and hotels.

Health system leaders in southeast Michigan in recent days have expressed concerns about the surge in coronavirus cases and the stress it's put on resources. But they have also said it will be difficult to shift lab resources, medical equipment and personnel to any sort of field hospital.

Whitmer on Wednesday said she was informed the construction of an alternate facility could take three weeks to complete but she hoped to expedite the process.

Rose expressed a similar hope but said there is no timeline for when construction would start.

“We’re going as quickly as we possibly can,” she said. “We’ve got a lot of people who are pushed out there to do these things.”

As we all know, no one is going to subscribe and pay to read an article when they can just watch youtube or your media news source of choice.

The only one who attempted to cover the tale of the missing SARs was Rachel Maddow, of whom continues to be stunning in her abilities to take the besmirching her profession to levels, unprecedented in paid speech.

She cited the tolled New York Times article as her source, a second hand source, without mentioning the missing SARs from the U.S. Treasury Financial Crimes Network, that was put out in a DOJ press release, that I published, pushing the jejune plot of the "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) over there at Deutsche Bank of employees being so scared of Trump that they would rather risk being charged with treason than to report treason?

That is treason.

But that reminded me of those missing SARs that someone over there at Buzzfeed had leaked to them as being intentionally removed from FinCEN, in the name of Michael Cohen, who they reported the wrong Michael Cohen.

Michael Cohen was that Och Ziff financial management guy over the Children's Trust Funds.

Then there was the Buzzfeed issue of someone else, like Cernovich, getting classified documents and leaking them to Buzzfeed.

Anyway, that ends the tale of Deutsche Bank trying to implement another one of those schemes concocted by the "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) to cover up its money laundering activities, I would most definitely call treason.

Unfortunately, Sullivan ordered the "original redacted 302" to be published  into the historic record to corrupt the annals of history.

Interestingly enough that the 302 was written months after the interview, if I dare say, a violation of FBI protocol of the 48 hour window.

Pay attention to the legal.

This is research methodology at its finest.

You must disprove the null hypothesis that Russia colluded to get Trump elected purported by Hillary Clinton, DNC, MSM and social media.

Yup.

Mueller dug and dug, and yet, could not find any Russian collusion buried bones between Trump and Russia to get elected.

Yup.

Mueller found stuff, alright, but referred it out to CIGIE and the Districts FBI & Offices of U.S. Attorneys.

Yup.

Then, those Districts FBI & Offices of U.S. Attorneys mixed Mueller's stuff with their stuff, and voila, a transposable model for due process cocktail!

Yup.

That means Mueller has failed...to disprove the null that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2018 election, by which the investigation was based in pure, unadulterated logic, that is.

In the same breath, this also means that....dare I say.....Mueller has found.....

I bet he was referring all that election interference stuff over to the DOJ Civil Rights Division because there were lots of wishes of death, violence, insurrection, you know, your typical intimidation stuff which strips the rights of a civil society found all up on social media and your main stream news organizations, led by the pied piper Grampa Corsi.

I bet Mueller was also referring stuff to be procedurally directed to the White House on all that other international election interference stuff.

Heck, I bet Mueller was referring all that election interference stuff through all those administrative structures Sessions went in and cleaned up with bleach, of course, because it was really stinky.

In this finding, Mueller has just established legal grounds for treason....by the people who said that the Russians did it, but what the people who said that the Russians did it do not know is that the Celestial Goddess of the Woodshed had not only, previously disproved all the nulls, but she had the data to back it up...with pretty pics, too!

I get such  a tickle when watching House Judiciary question the gatekeepers of the internet questions on its search engine algorithms and control of the data when it comes to censorship.

I remember sitting in the first Google hearing, in absolute awe that they actually spoke, quite openly, mind you, of reverse algorithms in searches.

Some Member's staffers actually developed good questions, some just left their Member look like a bumbling fool.

That is mean and a reflection of incompetence.

Google is an equal opportunity censorship organization because they suppress my searches.

Gaetz seemed to have an issue with Google suppressing conservative speech.

Allow me to bring him up to speed.

Google suppressed me, so that argument gets defenestrated.

Most of that "conservative speech" is funded propaganda talking points by foreign, online operations, like that of Granpa Corsi, my affectionate name for the conservative online celebrity, Dr. Jerome Corsi, who made his fortune spinning yarns by the Youtube fireplace about how Obama has a fake birth certificate and, at one point, told the world he was "Q".
