John Lewis Is Extracted From Humanity

John Lewis and John Conyers, Jr.
I knew John Lewis.

He threatened me if I was ever to leave my Sweetie.

It was cute, but he never showed up for the Ghetto Ass Funeral, nor did he reach out to me, nor did he ever stand up to advocate due process for my Sweetie when he knew the truth.

The War Crimes Testimony Of Karen Bass

Karen Bass lies into the public record.

Since Karen Bass wants to claim the legacy of the Congressional Black Caucus as its principle, then she should be the one to tell the world about what they do on their servers, when it comes to trafficking tiny humans through Foster Care and Adoption.

Karen Bass was mean to my Sweetie.

A Special Message To The FBI - My Cyber Perp Walk Better Be Glorious

Documenting for the record.

I assist a severely mentally ill older male who was contacted via email to apply for a loan for his Michigan August 2020 peacefest business that he has not filed any paperwork for an LLC, INC, NGO or even has a name for his grandiose multimillion dollar operation of whatever he has conjured up in his very special world, with his friends John Lennon and Thomas Jefferson, tow very close friends he talks to on a regular basis.

Yes, Michigan is still socially shuttered, but he and friends, John and Tom, are unable to grasp this concept.

So, he lets me know, all of this today, as I type, out of excitement to finally prove me wrong, because I am always spot on predicting the outcome of all his previous business ventures, he sends me a pic of the check, which arrived FedEx, this afternoon, for $1,000 more than what he originally requested, just because, I guess, he is such a great business leader, or something.

The amount is $3,920.00.

The name of the lender..... First Tech Federal Credit Union.

https://www.firsttechfed.com/

He is not, nor ever has been a federal employee.

It seems this federal credit union got his contact information off an old Craig's List add from a few years ago.

He has no State of Michigan identification because it expired many years ago as he has a strong aversion to soap and water.

I am not able to call and curse him out so as not to cash the check because the phone signal is down.

Once he cashes the check, they will have access to his account, which will lead them right back to me.

This is the work of Cynthia Martin and her rogue ass crew trying to set me up for some kind of criminal action.

Watch, I am going to be arrested for some dumb crap, and it better be dramatic.

Mark my words, I want a glorious spectacle of a cyber perp walk.

Perhaps, these people were trying to find a way of depositing my back pay they stole from me, but, hey, what do I know?

I will post copy of the check once the internet is back on track.

The Tale Of The Congressional Black Caucus, USCCB, Wilmington Trust, TARP & Detroit Land Bank Authority Gerrymandering Election Interference

Oh my, Auntie Maxie is injecting her minions into the financial sector to cover up her TARP stealin' the children, land & vote.

It seems the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation uses the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops as one of its stealin' vehicles.

The Congressional Black Caucus seems to use Wilmington Trust, because the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops uses Wilmington Trust, too, when it comes to foreign washing of assets operations, particularly when it comes to setting up new databases to do more asset forfeiture operations.

This is a bank of the Congressional Black Caucus.

This is another secret bank of the Congressional Black Caucus.

It also seems, since Wilmington Bank is a Dow/DuPont Bank, that Bill *Smooches* Schuette had sizeable contributions funneled into his Michigan fake ass gubernatorial campaign through Melanie Sloan's old hustle, called CREW.

Yes, the same exact Melanie Sloan who has been psychologically scarred for life because she said my Sweetie sexually harassed her, but have no fear, for she is going to stand by my side, with all her girlfriends, in that female solidarity, as I have survived this harrowing journey of existence in ending Medicaid Fraud in Child Welfare and reporting all the gerrymandering TARP operations, by supporting me in 3...2...

Can I get a #MeToo?

Probably not, because they all hate my guts, right Melanie?

Do me a favor, would you, deary, and tell Lisa I said, #MeToo, too.

Congressional Black Caucus Foundation invests $5 million in black-owned banks
Members of the Congressional Black Caucus petitioned the government to aid minority banks during the financial crisis. Fourteen black-owned banks received funding from the Troubled Asset Relief Program, said Michael Grant, president of the National Bankers Association, a trade group for minority banks.
Have no fear, for the Congressional Black Caucus staffers have come up with another one of those absolutely brilliant clout flexers on K Street for the "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) to make sure they have a solid strategy for not getting disbarred by impeding justice.

Yes, that is correct, try getting an attorney when you are attempting to file false claims actions, when the attorneys, themselves, are the ones facilitating the transactions of the K Street financial fraud schemes and they know the FBI as well as other intelligence agencies are all up in their mix!

Prescreen Legal Clients
https://prescreenlegalclient.com/
Prescreen your legal clients. Protect yourself against problem and predatory clients. Attorney discipline and disbarment cases are on the rise throughout the United States, so prescreening your clients is more important than ever. Use our service to be prudent and proactive before accepting that retainer!

"It only takes one bad client to ruin your career and your life."

That would be me!

Or should I say, "#MeToo"?

But I have no money, ergo, no justice.

If you have not figured out why I am so bitter, is because Wilmington Trust was a creditor in the fake ass Detroit Bankruptcy, which makes them all co-conspirators in the coup to take my Sweetie out of office.

And that ends another tale of stealin' the children, land & vote.

Former Congressional Black Caucus staffers flex clout on K Street

The financial services industry is turning to former top staffers from the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) for lobbying talent, a trend reflecting the growing power of the CBC and the increased scrutiny the industry is facing under the Democratic House.

A number of former chiefs of staff to black lawmakers have been recruited to K Street this year. The moves come when  the Black Caucus is at a record membership and with some of its senior members, including House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), putting financial institutions in their crosshairs.

“Financial Services holds a particular distinction for CBC-centered leadership because it [the financial industry] was one of the last industries to desegregate. And its power, in terms of providing access to capital, and its power to deny capital, has had a disproportionate, and at times harmful, impact on black communities for centuries,” a former congressional aide told The Hill. “These are serious matters, politically and policy-wise, that CBC chiefs consistently advise members on.”

Now, those staffers are in demand on K Street as the financial industry faces tougher oversight from Democratic lawmakers.

Among the prominent staffers who have made the jump to K Street this year are Ernie Jolly, a onetime deputy chief to Rep. Greg Meeks (D-N.Y.), now at the Mortgage Bankers Association, and John Jones, former chief of staff to Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), who went to Nareit, the industry group for real estate investment trusts.

Minh Ta, ex-chief of staff to Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.), joined the Carlyle Group, and Fabrice Coles, former executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus, is at the Bank Policy Institute. Cedric Grant, former chief of staff to Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), who is now the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, is at Subject Matter after a stint lobbying for H&R Block.

For K Street, tapping those with CBC ties is an important step to court House leaders, particularly on banking matters.

The CBC’s influence extends beyond Waters on the Financial Services Committee. Five of the six Financial Services subcommittees are headed by Black Caucus members, including Reps. Meeks, Cleaver, Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio), Al Green (D-Texas) and Wm. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.).

James Ballentine, executive vice president of congressional relations and political affairs for the American Bankers Association, said black lawmakers have been attracted to the panel historically because of its oversight on housing issues. Now, lawmakers see it is an important perch to address a host of economic issues.

“The committee has such a wide swath of issues that cover the full array of financial products, services and regulatory oversight. It has become a very attractive committee if you are interested in banking and economic growth,” said Ballentine.

For the banking industry, 2019 has been a tough year, with the Democratic House pushing on a number of progressive priorities including stronger consumer protections, addressing wage inequality and bolstering affordable housing.

The House Financial Services Committee under Waters has taken a tougher stance on Wall Street’s top executives, with the chairwoman and panel grilling them personally at a hearing earlier this year on their compensation and efforts to diversify.

That increased oversight has brought anxiety to business groups, but also new opportunity to ex-CBC staffers.

“This is a relationship-driven time so you will continue to see a trend of CBC members, particularly on House Financial Services, get opportunities downtown as a result of the need to find a way to have a line of sight of how does Maxine Waters, how do progressives, think about the financial services sector,” another former staffer told The Hill.

The Financial Services Committee also added the Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion this Congress, which is chaired by Beatty, raising new, tough questions on those issues.

“Large insurance companies are going to be asked about the policies they sold covering slaves in the U.S. and large banks are being asked about how they accepted black bodies as business collateral,” the former aide said. “Rest assured, they are going to be asked about the lack of senior-level diversity in the financial sector.”

There has also been pressure on K Street to improve diversity in its firms and business associations.

Those who spoke to The Hill welcomed the new ranks of black executives on K Street, even as they cautioned that the influence world should be careful about hiring minority lobbyists only to lobby minority lawmakers.

“When you look at the CBC former staffers and chiefs who have left, they’re brilliant individuals. They’re coming into these firms bringing a lot more value than just being an African American lobbyist,” the former staffer said.

Ssssshhhhh... whatever you do, do not tell anyone those Chiefs of Staff are leaving because they know we have the CBC servers....sssshhhh....it is a secret.

There are “opportunities for former CBC chiefs and staffers who are now downtown to have some impact in what happens and ... translating that for companies and clients,” said Jerome Murray, former chief to Del. Stacy Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands), now at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. “But it’s also ensuring that companies are not looking at former CBC chiefs to only do that.”

Michael Williams, founder of the Williams Group, added that companies are realizing they need to do better in hiring diverse talent.

“The natural inclination is to go and figure out where is the talent pool and can they, in fact, get people who are going to be good from a policy perspective but also have the connections within the Congress, and not just in the CBC,” he told The Hill.

But Williams noted that hiring these former CBC aides does not mean they are just checking a box.

“They’re not saying we should target CBC chiefs because Maxine Waters is a chair, that doesn’t really fly. It’s not going to be helpful to them from a financial services perspective,” Williams continued. “But, if you target them because they happen to specialize in this area and they have great connections on the committee and within the financial services industry, it’s just a bonus that they’re CBC chiefs.”

The top law and lobbying firms have also been tapping CBC staffers for their teams.

In addition to Murray at Brownstein, Virgil Miller, former chief of staff to Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.), made the jump to Akin Gump.

For CBC staffers-turned-lobbyists, the challenge is how to use their clout to promote their clients’ interests and navigate House Democrats’ priorities.

“Financial services is important just in general because you’re talking about the U.S. economy,” said Ta, of the Carlyle Group. “CBC members have always been concerned that their constituents, not just black constituents, get a fair economy.”....and to make dat money because they are pushing hard for TARP 5.0 called reparations.

‘Africans Are Not Children’: Democrats Face Backlash From Black Voices Over Political Stunt

WASHINGTON, DC - JUNE 08:
Democrats faced intense backlash on Monday over a political stunt that they pulled in an attempt to show solidarity with the black community over death of George Floyd.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY), and other top Democrats took at knee at Capitol Hill while wearing Kente cloth, which, as noted by The Washington Post, “comes from Ghana, where people wear it to show patriotism or celebrate a special occasion.”

The photo-op moment for Democrats quickly went viral online — but not in a good way, as numerous people from the black community mocked and criticized Democrats for their political stunt.

Army combat veteran Jeffrey A Dove Jr., a Republican running in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, responded: “Does wearing kente cloth and taking a knee mean you are all of a sudden ‘down with the struggle’? This is why people hate disingenuous politicians. Speaker Pelosi was there for the 94 crime bill. She is part of the problem.”

Washington Post Global Opinions Editor Karen Attiah responded: “I look at this and think, who is the audience for this performance? Why was this necessary?”

Pro-life advocate Obianuju Ekeocha released a video on Twitter condemning the Democrats for “ignorantly using the Kente fabric as a prop in their virtue signaling.”

“I was just looking online today like most of you and what did I see? A bunch of Democrat politicians kneeling down, of which I have nothing to say about that because I am not an American, however, they were all having around their necks this colorful fabric which I’m sure they put around their necks as some kind of mark or show of unity or solidarity with black people,” Ekeocha said. “So, in other words, they put in for the Kente material or this colorful fabric they had around their necks as some kind of placating sign or symbol to show that they are not racist and they are together with black people.”

“Excuse me, dear Democrats, in your tokenism, you didn’t wait to find out that this thing that you’re hanging around your neck is not just some African uniform, it’s actually the Kente material,” Ekeocha continued. “The Kente belongs to the Ghanaian people, mainly the Ashanti Tribe. Excuse me, Democrats. Don’t treat Africans like we’re children. These fabrics and these colorful things that we have within our culture and tradition, they all mean something to us. I know you look at us and you say, ‘oh Africans are so cute in all your colorful dresses.’”

“Well, some of those dresses and patterns and colors and fabrics actually do mean something to us,” Ekeocha added. “Some of them belong to ancient tribes and mean something to them. So why are you using it your own show of non-racism or your own show of virtue? Why are you using the Kente material to signal your virtue? Stop it. We are not children. Africans are not children. And leave our tradition and our culture to us and if you don’t know much about it, ask somebody. I’m sure there would have been something else you could have done to show your solidarity with black people instead of taking the Kente material and making a little show of it.”

“I know we are in unexpected times and anything is possible but listen man I did not have ‘Pelosi in Kente cloth’ on the bingo card,” GEN editor Hanif Abdurraqib wrote. “I was so certain that picture wasn’t real at first that I didn’t even bother to look for proof in either direction. I just mumbled ‘damn people on here are getting real good at photoshop’ and kept moving along.”

Left-wing writer Roxane Gay wrote: “I am not sure what’s funnier, those ridiculous politicians wearing kente cloth or Cory Booker smartly opting out of that absurd performance.”

Another commentator wrote: “I’m Black and I don’t even own that thing on their necks that supposedly represents Blackness. Also, I hate how Democrats always pretend that they have never had a chance to fix USA when they’ve been in government too.”

Maxine Waters says her sister died from coronavirus

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) recently confirmed that her sister died after contracting the coronavirus.

In an interview with the website theGrio on Thursday, Waters said that the experience of losing her sister during a pandemic was one of the hardest experiences of her life.

Waters had previously told colleagues in an emotional House floor speech in late April that one of her family members was dying in a hospital in St. Louis.

“It is one of the most painful things that I’ve ever had to experience in my life,” Waters told theGrio. “She had suffered. And so we are going through a very difficult time. It was not easy, but in many ways, I’m so glad she’s out of pain.”

Waters did not say which sibling had died. The congresswoman was born in St. Louis as the fifth of 13 children, according to her congressional bio.

Waters said in the interview that her sister had been living in an assisted living home for elderly St. Louis residents, and warned that such facilities can cause the virus to spread rapidly.

“The nursing home is the only place we have for many of our seniors, many of whom have outlived their families,” she said. “That’s where they go. And now these nursing homes are like a petri dish for the continued development of this virus that is killing us.”

Will Judiciary Democrats Subpoena The Congressional Black Caucus & NAACP In The Roger Stone Case?

Chaos, the breakfast of "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending).

EXCLUSIVE: Roger Stone's spiritual adviser says embattled political operative has 'turned to God'

Randy Lancaster-Short is Roger Stone's long time spiritual advisor and is not a fan of the Congressional Black Caucus or the NAACP.

So, riddle me this, if Judiciary Democrats are launching a probe into Roger Stone, will they bring in Randy Lancastser-Short, too?

I bet Randy has many tales to tell.

Dems launch Justice probe, seek Stone-related interviews

"It was not supposed to be like this."
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House Judiciary Committee is launching a wide-ranging probe of Attorney General William Barr and the Justice Department, demanding briefings, documents and interviews with 15 officials as it tries to determine whether there has been improper political interference in federal law enforcement.

Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., on Friday sent Barr a letter listing a series of matters that the committee finds “deeply troubling,” including Barr’s involvement in the case of President Donald Trump's longtime confidant Roger Stone.

Stone was convicted in November of lying to Congress and other charges. Barr overruled prosecutors who had recommended that Stone be sentenced to seven to nine years in prison, leading the four top prosecutors on the case to step down from it.

Nadler also is questioning Barr about his involvement in other cases related to friends and associates of Trump and about internal investigations into department employees who investigated Trump after the 2016 election.

“Although you serve at the President’s pleasure, you are also charged with the impartial administration of our laws,” Nadler wrote to Barr. “In turn, the House Judiciary Committee is charged with holding you to that responsibility.”

The committee is asking for briefings on the issues listed and interviews with 15 Justice Department officials involved in those matters, including the four prosecutors who resigned from the Stone case.

It is unclear whether the department, which declined to comment on Nadler's letter, will cooperate with any part of the probe. Trump has vowed to block “all” of the subpoenas from Democrats and refused to cooperate with their impeachment inquiry last year. Still, despite his declarations, many administration officials came forward during the impeachment probe once faced with subpoenas.

Barr has already agreed to testify before the committee on March 31. It will be the first time he has appeared before the panel since he became attorney general a year ago, and the meeting is sure to be contentious. Since Barr was sworn in, House Democrats have questioned whether he was too close to Trump, criticized his handling of former special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia report and impeached Trump for his pressure on Ukraine to investigate Democrats. The Senate acquitted Trump this month.

In the letter, Nadler asked for a broad swath of documents related to the committee's concerns, including communications between Trump and the Justice Department. The committee is unlikely to get any of those documents, as a president’s personal conversations are generally considered privileged by the courts.

The sharpened look at Barr’s activities comes as many Democrats have been wary of prolonging the Ukraine inquiry that led to Trump’s impeachment. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff have put off — but not ruled out — a subpoena for former national security adviser John Bolton, who refused to participate in the House impeachment inquiry but later said he would testify in the Senate trial. The Senate voted not to call witnesses, but Bolton is writing a book that could detail his involvement in the Ukraine matter.

Just after the Senate voted to acquit Trump, Barr faced blowback over his decision to overrule the prosecutors in the Stone case. Trump congratulated Barr shortly afterward.

Stone was convicted of lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstructing the House investigation into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to tip the 2016 election. He was sentenced last week to more than three years in prison.

Barr appeared to try to deflect some of the rising criticism over Stone, saying in an interview with ABC News that Trump’s tweets about Justice Department prosecutors and cases “make it impossible for me to do my job.”

But Barr also said the decision to undo the sentencing recommendation was made before Trump tweeted about it, and he said Trump had not asked him to intervene in any cases.

Happy Black History Month: Help Me Exonerate Andrea Shea King From Being Implicated In A Plausible "Death Wish" Conspiracy Of John Conyers

I only recently found this post on my Public Facebook Page on the Death of John Conyers, Jr.

On October 20, 2019, the great Andrea Shea-King left the following message of condolences on my page in wake of the news of the death of my Sweetie:

Image may contain: 1 person
https://twitter.com/RadioPatriot
John Conyers now as dead as the district he once represented
First up, Congressman John Conyers has died at the age of 90.
Aside from being the longest-serving black Congressman and being a typical crackpot leftist eager to undermine our foreign policy abroad and sow discord at home, his career highlights include corruption and ethics violations involving him and his wife as well as sexual harassment and abuse charges that ultimately led to his resignation in late 2017.
Like virtually all long-serving elected officials that represent inner cities, they leave their constituencies in utter shambles and their bank accounts flush with cash.
Well, fresh off Elijah Cummings' joining of the Choir Invisible, at least we have another Wellstone-like Nuremberg Rally for the Left to bash Trump and America to endure. -- JJ Sefton, The MORnING REPORT

On January 24, 2020, Investigative Journalist, George Webb, launched Andrea's ascent to become a Superstar in the annals of history.

But, when I found out that Andrea wished death upon my Sweetie, years prior, just like Nolan Finley, in specification of a hanging, I felt it only proper to document her legacy.

She has quite the fanbase, too.
WorldNetDaily commentator and fringe radio host Andrea Shea King wants to punish elected officials who plan to skip Benjamin Netanyahu’s controversial address to the U.S. Congress tomorrow…by putting them to death.

King said on her radio program last month that such officials shouldn’t just “pay with their jobs” but should also “pay with their lives.”  "hanging from a noose right in front of the U.S. Capitol Building."

“I would like to think that these guys could pay with their lives, hanging from a noose in front of the U.S. Capitol Building,” she said. “What they are doing is they are putting their own interests above that of America, and to me that is criminal.”

King specifically suggested hanging members of the Congressional Black Caucus, saying “their districts are all dumb clucks because these dumb clucks wouldn’t be electing these people if they knew better.”
I shall assume that I am a dumb cluck, that is until Andrea is exonerated from being implicated in a plausible death wish conspiracy of my Sweetie, with an opportunity to bear witness.
“How do people like this get to represent us in Congress?” she asked. “Because there are stupid people out there in those congressional districts who are so ignorant it’s dangerous…. Stupid, stupid people. Our lives are on the line and all they can think of is skin color. All of us will turn black if we end up in a cage on fire.”

We should also ask Andrea to tell us everything she knows about Detroit, as she seems to be a subject matter expert on how and why the Bankruptcy came to happen.

I bet Andrea knows about the Detroit Land Bank Authority, too.

We must definitely ask her that.

FOX 2 Detroit Reports The Death Of John Conyers, Jr.

Former Congressman John Conyers passes away

DETROIT - Detroit Police have confirmed that former Congressman John Conyers passed away in his home Sunday. He was 90.

For more than 50-years, the Highland Park native proudly served as a member of the US House of Representatives.

Conyers began serving his county back in 1948, first with the Michigan National Guard then with the US Army.

In 1963, Conyers focused his attention on the Civil Rights Movement, taking part in the voter's registration drive in Selma Alabama.

Detroit Police have confirmed that former Congressman John Conyers passed away in his home Sunday. He was 90.

"I've been in the civil rights movement, before I was in the political movement," Conyers said.

One year later, his tenure in the US Congress began. Conyers defeated Republican Robert Blackwell with 84% of the vote.

In the middle of Conyers' second term, Detroit was at a breaking point. Riots broke out in the Summer of 1967 after words spread of excessive force by police against African Americans.

The crowds grew larger and Conyers said he took to the streets, with hopes of directing the people's rage into a more positive direction.

He continued to make a name for himself in the Civil Rights Movement. He is responsible for introducing the bill that would make Martin Luther King's birthday a national holiday.

At the end of his tenure, Conyers served 53-years in office making him the longest serving African American in congressional history.

Elijah Cummings Has Left Congress Forever

Much love, Elijah.

US Rep. Elijah Cummings has died from complications of longtime health challenges, his office said in a statement

BALTIMORE (AP) — Maryland Rep. Elijah E. Cummings died early Thursday at Johns Hopkins Hospital due to complications from longstanding health challenges, his congressional office said. He was 68.

A sharecropper's son, Cummings became the powerful chairman of a U.S. House committee that investigated President Donald Trump, and was a formidable orator who passionately advocated for the poor in his black-majority district, which encompasses a large portion of Baltimore as well as more well-to-do suburbs.

As chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, Cummings led multiple investigations of the president's governmental dealings, including probes in 2019 relating to the president's family members serving in the White House.

Trump responded by criticizing the Democrat's district as a "rodent-infested mess" where "no human being would want to live." The comments came weeks after Trump drew bipartisan condemnation following his calls for Democratic congresswomen of color to get out of the U.S. "right now," and go back to their "broken and crime-infested countries."

Cummings replied that government officials must stop making "hateful, incendiary comments" that only serve to divide and distract the nation from its real problems, including mass shootings and white supremacy.

"Those in the highest levels of the government must stop invoking fear, using racist language and encouraging reprehensible behavior," Cummings said in a speech at the National Press Club.

Cummings' long career spanned decades in Maryland politics. He rose through the ranks of the Maryland House of Delegates before winning his congressional seat in a special election in 1996 to replace former Rep. Kweisi Mfume, who left the seat to lead the NAACP.

Cummings continued his rise in Congress. In 2016, he was the senior Democrat on the House Benghazi Committee, which he said was "nothing more than a taxpayer-funded effort to bring harm to Hillary Clinton's campaign" for president.

Cummings was an early supporter of Barack Obama's presidential bid in 2008.

Buttigieg Got Hit With A Michigan Graduate Studies Field Operation

Everyone knows that these are just graduate studies coming out of universities.

Duh.

I bet someone submitted a white paper to some journal or think tank with lots of pretty colored pictures with numbers to validate another reason to solicit more funding for more studies.

They do it all the time.

Just look at the Congressional Black Caucus Institute.
Lansing — A Michigan college student says Republican operatives pushed him to make false sexual assault claims against Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg and then “spewed a bunch of hateful accusations” using his name.

One of the GOP operatives is publicly denying the alleged fabrication scheme. But the young man’s family is calling him a victim in the convoluted plot to tarnish the reputation of Buttigieg, the gay and married mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Hunter Kelly, a 21-year-old student at Ferris State University in Big Rapids who describes himself as a gay Republican, issued a Tuesday morning statement attributing a since-deleted accusation posted in his name on the Medium blog site to GOP lobbyist Jack Burkman and conservative social media personality Jacob Wohl.

“I have never met or spoken with Buttigieg, I have never been a victim of sexual assault, but more importantly I am not a liar,” Kelly said in a statement.

Two Michigan women Kelly said are his aunts also vouched for him on Facebook, with one claiming he had been "violated" by the operatives and used as a “pawn in your smearing campaign.” The News left voicemails and messages with both women.

Kelly’s two-page statement appears consistent with a story first reported by The Daily Beast. The news site on Monday linked the anti-Buttigieg claims to Wohl and Burkman, citing audio recordings made by a separate Republican source who said the duo had approached him to participate in a similar scheme.

Burkman, a Washington lobbyist and attorney, said Monday night on Twitter that Kelly had signed a statement attesting to his accusation and “was in full control of all public disclosures,” including a picture he said Kelly sent to Medium support to confirm his identity.

"The mainstream media “bullied him & his family into submission,” Burkman claimed. He stood by his account Tuesday morning.

Student: Buttigieg claims false

But Kelly told a different story in a series of Facebook comments and a lengthy statement, saying Wohl and Burkman booked him on a Sunday night flight from Grand Rapids to the Washington, D.C., area “to discuss political situations from the standpoint of a gay Republican.”

“I thought this was going to be a couple days of talking facts and seeing what LEGITIMATE dirt we could get on Peter Buttigieg,” Kelly said in the statement. “Nothing that they alleged is true about Buttigieg.”

Asked about the unfounded accuations, the Buttigieg campaign referred to comments the candidate made Monday.

“I'm sure it's not the first time somebody is going to make something up about me,” Buttigieg told reporters. “It's not going to throw us. Politics can be ugly sometimes but you have to face that when you're in presidential politics.”

In his statement, Kelly said he had been interacting with Wohl on Instagram for roughly a month and they had their first direction conversation on April 25 through the encrypted “Signal” application.

After the Republican operatives flew him into the D.C. area, Kelly said they took a cab to Burkman’s home in Arlington, Virginia, where they arrived at 2 a.m. and began talking politics.

Wohl showed him a “draft” version of the article posted to Medium accusing Buttigieg of sexual assault, according to Kelly. But he was unsure about the plan and, after going to bed at 4 a.m., used the Signal app to tell Wohl he was “incredibly uncomfortable and not on board.”

Kelly claims he woke up on Monday morning to see the Medium post had already published. Wohl had also created a fake Twitter account and gmail account “and who knows what else” in his name, Kelly said.

“Reading the story made me sick to my stomach and I expressed my thoughts with my family who were incredibly opposed to this and said they would alert media outlets that this was a lie,” Kelly said.

But after a lengthy meeting over a Subway sandwich lunch with Wohl and Burkman at Burkman's house, where he was told leaving “was not an option,” Kelly said he “reluctantly” signed a script that he was told had no legal standing but was “supposed to say in a press conference.”

Kelly said he and his family “basically planned my escape” from Burkman’s home later Monday. While his family near Washington D.C. drove over, he pretended to be tired and nap while he packed his bags, he said. When they arrived, he rushed downstairs and “told Wohl I could not do this because that is not the type of person I am.”

Burkman denies claims

Burkman on Tuesday denied taking part in the alleged scheme to fabricate the sexual assault story against Buttigieg, who has been rising in recent polls of the Democratic presidential primary field.
Burkman said his firm “was approached by a young man who had a disturbing” story about Buttigieg. “We began working with him on sharing his painful story” and noted the signed statement, which Kelly said he reluctantly signed amid pressure from the Republican operatives.

“While we’re disappointed by his reaction today, I can’t imagine the stress he’s currently under. This is a difficult subject for anyone to face and unfortunately, as an attorney, there’s only so much I can do,” Burkman said in a statement. “We wish him the best moving forward.”

Burkman did not address other claims in the story by The Daily Beast, which reported that he and Wohl used fake names when discussing a similar scheme with a separate Republican source.
The News was unable to contact Wohl, a conservative social media personality with whom Burkman has worked in the past.

On Monday evening, TownHall.com Political Editor Guy Benson tweeted that "two young, gay, right-leaning men I know have contacted me to say they were also approached by Wohl to participate in this appalling attempted smear of @PeteButtigieg." Benson didn't identify the men.

Wohl and Burkman teamed up in February to offer $15,000 for “credible information” that could lead to the resignation of embattled Democratic Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax amid sexual assault allegations.

Danielle Brosch-Skrzypczak of Michigan, whom Kelly identified as his aunt, called her nephew a “very dedicated, hard working” college student who was “violated” by the GOP operatives.

“My nephew never made these allegations,” she wrote on Facebook. “He was advocating for those of a different lifestyle. He is a gay republican. Did you not target him because of his sexual orientation, and then turn around and victimize him through using his sexual orientation?”

Jody Higgins, who Kelly confirmed is his aunt, said her nephew has received death threats after he was “used in the sex scam/ploy to file false claims” against Buttigieg.

“Seriously what is wrong with people!” Higgins wrote on Facebook. "Unbelievable!"

Here Are The Largest Congressional Payments The House Has Admitted

A House of Representatives fund paid $1 million to secretly settle complaints by staffers. Here are the largest.

U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings in Miami Gardens, Florida in August 2011. REUTERS/Joe SkipperThe House has disclosed settling 41 complaints of workplace mistreatment for a total of some $1 million since 1997. The list published by the House does not include names, but The Daily Caller News Foundation used court documents to reveal the offices behind some settlements and then cross-referenced with news articles to rank them. The list also omits the largest settlement the settlement office ever handled, involving Rep. Alcee Hastings.

TheDCNF’s analysis found that a seldom-mentioned settlement involving the office of Rep. Gregory Meeks appears to be one of the largest settlements in decades while also involving some of the most serious allegations — including not just sexual harassment, but firing a staffer who said she was physically sexually assaulted by someone connected to a campaign donor.

The data is entirely based on Office of Compliance (OOC) payouts, and so omits some of the most notable settlements, such as one by Rep. John Conyers. The omission is because the Committee on House Administration disclosed only payments that came out of the OOC’s special settlement fund, whereas numerous members hid settlements in their office budgets. TheDCNF analysis of the list of OOC settlements found that much of the $1 million comes from a handful of large settlements, while others are for only a few thousand dollars.

1) $220,000: Alcee Hastings (D-FL), alleged sexual harassment, 2014
The Office of Compliance mysteriously omitted the largest settlement it ever handled from its list of settlements with member-led offices, likely because it involved a commission. The settlement, however, involved an accusation against Rep. Hastings by an employee of the Helsinki Commission, a member-led body of Congress chaired at the time by Hastings. The staffer alleged that he repeatedly invited her up to his hotel room when they were traveling, asked what type of underwear she was wearing, and made other inappropriate gestures. Hastings denied the charges and said he did not even know that Congress settled on his behalf. The size of the settlement seemingly suggests that authorities may have viewed the evidence as particularly damning or were highly motivated to make it go away. The amount is 88 times larger than another settlement for sex discrimination and retaliation and 25 times larger than the median settlement involving sex or gender. Hastings’ office did not return a request for comment.

2) $150,000: Benghazi Committee, alleged veteran status discrimination & retaliation, 2016
Benghazi Committee investigator Bradley Podliska filed a lawsuit alleging his bosses were unhappy the Air Force reservist had to leave to perform military service. He also said he had been unfairly pressured to focus on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He later withdrew that claim. Then-committee Chairman Trey Gowdy said in 2015 that Podliska was fired for mishandling classified info; Podliska said that was untrue and defamatory, Fox News reported. He was reinstated to his job after 16 months, and TheDCNF has learned the payment was calculated as back pay based on his salary.

3) $85,000: Eric Massa (D-NY), alleged sexual harassment & retaliation, 2010
Massa resigned after being accused of tickling and groping male staffers.

4) $84,000: Blake Farenthold (R-TX), alleged sexual harassment, 2014
A staffer alleged that Farenthold would talk about his “sexual fantasies” and “wet dreams” about his spokeswoman. Farenthold denied some of the allegations, but acknowledged that he “allowed a workplace culture to take root in my office that was too permissive and decidedly unprofessional,” and that he had “angry outbursts” and didn’t always “treat people with the respect they deserved.” Farenthold has said he will reimburse taxpayers.

5) $65,000: John J. Duncan Jr. (R-TN), alleged age discrimination, 2011
Duncan’s office terminated Shirley Taylor on her 66th birthday after colleagues mocked her for her age and Duncan “expressed his displeasure” about another employee working into her 80s, according to a lawsuit. Bob Griffitts, the chief of staff, told Duncan that the staffer had Alzheimer’s disease, which was not true, it says. The chief of staff told Taylor she was forgetful, but when Taylor asked him for examples, Griffitts said he couldn’t remember any, according to the suit. Taylor alleged age discrimination, but Duncan said he’d leave the decision to his chief of staff, the lawsuit says. Duncan’s office did not return a request for comment.

6) $50,000: unknown office, alleged disability discrimination & retaliation, 2008-2012
This settlement remains a mystery. A staffer to Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee sued her in 2011 for allegedly discriminating against her based on a disability during this time period (“I don’t give a damn about her disability,” she said, according to the lawsuit). However, that court case dragged on to 2015, and nothing indicates it was settled. Therefore, it does not appear to be this case. Jackson Lee has been called an abusive employer on Capitol Hill and had the highest turnover in her office, according to a 2013 analysis. Spokesman Mike McQuerry would not tell TheDCNF if she had ever settled with any employees.

7) $40,000: Gregory Meeks (D-NY), overtime & retaliation, 2006
The list does not name the member, but this is the only settlement fitting the description of the Meeks case in the relevant time period, and Meeks spokesman Jordan Morris did not deny that it is the same settlement.

Andrea Payne, a former Meeks staffer, filed a lawsuit “to recover for damages sustained by plaintiff when Representative Meeks violated her Constitutional rights by retaliating against her, and ultimately terminating her employment, because of her sexual assault lawsuit,” attorneys wrote. Payne underwent physical therapy at a medical office owned by the spouse of Joan Flowers, a Meeks donor and political operative who at one point served as treasurer of Meeks’ campaign. She said she was physically assaulted there, and she pursued criminal and civil charges.

Flowers “came to Representative Meeks’ office in an agitated state,” and Meeks said “when he received complaints from one of his campaign contributors he must treat the matter very seriously” and told Payne he was not going to pay her for overtime work she had performed, the lawsuit says. Meeks fired her and denied her unemployment insurance by saying she’d left voluntarily.

Meeks later said in a deposition that she was fired for writing a letter to the Federal Election Commission flagging improprieties in his campaign finances. But according to the lawsuit, that letter wasn’t written until after she was fired, and Meeks’ own wife contradicted his testimony on that point.

Statement from CBC Chairman on Meeting with Conyers

WASHINGTON – Today, the Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), Congressman Cedric L. Richmond (D-LA-02), released the following statement after his meeting with Congressman John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI-13) about the sexual harassment allegations against the most senior member of Congress and his recent decision to resign as ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee:

“Today I met with John and we had a very candid conversation about the seriousness of the allegations against him, which he vehemently denies.

I told him that I agreed with his decision to step down as ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee at this time.

I also told him that I encourage and expect him to fully cooperate with the ethics investigation.

He said he would.

“Any decision to resign from office before the ethics investigation is complete is John’s decision to make."

“The Congressional Black Caucus calls on Congress to treat all members who have been accused of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other crimes with parity, and we call on Congress and the public to afford members with due process as these very serious allegations are investigated.”

The CBC supports mandatory sexual harassment training for members and staff, as well as proposed changes to the sexual harassment complaint process in Congress. On Monday, November 20, the CBC held a sexual harassment training for CBC chiefs of staff and will hold the same training for CBC members this week.
