SystemSuckology: Understanding Child Abuse Propaganda Month - Part 2: Sitting Around The Campfire Telling Child Abuse Stories

In the first installment of this series, we discussed the use of National Child Abuse Awareness Month as an excuse to hold a fundraiser.  While I believe this to be the true reason of this month long celebration,  I think it is important to build upon this concept and discuss how they actually sucker these people into giving their money or getting involved.  In order to do this, I have created a list of the most common elements of the hundreds of news stories that will be published  this month, devoted to this Awareness subject, and will continue to add to this list all month long as new elements pop up.  In creating this list, I was able to formulate a kind of arm chair behavioral profile of the typical system suck.  So I will begin this segment with the following question: 

What is a System Suck?

The simple answer to this question is this:  A system suck is one who profits in one way or another from, or makes their living from the legal kidnapping of your children.   There are two types, although both types can be present in one person.  One does it for the money, the other does it to make themselves feel important.  A sort of self gratification.

The more complex answer is one who sells their soul to the child protective industry for money or for self gratification purposes.  In that, these people are very devoted to their cause.  In fact, I think that many of them actually believe the lies that they preach, with the problem being that very few base their beliefs or understandings of the issues on truth or facts.  Most are sold on a line of bullshit, buy it hook line and sinker and loudly preach that which is totally blown out of proportion, skewed to the horrific, and reinforces the one size fit's all nature of the Child Abuse and Neglect labels. 

There are two ways that they do this.  The first is through the presentation of the wrong statistical data, including preaching the number of calls to the child abuse hotline or the number of reports that were investigated last year, while failing to tell you that most of these calls or investigated reports did not result in confirmed findings of abuse or neglect, and failing to report how many cases actually were confirmed.  This is a form of misdirection, lies by omission, whatever you want to call it.

The other thing that they don't tell you is that every case is different in both intent and severity.  For example, the mom who slaps her teenager in the face for telling her to go and f*** herself would be included on the same list where a sicko beat a newborn to within an inch of their life because he/she wouldn't stop crying.  So this is by no means an accurate portrayal of the child abuse issue.   But it does create a sense of urgency in the normal people, who believe that thousands upon thousands of kids in their community are severely abused by monsters among us.

 Last year, the Tennessee Department of Children’s Servicesinvestigated more than 60,000 reports of child abuse and neglect.  - Notice there is no mention of how many of these 60,000 investigated reports had confirmed cases, thus including the innocent in their lies.

Ropersays last year alone, there were 64,000 calls made to SRS to report abuse andneglect, with little more than 10,000 coming from the Wichita and SedgwickCounty area.

"But the alarming trend continues across the country, she says costing society nearly $104 billion a year for health and mental health services and correctional activities."  - and even more when you take into account Child Abuse Propaganda Month fundraising activities.

This tends to make the problem appear worse than it actually is.  Then again the smaller numbers don't provide as much of an impact.

The second way that they blow things out of proportion is with the gut wrenching horror story, detailing some horrific case of sickening child abuse, triggering some emotional response in or painting a picture in the uneducated mind of the normal human of some extremely rare and severe abuse case, that simply pops into their heads whenever they hear the words. 

Now I'm not saying that these things don't happen, just that they like to present the most extreme cases, thus leading the normal person to think that all cases are as extreme.

In fact, the deeper I dig into this particular topic, the more convinced I am that truest System Sucks are emotion junkies who love sitting around the campfire telling child abuse stories.   I can attest to this further based on my experience in a couple of these anti child abuse Facebook groups, where they share and discuss news stories, all testifying publically to what they would do if that was their kid or what they would like to see done to the parents. 

Both of these examples, however only tell a part of the story,  I'm only stating this now for the sake of explanation, as it will be further explored later, but...  The battle against child abuse has become an epic battle of good against evil.  We can't have a good child abuse story without the tales mighty heroes who ride in on their shiny high horses, preaching all their self-righteous glory to get involved and help save the children!

Now to be fair, I will state that a few journalists who write theses articles that I am researching on the topic of Child Abuse Prevention Month, do prefer to use the correct information, but they really are few and far between.  Most do not.  Most are going for the gut reaction as this is how they're going to capture your attention, warm your heart, play the sympathy card and make you feel important as if you're doing more for kids than lining the pockets of the professional system sucks.

April is known by the Child Protective Industry as National Child Abuse Prevention Month.  According to them, it's a month designated to raising awareness about the problem of child abuse, and educating the public on ways to prevent child abuse and promote strong healthy families.

This particular month also tends to be my busiest time of year.   My news-reader fills up with this crap.  In fact, I would guestimate a 150% increase in the number of pro-CPS articles over any other month, except November which is National Adoption month and a whole different sales pitch. 

In years past, I would skim through a few, delete most as to the uneducated mind, they seemed all the same and are enough to make you vomit.  Then a couple years ago I noticed a trend where they were using the wrong set of data as a symbolic visual representation of the number of  children who were abused or neglected, for example, the number of pinwheels planted in the ground equaling the number of calls to the child abuse hotline, which appears to trick the public into believing that the problem of child abuse is worse than it actually is, when in fact approximately85% of such cases remain unsubstantiated or do not even rise to the level wherean investigation is warranted.

This year, upon taking a closer look at these articles, collecting about 100 so far, and reading through the first 25 this morning, I came to realize that the System Sucks will base the number of pinwheels on practically anything.  In Tennessee, for example...

And why pinwheels?

So I thought: The word symbol here is interesting to me.  If the blue pinwheel is supposed to represent child abuse awareness, then using visual that also represents a happy, carefree childhood is somewhat disturbing.   Then basing it on the number of babies being born in the state in hopes for a happy childhood for all, which would certainly put a lot of these agencies out of business, is a deception that must be stated.   Then again the actions and views of the system sucks have often proven to be concerning if not confusing.  But then as similar patterns began to emerge, I stumbled onto another interesting detail.

So I thought, hmm… There is a method behind the madness.  As there seems to be money involved.  This pattern emerged more and more.  The deeper I looked into it.  In fact, out of the 25 articles that I read, 13 of them specifically mentioned some fundraising activities.  The pinwheels are apparently going for between $1.00 and $10.00 dollars a piece, and all the proceeds go to some agency or nonprofit organization which deals with abused or neglected children.

Then I came to notice that these fundraising activities of these agencies didn't stop with selling pinwheels, and that many agencies are getting in on this interesting little funding stream.  One of the most well known, which seems to be very active in fundraising during this time of year is CASA, otherwise known as the Court Appointed Special Advocates.  In fact, the number of CASA related articles has jumped significantly over the last week, according to my newsreader, and they're coming up with a few creative ways of their own to cash in on Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Of course, it wouldn't be fair to pick on CASA alone as the soul agency using Child Abuse Propaganda month as an excuse to hold a fundraiser.  Nor is there any lack of creativity or work put into such fundraisers, I mean awareness campaigns, as it appears that practically any agency that deals works with CPS is able to cash in.  And a few of these events are quite sophisticated in their organization.

In West Virginia, there is going to be a walk-a-thon against child abuse, which last year raised $14,000, and is expanding to include more events this year.  "This year’s walk-a-thon event has been expanded to include a 5-kilometer run and a bike-a-thon for children, starting at Hancock’s Widmeyer Park on April 28. The event’s proceeds will benefit Safe Place, at 24 N. So as you can see, those of you who are out there crying about Medicaid fraud and Title IV funding, we have an interesting little funding stream which has gotten far too little attention.  How much do they rake in?  We many never know as a whole, but I'm sure it's way up there and all of this money is made under the guise of Raising Awareness About Child Abuse.

To conclude this little escalade, I earlier mentioned that similar patterns began to emerge.  And so begins a month long series.  No it won't be a daily thing.  Just a few throughout the month.  But it will enlighten you as to the beliefs and behaviors of the System Sucks.

67 % of Detroit Kids Live In High Poverty Because Of System Sucks

Great work, Maura Corrigan!!!  The other 33% of kids live in medium to low poverty areas of Detroit or are they in foster care?

Before people get on their economic and racist soap box and start proselytizing child abuse propaganda, let me get one thing straight.  You created this.

The period between 2000 and 2008 was a very dark period in Detroit.  It was during this time the groundwork for the state harvesting of children took place, right here in Wayne County.  Child Protective Services had nothing to do with protecting children.  It was all about money.

Child welfare funding is not monitored so people were creating fake reasons to put children in care with fake services.  There was so much fraud, from the administrative realm, in community, educational and social programs that the city began to crumble.  Everyone in Metropolitan Detroit was using the picture of a "poor, abused child" to ask for money.  Lincoln Hall of Justice Judges and Referees. Detroit Police Officers.  Wayne County Commissioners.  Clergy. Educators.  A Mayor and his wife. An Assistant Attorney General who would later on become Governor of Michigan.

The State of Michigan covered it up the billions of dollars of fraud being sucked out of the system of Detroit.

This was the era of fraud.  Everyone was doing it and everyone knew about it. It created jobs and stimulated the economy.  There was banking fraud, campaign fraud, election fraud, federal fraud, tax fraud...foster care and adoption fraud.  The who's who of Detroit had their hand in the cookie jar, from churches to courtrooms, from schools to hospitals, all at the expense of children.

Parents were financially extorted for money to release their child from foster care while they were collecting reimbursements through Medicaid and other Social Security programming to have the kid in foster care in the first place.

Children were being shipped out of state and warehoused in overcrowded cells, not fit for human existence, in an abandoned prison in Texas, courtesy of these political leaders.

Children were being drugged for profit, a Medicaid reimbursed cost.

Children were tortured for the sadistic pleasure called therapy, a Medicaid reimbursed cost.

With the blessing of Michigan Department of Human Services under Marianne Udow and then State Supreme Court Justice Marua Corrigan, everyone covered it up because the institution of poverty was too powerful with too much potential to maximize the revenue of the state to advance their political aspirations.

Maura was once "blue slipped" and thought she was going to sit on SCOTUS.  Udow thought she could make a lateral shift from EDS to state government. They ran public image campaigns.

In honor of the products of the "King Maker" I will be nominating Detroit community leaders and political figures who are System Sucks.

Report: 67% of Detroit kids live in high-poverty areas"

Detroit— More children live in high-poverty neighborhoods in Detroit than in any of the nation's 50 largest cities, according to a new report.

Roughly 67 percent of Detroit children live in a neighborhood with concentrated poverty, according to the "Data Snapshot on High-Poverty Communities" from Kids Count. That's 10 percentage points more than the next worst city, Cleveland, where 57 percent of children live in high-poverty areas.

Michigan ranked 44th among the states for the number of children living in neighborhoods where 30 percent or more of the population is in poverty, defined as about $22,000 per year or less for a family of four.

Kids Count in Michigan Project Director Jane Zehnder-Merrell said children who live in neighborhoods with high concentrations of poverty "struggle more with behavior and emotional problems, they are less likely to graduate and they have reduced potential to be economically successful as adults."

There were 341,000 Michigan children in high-poverty communities in 2010, about 124,000 more than at the start of the decade, or a 57 percent increase.

The report, based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey, found the number of children living in high-poverty neighborhoods nationwide increased from 9 percent to 11 percent over the past decade. About 8 million children across the country live in areas with a high concentration of poverty.

The number of children living in such neighborhoods increased at a faster rate in Michigan than nationwide. Statewide, Michigan's share of children living in high-poverty neighborhoods climbed from 8 percent in 2000 to 14 percent between 2006 and 2010.

I love you all dearly, but if I see one more person put even the slightest ray of hope or faith into Dr Phil after this, I will personally vomit.  He's got his agenda and I'm sure he's paid well to preach the Imperialistic Morality Parade to the stupid who watch him on a regular basis.

Dr Phil, however is a bought and sold system suck who doesn't give a rats ass about you.  This episode of his show, which I'm about to show you, pretty much sums it up.

And with that in mind, I present to you via the miracle of somebody who made it available on YouTube the highly anticipated Dr Phil Parents Falsely Accused show.



Now I watched this show through, via these six clips. The two stories of falsely accused parents are hard hitting. The first one is a clear over-reaction thanks to the idiotic moralistic crap which is forced upon us by others. For example, watch how he gives airtime to the opinions of the self-righteous hypocrites who think that they should have a right to tell us what we can and can't do and how we should raise our own kids.

In my opinion, this mother did nothing wrong. And it's none of your business if you think she did. Get a life people. It was more harmful to take the kids away than anything she did, especially after watching their mother get dragged off in handcuffs just because some asshole had a problem with something she did when they were doing nothing but preforming a random act of kindness by giving to the Salvation Army so that some money that her kids collected would go to those less fortunate.

I do realize that the world is full of stupid ignoramuses like the arresting officer and the regular viewers of the Dr Phil show, and that we should feel sorry for them to a point as their stupidity makes them venerable to being taken advantage of, but I also honestly believe there comes a time when somebody needs to have some common sense bitch slapped into them.  Not only that, but Dr Phil doesn't even ask the question of any of these people, "Who the hell are you to criticize me?"  What makes you so much better based on your unfavorable opinion of anything you think?



The next part goes into the case of a mother who was not only falsely accused but wrongfully convicted of the murder of her daughter. This clearly demonstrates just how badly society is out for blood. I've often believed that as long as somebody pays for the crime guilt or innocence doesn't matter as society is happy and convinced that justice is served because the television told them so. Then again, after my own personal experience, I have little faith in the justice system because that light was YELLOW!

This case is painful, and my heart goes out to the family.



Listen very carefully to the very first thing this woman says in this next clip. She is talking about being convicted in the court of public opinion. Kind of like Casey Anthony, where the lynch mobs who disagree with the court verdict for whatever reason.

I think that an awful lot is said there. It's a problem that any parent who is accused of abuse faces. And it's thanks to those who crave this kind of an emotional fix and feel important when they have something like this to go off on.  The truth doesn't matter, just what they saw on TV.



I am really impressed with her son. The way he talks about his time in the foster care system is priceless.

But watch Dr Phil spin it off into an hour long commercial for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).



"Get involved with CASA and help a kid."  Don't worry about the thousands of kids with CASA Puppets who still manage to fall through the cracks, age out onto the streets with nothing, etc.



The CASA puppet I had to deal with was a total stooge for the agency who flip flopped her position every time she talked to someone different. So I'm really not impressed with some wanna be system suck who is looking for a way to make herself feel good by thinking that she's a hero for helping a kid when she's really so easily manipulated by masterful liars such as CPS Agents and therefore carrying out the orders of the beast without question while believing that she's got the slightest skill of an independent thinker.

Let's find out how Dr Phil really feels.



Tell me those aren't the words of a System Suck.  Do you think the two women in this particular episode of the Dr Phil show would agree with this mentality?  How about the countless parents who can't see their kids for whatever reason when they haven't done anything wrong or those who are sitting in jail for a crime they did not commit?

This show does nothing for the plight of the falsely accused of anything.   It only goes on to glorify the useless by making it look like a solution.

The Victorian Opposition says new figures show nearly a quarter of front-line child protection workers walked away from their jobs last year.

The Opposition says documents released under freedom of information laws show 231 workers left, with more than 40 per cent lasting less than 12 months.

Imagine yourself being a child being ripped from your mothers arms, taken away from all you know and love, made to go live with strangers, not knowing when you are going to see your mother again, and all becasue some idiot made a phone call.

For the sheep, this is a question that comes up often.

"Well so and so did this, should I call child protective services?"

And of course the System Sucks will tell you, "well even if you think it's something little, you should call and let the professionals decide."  In which case you're liable to knock over that first domino in a chain of events that could ultimately destroy a family, or at least bring about some serious legal and financial problems.  But many of you, especially those who are ignorant of the issues or who are on an imperialistic morality trip don't realize that, now do you?

You actually believe that you're helping the child.  You believe that other parents are inadequate, because you were raised to what you believe is a higher standard.

You don't realize that you could bring about a lot of serious problems for a family that may not be entirely necessary.  And for what?  A shot at feeling morally superior?  The belief that you are helping?  Perhaps you think the parent deserves such and such because of whatever reason when in all actuality, YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE.

See, what the sheep don't realize is that the PRESENTATION of the issue regarding child abuse and neglect and the governments solution to the problem, like that which they see on television, MAY NOT BE ENTIRELY ACCURATE.  People believe what they see and since the corporate takeover of 95% of the information sources out there have since brought about control of the flow of information, the System Sucks have been able to paint a picture of a kind and caring system in place to help the poor, innocent victims of abuse and neglect.

It's all bullshit really.  But it works for them.

In modern times, you see, since the introduction of the television, people are shown a controlled presentation of that which they see, thus creating a form of a universal but misrepresented reality.   This is nothing new.  They've known about this little phenomenon of human gullibility since 600 BC, so it is safe to say that there is a universal lack of understanding on the part of the sheep in regards to the harm they could cause by thinking that they're doing the right thing, especially when the child protective industry is portrayed as the saintly child saviors in a world of horrible, parents.

So, if you had the ability to put 2 and 2 together, you would see that the System Sucks are able to create a somewhat universal understanding on the issue of CPS, Child Abuse and all that goes along with it, simply by presenting it in a certain way on television and in the newspapers.

So just how is the issue of the Child Protective Industry usually presented?  Lets see, we have Angels in Adoption Awards,  we have foster parent of the year awards.  We have parents being presented as monsters.  And we have the same people making all kinds of money by providing services to the kids thanks to the government funding and incentives, except they don't like to talk about that.

The people, who really have little reason to believe otherwise, simply fall for a joke.  They think that they're doing the right thing, so they make the call.  Therefore the Child Protective Industry thrives off of universal gullibility, because the people are taught by the mighty teacher that they should report everything, because, "Oh my God, it's only a child," and after all, they just want to help children, right?

So what do you do?  You hear yelling coming from the apartment down the hall, you hear a baby cry, the mother is clearly frustrated.  Does she need the help of Child Protective Services?

Probably not.  But you, in your self-righteous glory feel personally justified in doing so regardless of your lack of knowledge into the issue of what's actually going on or your lack of understanding of family dynamics or the problems that you can cause for families and children.

This is a delima that I'm sure you've all been faced with at some point in your lives.  The decision as to whether or not to call Child Protective Services on some poor, unsuspecting parent.  People give you advice because of the way that you interpret and present the events to them, and by the time they get their information it's been passed on down the line.

It's simply a battle of personal morals vs. your personal responsibility to withhold judgment in absence of fact based on little or no understanding of what's going on except for what you see or hear during a momentary crossing of paths.

So in most cases I would suggest that 'minding your own business' would probably be the best thing to do.  It's just too bad that most people don't have the understanding of the very real harm that they could cause by sticking their nose into where it doesn't belong.
