The world has been moved by the horrific death of George "The Landlord" Floyd, that the movement of Black Lives Matter has inorganically manifested, in precision and glory, to sing in unison, a cry for justice for all african-americans, except for John Conyers, Jr.
I guess my sea salt sprinkled caramel Sweetie was not *black* enough for his life or legacy to matter, when it comes to justice, considering he is recognized as Chairman Emeritus of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee and the only candidate endorsed by Martin Luther King, Jr.
It just goes to show you, not all lives matter because all he got was a Ghetto Ass Funeral.
The Black Lives Matter movement is currently being infiltrated by the real voices of all people.
Maureen Taylor has been calling out stealin' for as long as there have been victims of stealin' - "The Poors" (always said with clinched teeth).

Maureen has been bleachbitted from the annals of cyber annals of history, but I preserved her legacy.
Maureen Taylor has spent her life advocating and fighting for the rights of the poor. Her passion put her in the national spotlight when she took on WDIV-TV reporter Hank Winchester during an MSNBC interview about the Detroit water shutoff crisis. Many saw her actions as heroic.
“It was true Maureen,” said local activist and community organizer Mike Shane of Moratorium Now! a grass-roots organization working to prevent mortgage foreclosures and utility shutoffs. “(The news segment and Taylor’s comments) gave the issue more prominence, which it needed.”
Shane said the interview illustrated Taylor’s determination and willingness to “go to the mat for poor and working people. She’s a good advocate for people.”
As state chair of the Michigan Welfare Rights Organization, Taylor works nonstop from her office on the fourth floor of downtown Detroit’s Central United Methodist Church to help struggling individuals and families negotiate with Metro Detroit agencies. Many of those she helps are people who are working mainly in low-paying jobs that don’t cover most of their basic bills.
The state chair of the Michigan Welfare Rights Organization and a 2015 Michiganian of the Year, Maureen Taylor talks about what inspired her to become a "change agent."
For 30 years, Taylor has been a voice for the voiceless. She began her career on the front lines of protest marches and rallies to protect welfare benefits for residents during Gov. John Engler’s administration. Most recently she led efforts to prevent the state from tossing 41,000 people off the state’s welfare rolls, and last year she conducted protests over the water shutoffs in Detroit.
Taylor, who attributes many of the city’s problems to a sluggish economy that is starting to rebound, said she always wanted to be a “change agent.”
“I need to be able to make a change,” said Taylor. “I have to do something.”
Her passion for the poor began at a young age. Reared in an economically comfortable home in Detroit, a 12-year-old Taylor was struck by the abject poverty she saw during a cross-country trip with her family to Disneyland in California. Young children, most of whom were under the age of 10, were selling turquoise on the side of the road or picking vegetables.
“This question about social justice meant something to me. I thought ‘there’s something wrong,’ ” Taylor said. “I knew it and I saw it.”
A trained social worker with a master’s degree in social work, Taylor also studied at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.
“At the Union Theological Seminary, the coursework was around the fundamental components of why poverty exists. It stressed the relationship between welfare assistance and employment as a bridge between the two contradictory yet dependent polls,” she said. “I learned the history of poverty, the theory of ‘surplus value’ as a component of the existing system, and what role it played in the structure of the American economy. I am a poverty scholar.”
Taylor has been praised for working with corporations, such as DTE, to implement programs to assist the area’s poor. As a result, DTE now provides a representative at Taylor’s office to help individuals and families come up with more affordable utility payments to avoid shutoffs.
Rodney Cole, DTE’s manager of regional relations for Wayne County, said Taylor has been instrumental in helping the utility company assist customers in need.
“She has the history and context with this city,” Cole said. “I have appreciated her ability and willingness to partner (with DTE ).”
Taylor says she doesn’t let those who show up at the Michigan Welfare Rights office leave without some solution to their problems.
“I try to find ways (to help),” Taylor said. “Clients don’t leave here or my desk until there is a plan to alleviate whatever is wrong.”

David Koch, billionaire conservative activist and philanthropist, has died.
He was 79.
He and his brother, Charles, co-owned Koch Industries, a Nebraska-based energy and chemical company, since 1983. David stepped down from running the Koch organization last year due to declining health.
The Koch brothers helped to build a massive conservative network of donors for organizations that work to mobilize voters and sway elected officials in support of libertarian-leaning economic policies.

I want to preface my remarks regarding today’s hearing, which deals with community policing policies, by observing that our Nation’s conscience continues to be rocked by a series of tragic events involving law enforcement and the loss of too many black lives.
In our court rooms, in our streets and on our televisions, we confront a never ending body count. Earlier this summer, my Congressional colleagues and I staged an unprecedented sit-in – just to try to get a vote on common sense gun legislation.
In this Committee, Chairman Goodlatte and I formed a bipartisan Policing Strategies Working group to begin examining how we can best ensure that Congress takes responsibility for the conversation about race and policing in America. I believe this working group is one of the finest examples of how we can come together at a time when the nation needs leadership to reduce the levels of violence in our communities.
And, just this past week, I joined my Congressional Black Caucus colleagues in protest of yet another series of senseless killings of black men and black children by police in Cleveland, Tulsa, and Charlotte.
When you add to this volatile mix the attacks on police officers in Baton Rouge and Dallas, the nation risks being forced into a battle of whose lives matter most.
We mourn the loss of all of these lives and want to see an end to this violence across the United States, including in the iconic American City of New Orleans.
To achieve this, first, we need to ensure police accountability, prevent violent attacks on law enforcement, and improve the relationship between police officers and the communities they are sworn to protect and serve.
Community trust policies are integral to smart law enforcement for diverse communities, including those with immigration populations like New Orleans and my district in Michigan.
Second, studies show that crime rates actually decrease after localities adopt community trust policies. Further, these studies find that strong-arm policies – such as Secure Communities – fail to lower crime rates.
Instead, they can make communities less safebecause residents become more fearful and therefore less likely to report criminal activity or cooperate with investigations.
We share the common goal of community safety. To suggest that local leaders and law enforcement officials are purposefully pursuing policies that make their communities less safe is simply false and offensive.
Finally, if we are looking for real solutions, we should be undertaking comprehensive immigration reform.
Unfortunately, this hearing, which pejoratively refers to New Orleans’ community trust policy as a “sanctuary city” policy, is not about comprehensive immigration reform; it is about anti-immigrant politics and fear mongering.
An immigration reform bill – such as the measure that passed the Senate in 2013 or the legislation that had 201 House cosponsors in the last Congress – would allow law-abiding immigrants to come out of the shadows and get right with the law. And, it would enable Immigration and Customs Enforcement to focus its resources on deporting the worst criminal elements.
That kind of solution would help ensure that the City of New Orleans and all communities, citizens and immigrants alike, as well as the brave men and women serving in law enforcement, are protected from harm.
In closing, I thank the Chairman and I look forward to hearing from our witnesses.

While you were sleeping, or probably out in the streets enjoying the fashionable public protests of being part of the Black Lives Matters movement, all because you are just now finding out about what goes on in the lives of people, daily, for the last, oh hum, 400 years, you missed the latest move in stripping rights.
First it was your parental rights, then it was voting rights, next came property (land, water, air, economic) rights, now it is intellectual property rights.
When police use body cams, who shall be the keeper of the record and will there be copyright infringement of public use in the midst of a criminal proceeding.
I could generate a bunch of different plausible scenarios for you to sit around your campfire, sharing your stories of "inner city grit" sipping on a Starbucks chai latte at your next scheduled BLM protest on your i-Phone, or I can just let you know that this is another one of those "day-late-and-dollar-short" situations for "The Elected Ones" to ignore.
