DEFANGO: The Unmasking Of "Q" Political Propaganda, DOJ, FARA & FinCEN

For those of you just now joining in, there is an online personae that has taken form right before our eyes on the Chan boards that goes by the anonymous identity of "Q".

"Q" came into existence for a brief moment in time at the end of 2017, carrying very positive and inspiring messages of hope, then quickly announced that it would no longer be communicating online.

All of a sudden, through different trip codes, a group of very dark, and nefarious individuals created what is called a Live Action Role Play, (LARP) promoting death, war and hate by promulgating itself as being a confidant of Trump through the manipulation of time stamps, pictures, and just some really ignorantly manufactured information on how our government operates.

I am calling this "Q" an idiot because it actually has no clue to civil rights and has put out such false legal information that I cringe when I see it repeated through social media.

"Q" is a psyop, preying upon the emotional masses who are so desperate for information and justice, but just does not come in the form of hate speech, which strips it of any credibility.

"Q" is mean.  That is not a good thing.

Another reason why "Q" is an idiot is because it has put out fake ass information, that only I would know, which makes me itch, because it claims to have access to congressional classified intel before it is released to the public, which is repugnant to the Separation of Powers Clause, or rather, more intuitively recognized as a demonstration of the manufacturing of propaganda.

The last reason why "Q" is an idiot is because it claims have the ear of Trump, yet goes around leaking this information to the general public, where, in the legal realms is considered espionage or even treason, worthy of criminal investigation, but, since DOJ has not lifted a finger to stop this illegal dissemination of information, it means that it lies, and is just constructing political propaganda.

Constructing political propaganda is not a task one individual does just for fun, which means there is funding involved.

My question is whether this funding is foreign, which means that "Q" has not registered anything through Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which means, "Q" is engaging in espionage, which is the crux of this entire investigation.

I also question whether these funds are properly reported to the U.S. Treasury because in similar fashion to the mysterious identity of "Q", for which I aver is involving dark money.

Looks like a job for my #Superfans!!!

Feel free to contact the U.S. Department of Justice to inquire about "Q" and if it falls under the legal purview of FARA.

Make sure you share your FARA responses!

The video, below, is Defango professing his knowledge on how to learn the process of analysis that may be applied to any other questionable online propaganda campaigns, such as "Q".

There was a lot of things going on. We decide to go over Qanon Proof and found some interesting things. There was another photo posted from what looked like Air Force One. I decided to do some Forensic analysis on the images in real time posted by Q and found it to be Photoshopped clearly. The Apple in the photo is not part of the original images and seems to have been manipulated with the clone tool on photoshop.

Florida AG Pays to Promote Discrimination Policy

In another example of child welfare propaganda, Florida Attorney General pays for false court testimony from a so-called expert to promote the state's discrimination against Native Americans.

The worst part is that these are the same ignorant philosophies taught in university child welfare curriculum.

AG Paid $60,000 to Anti-Gay Activist Who Hired Male Prostitute
George Rekers' "expert testimony" deemed "not credible" by judge
By JEFF BURNSIDE

Updated 7:30 AM EDT, Fri, May 7, 2010

Controversial anti-gay activist Dr. George Rekers, who is now embroiled in his own gay controversy after admitting to hiring a gay male prostitute to carry his bags on a European trip, was paid by a team of lawyers headed by Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum in a court case defending Florida’s ban on gays adopting children.

Florida is the only state that bans all gays and lesbians from adopting children, though the ACLU is attempting to overturn the law.

Attorneys for McCollum paid Rekers at least $60,900 and perhaps as much as $87,000 for expert testimony in the appeal of the case. But in his testimony, Rekers claimed gays make inferior and even dangerous parents and that adopted kids living in gay households, even after 10 years, would be better off removed from the home and placed with straight parents.

Here are some excerpts from that cross-examination by ACLU of New York's James Esseks with Rekers on the stand:

Q. You have been retained as an expert witness for the State, correct?

A. Yes.

Q. Before agreeing to be retained by the State, you insisted on getting a retainer, an advance payment from the state. Is that correct?

A. Yes.

Q. What was the amount of that advance payment?

A. $60,900.

Q. Do you intend to bill the State for more funds, in addition to that amount?

A. Perhaps.

The Court: Was it 16 or 60?

Ms. Bass: $60,900.

The Witness: Right, yeah, based on $300 an hour.

A source in the Department of Children and Family Services said Rekers’ compensation went up to $87,000.

Here is part of what the state got for all that money:

Q. Well, Dr. Rekers, earlier you testified that Native-Americans have a higher rate of alcohol abuse than the general population does, right?

A. Yes.

Q. It’s a very significantly elevated rate of alcohol abuse, I mean compared to the general population?

A. Yes.

Q. So if Native-Americans have significantly higher rates of alcohol abuse, and if they also have significantly higher rates of psychiatric disorders, and if they also have higher rates of relationship instability, is that enough for you to say that all of a sudden they should be categorically excluded?

The Court: I think you can add violence to that, as well.

The Witness: Yeah, violence, yeah.

Q. And violence, as well.

A. Yeah, if it turned out that a majority of the individuals in the Native-American population, that a majority of them were high risk for one of these things happening, as a lifetime prevalence, there could be a parallel rationale for excluding them, as adoptive parents, because it would be not only them, they would tend to hang around each other. So the children would be around a lot of other Native-Americans, who are doing the same sorts of things, you know.
So it would be a high risk, and, in fact, since you can’t perfectly predict human behavior, the best you can do and the best the State can do is to look at risk levels, and if a particular kind of household poses multiple high risks for condition that would be detrimental for children, then that would be a rationale for excluding that group.

Miami-Dade County Judge Cindy Lederman later dismissed Rekers’ testimony calling it “far from neutral and unbiased.” She said “Dr. Rekers’ beliefs are motivated by his strong ideological and theological convictions” and so Lederman could “not consider his testimony to be credible nor worthy of forming the basis of public policy.”

The ACLU, which is representing gay adoptive father Martin Gill, was stunned to hear Rekers’ paid expert testimony. Spokesman Brandon Hensler admitted to being amused by Rekers’ current gay prostitute controversy. And he further questions why Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum would hire Rekers as an expert witness.

"I can't know for sure what Bill McCollum knew or didn't know,” said Hensler. “But in the end it is his responsibility. He is the Attorney General and it is the Attorney General who is appealing this case."

A ruling is expected any day.

Meanwhile, Rekers is disputing but not denying a New Times article that he hired a 20-year-old male prostitute to accompany him on a trip to Europe. Rekers was photographed carting the man's bags through Miami International Airport this week after the two returned from the trip.

On a statement on his blog, written in the third person, Rekers denied having any sexual involvement with the younger man.

"Dr. Rekers did not even find out about his travel assistant's internet advertisements offering prostitution activity until after the trip was in progress," he wrote.

Leaders of two conservative groups Rekers helped run are now distancing themselves from him. The National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH), which describes itself as “a professional scientific organization dedicated to assisting individuals dealing with unwanted homosexual attractions,” says “we extend our sympathies.

“NARTH takes seriously the accusations that have been made, and we are currently attempting to understand the details behind these press reports.”

The Family Research Council, which Rekers claims he helped found, dismissed Rekers as an early adviser of the organization.

Interesting partisan line of questioning if you are trying to find out if you or your crew is part of the second dossier, but, hey, what do I know?

I know that I had better make sure I have cocktails and popcorn stocked up for everyone when they get to Detroit!

Q -- I think you said earlier that you became aware, or Mrs. Ohr became aware that her research was intended to be about Russia and, you know, about the potential ties between the campaign and Russia. Is that correct?
A Yes. At some point, yes.
Q Okay. Are you aware of any efforts by Fusion GPS to conduct sort of research about other politicians?
A No.
Q I'm --
A I mean, I know Fusion GPS did research on different topics, so I don't specifically know of research on other politicians.

A No, not that I'm aware of, no.
Q Okay. Bob Goodlatte?
A No. Again, not aware of any Fusion GPS research on other Senators, Congressmen, other officials.

IN SURPRISE MOVE, HOUSE REPUBLICAN RELEASES BRUCE OHR TRANSCRIPT

Georgia Rep. Doug Collins unilaterally released a 268-page transcript Friday of a deposition that Justice Department official Bruce Ohr gave to Congress in August.

Collins, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, took the unusual step by reading a statement on the House floor and providing a link to the Ohr transcript in the public record. The representative said his patience with the Justice Department “has grown thin.”

Ohr served in 2016 and 2017 as a back channel between the FBI and Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the anti-Trump dossier alleging collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

(RELATED: Bruce Ohr’s Testimony Contradicts Glenn Simpson’s)

Ohr’s wife, Nellie Ohr, worked as a contractor for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that hired Steele.

Bruce Ohr was interviewed on Aug. 28, 2018 by a task force of members from the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees.

Collins said Friday that he plans to release additional transcripts from interviews conducted by the task force. Lawmakers have also interviewed Nellie Ohr and FBI and Justice Department officials such as former FBI general counsel James Baker and former FBI attorney Lisa Page.“Out of an abundance of caution, we gave DOJ an opportunity to review them for information that would endanger national security, but after many months and little progress, our patience has grown thin,” Collins said.

“The proposed redactions have nothing to do with national security and are anathema to our goal of government transparency,” he continued, adding that “I am, therefore, today making one of these transcripts public.”

“I intend to make other transcripts public soon,” he said. “I’m willing to consider any reasonable redactions DOJ makes in a timely manner, but won’t allow these transcripts to remain shrouded in secrecy.”

Parts of Bruce Ohr’s testimony have already been leaked to the press. In the hearing, Bruce Ohr undercut several claims made by Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS, and California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.

Bruce Ohr testified that he met with Simpson on Aug. 22, 2016 to discuss information from the dossier. That contradicted Simpson’s testimony to House Intelligence on Nov. 14, 2017 that he did not meet with Bruce Ohr until after the election.

Bruce Ohr also told lawmakers that he told the FBI about his contacts with Steele in early August 2016, days after he and Nellie Ohr met the former British spy in Washington, D.C.

Schiff claimed in a memo released on Feb. 24, 2018 that Bruce Ohr did not tell the FBI about his contacts with Steele until after the election.

Ohr testified that he generally trusted Steele, who he first met in 2007, when Steele still worked for the British government. But Ohr had less confidence in Steele’s sources, since their information originated with Russians.

“I think — my impression is that Chris Steele believed his sources,” Ohr said in one exchange.

“What I should say in addition, though, is that whenever you are dealing with information from Russia, you have to be careful, because it is a very complicated place. And so even information from a good source has to be looked at carefully.”

DEFANGO: Wikileaks Vs Q? Deep Dive + Netflix Antifa Pizza Party - s03e12

Defango analyzes the current situations with Wikileaks, Q, Julian Assange, and Antifa in what I call a propaganda challenge to evidentary standards,

In essence, if one can plant a seed through manipulation of the public record, where, in this instance, mysterious, anonymous groups have generated a narrative, to question the credibility of Wikileaks, then the substance of the emails in the Clinton Foundation investigation can be thrown out,

The only problem with this scenario is that the data were preserved years ago and the issue was addressed in House Judiciary, in 2014.

The only problem with this plan, which sounds like the work of "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) is that the investigation is about child welfare, of which Wikileaks has not released, to the public that is, the emails and cables on the trafficking of tiny humans.

Another issue is this: if the question of a campaign, or perhaps elected and appointed officials, possess knowledge of leaking, or of an operation to interfere in ongoing investigations, such as the email investigation, which started under David Patreaus and has previously been addressed by House Judiciary, then why is this anonymous disinformation campaign not being addressed by FBI?

Is not "Q" a leaker, if, in fact, it does possess access to confidential, national intelligence, and, if not, why is it, then, allowed to redirect the narrative away from anything dealing with the trafficking of tiny humans, which includes entitites named in Wikileaks material that has and, more than likely, also named in traunches that have yet to be released.

Propaganda campaigns have always started in child welfare, because no one cares.

Enjoy Defango's Deep Dive...."A D3 Production".

The following is an article speaking upon cyberattacks through psychological operations through social media, a much more complex topic when looking through a lens of intellectual property and judicial redress of grievance.

Qanon: The Path To Dictatorship

Virtually everyone following politics has heard of the #Qanon story. Religiously followed by a growing mass of disciples and vehemently assaulted by a variety of left wing propagandists ranging from Vice to Newsweek, the validity of its claims have sparked a uniquely passionate debate on both sides.  The ones championing its teaching as unquestionable truth range from imageboard dwelling millennials to a considerable number of boomers.  Be it truly the broadcast of insider intel or merely the flagship conspiracy of our time, it’s certainly an exciting read that provides quality entertainment for the end times.

But those faithfully trusting in Q to lead the overthrow of the evil “deep state cabal” and restore American democracy to the people may be missing a much darker purpose for the Qanon posts.

Used as a highly efficient propaganda tool, Q’s drops may actually be aiding an attempt to dismantle the judiciary altogether.  Should it succeed in pushing this distrust across the public through the oft-cited “Great Awakening, this narrative may actually serve to weaponize Americans into removing the only barrier left to toppling democracy and clearing the way for an Emperor to ascend to the throne. That is, of course, assuming that a coup d’etat has not already taken place.

The basic theme to the Qanon 8chan posts are that Trump and Sessions are frantically working behind the scenes to bring down what we all now know to be a very real and very corrupt deep state shadow government.  The antagonists — corrupt intelligence agency officials, congressmen, and news media plants — did not expect Trump to win and therefore are in “panic mode” over a number of crimes committed over the last eight to twenty years.  These crimes allegedly range from what we’ve seen already (election rigging, dark money, bribes take by elected officials and intelligence agencies) to the far-fetched (mass sex trafficking and pedophilia among elected officials). Some predictions have failed (Hillary Clinton being arrested in October 2017) while others have been eerily prophetic (the pope’s bizarre suggestion of changing the Lord’s prayer).

Perhaps the most compelling narrative is Q’s assertion that high level crime and corruption has been committed within Obama’s Department of Justice and heads of the intelligence agencies, going up to his Chief of Staff Loretta Lynch.  Q compares the systematic dismantling of these “bad actors” to defusing a bomb: the right wires must be cut to disable the mechanism without detonating the entire thing. In this case, the “explosion” of an inadvertent detonation would be the complete collapse of the entire Judicial Branch of America. Q warns that if such an event could occur, all court rulings throughout this period of time could be rendered null and void, and ultimately be challenged according to our current legal channels.

But what if this is the actual plan?

Thanks to the perfect storm of recent disasters ranging from James Clapper’s NSA spying (and perjury upon questioned of it) to former FBI director James  Comey’s destructive letter to Congress about reopening the Clinton email case, Deputy director Andrew McCabe’s contradicting testimony, all of the horrors of the recent IG report, and DOJ’s complete lack of prosecution of any of these crimes, the entire foundation of our intelligence agencies and judicial department is weak and may easily be toppled. The public has lost faith in our judicial department, and has lost faith in all of our intelligence agencies.

Correction: almost all of our intelligence agencies.
There is one agency that remains free of scandal, unearthed corruption, and public distrust: Military Intelligence.  Coincidentally, this is the one place that Trump seems to be comfortably nestled within, protected by its rank and file like the walls of an impenetrable fortress.  Some even speculate that the Qanon postings are an MI counter op that was planned since before Trump took the Oval Office:
According to veteran investigative reporter and best selling author, Dr. Jerome Corsi, he was approached three years ago by a group of generals and told that Donald Trump had been recruited by U.S. military intelligence to run in the 2016 Presidential elections, and subsequently help remove corrupt Deep State officials from positions of power. Corsi claims that QAnon represents the same group of senior military intelligence officials who are exposing the Deep State corruption and officials involved in a history of treasonous actions against the U.S. Republic.
Trump has, from the start of his presidency, surrounded himself by generals and high ranking military personnel.  He has given in to their demands even when in strict opposition to his voter base’s opinion. His spending budget was riddled with Democrat concessions in favor of remarkable military spending. In nearly all of his speeches he’s praised his soldiers and even suggested an American military parade.   This is likely why Q believes Trump is completely untouchable by Mueller’s highly biased quest to ignite a Trump impeachment, as indicated in many of his posts.

It is without question that America’s deep state will go full throttle to attempt to sabotage the Trump presidency before their crimes are unearthed and prosecuted.  We now know that Obama had spies inside Trump’s campaign, had FBI agents offering his colleagues damaging information on Hillary on behalf of Russia, and had baited a “Russian Collusion” setup in the strange event that he would win.  Whether or not Trump actually committed any crimes during his campaign is insignificant: Mueller is going to attempt to set the stage for an impeachment vote, and the media will throw everything they have at the public to get them to consider.  If this fails, they will use all of the media weapons at their disposal to grow a public uprising to try to force Trump out of power while rogue intelligence agents (now removed) will try to sabotage any investigations that may deter this.

But through this gamble, they have inadvertently cleared the path for Trump to garner the public support he needs to overthrow the constitution and seize full authoritarian control of America.  He has already successfully (and thankfully) dismantled the public’s trust of the mainstream media by proving their complete corruption.  This is step two of overthrowing any democracy, with step one being garnering control of the military (which Trump appears to already have done).  To complete the transition, he needs to either attain control of or dismantle the judicial branch.  With the unprecedented Democrat stonewalling on all of his judicial appointees, the former may not be possible. But with the massive failures of all intelligence agencies and the years of DOJ failures to prosecute criminal swamp creatures, there is a growing consensus that our judicial system is broken beyond repair.  Should evidence arrive that the DOJ was compromised; the stage will be set for Trump to conquer.

Qanon’s world is built upon a presumed “great awakening” within public consciousness.  But this awakening might actually be a conditioning: a conditioning of the masses to rally behind Trump’s military order at any cost. And its likelihood of success is very considerable: it is without a doubt that any attempt to remove Trump, no matter what the grounds or the crime, will be met with the full wrath of most of our country.  With at least half of the population firmly behind Trump (unironically the half who is likely to own a firearm), and the power of a strengthened military at his disposal, Trump should be able to seize the throne without much resistance.

It’s possible that Q is just a conspiracy theory, and it’s also possible that it’s real.  But to assume either may underestimate its purpose and its potential.  Q may instead be a sign of the empire to come, and a powerful weapon in crafting its long-overdue reign.  If this is a case, we can look forward to an end of many of the liberal woes we’ve seen over the last 50 years.

Again, the moral of the story is, "Do not be mean to my Sweetie. Period."

Cocktails & Popcorn: "Q" Black Psyops Has Successfully Crossed Over Into Weaponized Reality - The Avenatti Threat

Have you ever wondered how propaganda campaigns are manufactured?

Well, if you have been following along for the last 10 years, you should, at this point, be able to spot a propaganda campaign in the blink of an eye.

In this case, this is how anonymously funded groups are forming in the dark web, I mean really, really dark web, coming up with propaganda campaigns to rally vulnerable populations, with the intent of executing their nefarious schemes, which more than likely, as seen in this live case study, for the purposes of privateering, or probably a legal defense smear campaign.

Speaking of smear campaigns... it feels like Perkins Coie has there hand stuck in the batter of this psyop.

I am going to just go out there, on a limb, and make an "unfounded assertion" that this "Q" might be a familiar, "spurious correlation" somewhere, floating around, in a financial transaction.

Rumors have it the U.S. Senate Judiciary has taken up this "anonymous" source called "Q".

But, hey, what do I know?

#perkinscoiesucks

This is not a "peaceable assembly", and as such, disturbs the tranquility of the public, making this a mob activity of insurrection.

This is getting violent.

That is not cool.

Avenatti Targeted in Person by QAnon, the Crazy Pro-Trump Conspiracy Theory

Police are investigating a man photographed outside the office of Stormy Daniels’s attorney after ‘Q,’ the theory’s leader, sent followers there.

Image result for avenatti
Stormy & Avenatti
Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti is the latest target for supporters of the pro-Trump conspiracy theory QAnon, with police investigating a man’s appearance near Avenatti’s office after the building was mentioned in QAnon posts.

QAnon believers claim that a series of cryptic clues posted to internet forums 4Chan and 8Chan are coming from a high-level Trump administration insider, describing a world where Trump has teamed up with the military to take on a global cabal of powerful elites, celebrities, and pedophiles.

“Q,” the online poster whose messages make up the basis of the QAnon theory, targeted Avenatti on Sunday by posting a link to Avenatti’s website and pictures of his Newport Beach, California, office building.

“Buckle up!” the post, made on 8Chan, read.

About 45 minutes later, Q posted a picture of a man standing in the street near Avenatti’s office. The man, who has his back to the camera, is holding what appears to be a cellphone in one hand and a long, thin object in the other.

Avenatti said that the man in the picture might be holding a shank.
“That’s not a set of keys,” Avenatti told The Daily Beast. “It also looks like he’s wearing a toupee of some sort. And not a very good one, I might add.”

Volunteer experiences divert Rob McCann to Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities executive director Rob McCann facetiously says his life was “ruined” by volunteer experiences with campus ministry and the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC).

McCann
Rob McCann
He went to college thinking he would go to law school and be an attorney in New York City like others in his family.

His plans were diverted by volunteer work through campus ministry at local shelters and a two-month summer program with Jesuit Social Services in Ecuador, and by his involvement with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps both teaching migrant kindergarten children in Woodburn, Ore., and doing community outreach in Torreon, Mexico, and East Los Angeles.

By “ruined,” he means “transformed.”

“It’s easy to live life and not know how others live, but once you become aware of people who live in poverty, suffer and lack basic human dignity, it changes how you look at life,” he said.  “Once you have that moment, you can choose to ignore what it means or to be part of the solution.”

His choice to be part of the solution meant that in September 2005, he succeeded Donna Hanson, who was executive director of Catholic Charities in Spokane for 27 years and who mentored him in his work as associate director since 2000.

In his new role, he fosters opportunities for volunteers—based on their comfort levels and skills—at House of Charity, St. Margaret’s Shelter, St. Anne’s Child and Family Center, and 62 other Catholic Charities’ programs in Eastern Washington. Perhaps he helps disrupt and transform some other lives, changing people and their outlooks.

After graduating from Fairfield University in Connecticut in 1991 with a degree in American studies and political science, Rob spent two years with the JVC.

“I had opportunities to see how the rest of the world lives and felt I needed to do something about it,” he said.

His first step was to earn a master’s degree in organizational leadership at Gonzaga in 1995.  Then, while he was young, single and could fit all his belongings into the back of a car, he wanted overseas experience.

For several years, he was a program evaluator with the Catholic Relief Services’ Harvest of Hope Program, traveling to 31 countries—including Bosnia, Rwanda and Kosovo.

Catholic Relief Services is an international disaster relief and development agency, serving some of the most poverty-stricken areas of Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.

In 1997 in India, he worked with and learned from Mother Teresa.

Through CRS, he visited agricultural programs, mother-child programs, health programs, refugee camps, water projects and other programs. Along with tips for success for each country program he visited, Rob developed a list of the top 10 mistakes learned in other countries.  He reported back to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and  CRS headquarters in Baltimore.

“I saw similar programs in different countries,” he said.  “In Sudan, I might share with local staff how an Angolan community does a water project.  Knowing what worked elsewhere helped people gain expertise.”

Rob went as a colleague, recognizing also that every country and culture does programs in different ways, and evaluating programs in light of the culture.

“What works in the mother-child program in Cambodia might not work in Senegal because of different family traditions, expectations, languages and tribal dynamics,” he said.

In Spokane, Rob also deals with the diverse cultures of chronically mentally ill people or children from families of different cultures.

Donna hired him in 2000 as associate director to oversee construction of two new homeless shelters and St. Anne’s Children and Family Center.

While working at Catholic Charities in Spokane, he completed a doctoral degree in leadership studies at Gonzaga University in 2004.  He met and married his wife, Rachel, in 2001.  They now have a one-year-old son, Timothy James.

As associate director, he would oversee programs, write grants, secure accreditation and do many other tasks, mentored by Donna.

“I learned the nuts-and-bolts details of how programs ran from the ‘global’ perspective of seeing the picture of the  overall organization,” he said.

“Catholic Charities focuses on the core values of respect, compassion, collaboration and justice.  Those words are visible in our facilities—the mission statements on the walls,” he said.  “We make decisions through these four lenses.  Volunteers and staff are to live these values, to walk the talk.”

Having grown up in a Catholic family with Catholic education from kindergarten through PhD, he said faith is a “big piece” of what he does at Catholic Charities.

Being Catholic, however, does not limit the scope of service, because service is provided based on “need not creed.”  About 85 percent of staff and of those served are not Catholic.

McCann
Rob says Catholic Charities looks at the core values of faith traditions.
“We look at the core values of the Catholic tradition, values shared by most other traditions—Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish and other faiths, as well as other Christian,” he said, returning to the four basic values.

More than 90 years ago, Catholics in Eastern Washington wanted to respond to the poverty they saw.  Farmers, bankers and other business people started Catholic Charities in this diocese to do that, he said.

“We exist in their name to serve anyone in need as a nonprofit, faith-based organization operating on the core values of the Gospel,” Rob said.

In accordance with a previous requirement for non-profits and faith-based organizations receiving federal, state or local funding, there is no evangelism component.

“There are times evangelism is appropriate and times when it is not appropriate.  It is not appropriate in programs we run, programs based on the unconditional love of the Gospel, whether people accept Christ or don’t,” he said.

“If someone is hungry, cold or homeless, that person wants a meal, a blanket and warm shelter, not necessarily religion,” Rob said.

“Creed is the impetus for how and why we care, but it does not mandate who we serve.  My faith tradition led me into this work, allows me to process it and gives me passion to do it.

“In my read of Catholicism, we are called to serve people in need, if we are to walk the path Christ walked. I learned through Jesuit spirituality and the Jesuit motto of ‘contemplatives in action,’” he said.

“Catholic Charities measures outcomes of its service of about 50,000 people a year based on their becoming more stable, healthier, happier and more self sufficient because of the programs.  Some will lead better lives.  Some may not, but we hope that all we serve will at least live in more dignity.

“Some have slept at House of Charity for 20 years and may sleep there 20 more years—in dignity.  Some may be assisted to leave and become homeowners or move into stable housing.

“We meet people where they are, sit down with them and ask how they are doing and what they need.  Then we design a program of action and assistance for them,” Rob said.  “People have to be interested in bettering themselves.  Some are not ready and may need basic human respect before they will want to make changes in their lives.”

Parishes, women religious, Jesuits, other nonprofits, other denominations and faith communities partner with Catholic Charities.  The non-Catholic volunteer base has grown and the non-Catholic donor base has tripled.

“People know we reach all kinds of people,” Rob said.

“Like any nonprofit, we live year to year on city, state, federal, donor and grant funds.  We live on faith,” he said.  “Over our 90-year history, we have had years of ups and downs with changes in laws and grants.

“We are healthy, do good work and are accountable for funds donated, which inspires more giving,” he commented.

Beyond the current political talk of “faith-based initiatives,” Rob said the government has long channeled funds to serve the poor through Catholic Charities and similar organizations:  “Now it’s a buzz word and spin on what has been happening for years.

“Catholic Charities is the biggest social-service provider in the country.  Government funds are essential for us to do our job,” he said.  “We have respected, in receiving those funds, the original requirement of providing the services without overt evangelism.  We will not change our stance of serving all people, regardless of their religious beliefs.

“Everyone is a child of God and deserves unconditional love and dignity.  As a civilization, we will not be judged by the money in our banks, our technology or the number of skyscrapers, but by how we treat the weakest people among us,” he said.  “History judges a civilization by the quality of its relationships and how people act to end injustice.”

So along with helping people in need, Catholic Charities educates people so they are aware of and act on the relationship between Catholic social justice teachings and institutional injustice.  The Parish Social Services office does the education and advocacy piece with Catholic Relief Services.

Reflecting on the growing needs, Rob said Catholic Charities seeks to expand its capacity to respond.

Over his 15 years in social services, he has seen needs continue to grow.

“I wish there were fewer homeless and hungry people.  Our goal should be to close programs for a lack of need,” he said.

Catholic Charities has about 8,000 volunteers, more every year.  It has 220 staff, compared to 63 five years ago.  The new staff fill roles in the new, expanded facilities for the House of Charity, St. Margaret’s and St. Anne’s, which have tripled the capacity of Catholic Charities to serve the region.

The House of Charity grew from 38 to 109 beds.  St. Margaret’s grew from room for four families to room for 18. The old St. Anne’s Child and Family Center served 18 children, and the new facility serves 200.

Catholic Charities has added more farm-worker housing in Othello and Pasco.  The agency also has 700 housing units for seniors and families throughout Eastern Washington.

Catholic Charities refutes claims of lawlessness and building a ‘small army’ of homeless people

Catholic Charities, which runs the city’s largest homeless shelter and has built hundreds of permanent homes for chronically homeless people, aggressively pushed back against what it deemed “some very serious misstatements that have been floating around in the community.”

Rob McCann, president of Catholic Charities Spokane, said flyers have been passed around near the House of Charity listing numerous lies about the shelter, crime associated with it and plans his organization has to build more housing. A separate petition seeking to “get control of the 1,000 people we already have” before Catholic Charities is allowed to build more housing has also circulated and gathered signatures.

At a hastily called news conference, McCann said they’ve known of the flyer and petition for more than two months but only felt compelled to dispel the rumors this week, for reasons he did not explain.

The flyer is a list of grievances filled with numerous assumptions and outright lies, McCann said.

Under a header called “Known Facts,” it states that “homeless are trying to get hit by driving cars,” “overnighters have been raped” and “police are not allowed inside” Catholic Charities’ facilities. It also said the organization planned to build “a Spokane slum empire” with 9,000 units for a “small army” of homeless people.

McCann, who is incorrectly referred to as Rob McKenna in the flyer, characterized the points on the flyers as “factually inaccurate,” but didn’t’ give them a “second thought.”

He did have something to say about the petition calling for his group to stop building housing for the chronically homeless.

“Here’s the spoiler: We’re not going to do that,” he said, noting construction of two new buildings with 50 units each would begin this fall, part of a long-term plan to build up to 800 units of permanent housing for chronically homeless people.

At the news conference, McCann gave a nearly point-by-point refutation of the flyer.

The flyer says that drugs and weapons are allowed in the House of Charity.

“First and foremost, weapons and drugs are not allowed in the House of Charity,” McCann said. “However, it’s a low-demand shelter. We take anybody in any condition, which means we take people who are still actively using, actively drinking, may not be on their meds with mental health issues, and with that population does sometimes come some illegal substances and weapons. But they’re not allowed in the House of Charity. We have strict rules about that.”

The flyer says that rapes have occurred in the shelter.

“That is completely untrue,”McCann said. “We do not have any knowledge of any such activity at the House of Charity. Certainly we would know about it if it happened.”

The flyer says police are not allowed in the shelter.

“The police are always welcome at the House of Charity,” McCann said. “The police are our number one collaborators and partners in Spokane. Without them, we could not do this work. We are blessed with an amazing police department in the city of Spokane. They give a level of patience and understanding to this population that they don’t always earn and deserve.”

The flyer says Catholic Charities plans to build 9,000 units for the homeless population.

“I wish,” McCann said. “That would be great if we could build 9,000 units for the homeless in this community.”

He pointed out that Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle combined don’t have that much permanent housing for the homeless.

The flyer said Catholic Charities’ housing developments are a “slum empire,” which McCann said was not only offensive, but also wrong.

“These are not slums. These are the nicest buildings on the blocks in most cases,” he said of his group’s buildings, such as the Father Bach Haven and Donna Hanson Haven. “The word ‘slum’ is just a really negative, unfair term.”

McCann acknowledged the shelter did have problems, but noted it was built to shelter 109 homeless men and has in recent months sheltered upward of 400 “men, women, couples, service animals and everything in between. That has put a great stress on our neighborhood and our block.”

McCann said he hasn’t seen any instances of violence against homeless people inspired by the flyer and petition but said a man, “likely the same individual who did this flyer,” has entered Catholic Charities’ buildings and filmed clients and residents without permission.

He said other people have experienced “emotional and verbal trauma as a result of being berated.”

Finally, McCann said about 85 percent of Spokane’s chronically homeless population suffer from mental health and substance abuse issues, making them a “very fragile, delicate population.” He asked for patience from the greater community.

“Certainly when you’re struggling with mental health and substance abuse, you’re not always making the best decisions, nor would any of us in this room if we were suffering with mental health and substance abuse,” he said. “We will never, ever apologize for the work of serving the poor at Catholic Charities.”

Tales Of The New Crown: Detroit Does Not Want Schools To Open Even Though Betsy DeVos Needs That Medicaid Targeted Case Management Money Badly

If Betsy DeVos, et. al, does not get that school money, then what is going to happen with all those Social Impact Bonds?

Dare I say a global collapse in the bond markets?

She has got her teachers, staff, administration, policy think tanks, hedge fund managers, and any other financial creature hissing and grimacing behind her back if she does not get that money, as they have already advanced predictive modeling crapping generated Medicaid cost reimbursements under COVID 19 Post Traumatic Stress Training CARES Act.

Just go ask my favorite Maltese K-nig-hit!

Oops, did I just say that!?!

If there is no more schools, then, that means there is no more Medicaid Targeted Case Management, which means the Archdiocese of Detroit is going to have to start dissolving its privatized foster care and adoption agencies, unless they got that PPP, but that has nothing to do with the revenue maximization schemes which target populations... like Black Lives Matter does..which is how they make their money....through Medicaid Fraud in Child Welfare...

Oh, heck, just watch the video.

I wonder if the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is going to have to start up a GoFundMe page?

I await the filing of the case and shall post hastily.

I bet this might mess up Bankole's bankroll, but, hey, what do I know?

I know this is sooooooooo romantic.....

BAMN vows to stop summer school in Detroit, blocks buses

Demonstrators block the driveways of the Detroit Public Schools West Side Bus Terminal to keep school buses from running on the first day of summer school, in Detroit, July 13, 2020. Concerns about COVID-19 and a lack of safety measures prompted the protesters to demand that schools close.
"Our children are not guinea pigs!!"
#labrats
Detroit — An attorney for a national civil rights organization will seek a court order to shut down summer school in Detroit's public schools, alleging the district is unprepared to mitigate COVID-19 dangers and is putting students and staff at risk.

Shanta Driver, national chairwoman of By Any Means Necessary and a civil rights attorney, said she will be filing a request for a preliminary injunction in the Court of Claims on Tuesday to stop the Detroit Public Schools Community District from opening 23 school buildings for its first week of in-person summer school.

DPSCD did open buildings on Monday for the first day of summer school for about 500 students, according to a Twitter post by superintendent Nikolai Vitti, marking the first time since mid-March that students entered schools for face-to-face instruction.

"COVID is not going away," Vitti tweeted. "Many of our children need face-to-face, direct engagement. We should not make that requirement for all children and families. Parents should be able to choose face-to-face or online."

Earlier Monday, BAMN demonstrators picketed in front of the district's westside bus terminal on Greenfield Road, blocking any buses from leaving to pick up students who needed transportation to summer school.

Driver said the bus drivers her organization spoke to said they were not given COVID-19 safety training for themselves or the children they are picking up.

"They have no hand sanitizers on board. They were not told of social distance measures. They have no masks themselves and have no masks for students," Driver said.

Kenshawn Siebert said he will not return to work as a contract DPSCD bus driver until safety measures are in place for himself and students on the bus. Siebert reported for work Monday with his own mask but was not provided training for COVID-19 safety measures, masks for students or sanitzers for riders.

Siebert, who works for Trinity Transportation/National Express, said he was not tested for COVID-19 before attempting to drive the school bus Monday and was not asked to seek a test on his own before reporting for work.

"My company has nothing in place for the safety of the students. None of us have been tested for COVID and they are starting the school bus system," Siebert said. "They are not prepared for it, and there is nothing in place to keep the drivers safe or students safe."

Teachers have contacted BAMN, Driver said, saying they were told by the district if they see a sick student, they are to remove him or her from the classroom, yet they are not being told where to place that student.

"Teachers have been given 10-minute video to watch on how to deal with reopening schools. That is so inadequate," Driver said. "It's so dangerous, and it's so irresponsible. We want to prevent them from opening schools until they can show it is something that can do safely."

Vitti was not immediately available for comment Monday. On Monday, he posted on Twitter a photograph of students inside a classroom wearing masks and sitting at desks that were spaced out.

"DPSCD serving 500 students face to face today. Thank you to all of our employees who made this happen for our students and families. Good to see students in schools this morning," Vitti said on Twitter.

Monday was the first day of summer school classes held in 26 different schools. According to the district's website, students can choose between in-person classes or virtual classes for summer learning.

Precautions the district said it will take include the requirement of masks for students and teachers, self-assessments and temperature checks for everyone who enters the buildings, and negative COVID-19 test results needed to be submitted by all adults working in summer schools.

The district is also requiring a ratio of 10-15 students per 1 adult for each classroom.

Summer classes are scheduled for four hours on Monday through Thursday. The summer semester will end Aug. 6. The district has said that summer learning is on a voluntary basis for students and teachers. DPSCD spokeswoman Chrystal Wilson could not be immediately reached for comment.

On Sunday, Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist echoed recent statements by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, saying schools won't reopen in the fall if coronavirus cases have not been controlled.

"The politicization of schools during the coronavirus, it really disgusts me. I mean as a parent of twin 6-year-olds who will be entering the second grade in the fall, I want my kids to be safe, I want every child in the state of Michigan, and frankly, the country to be safe," Gilchrist said.

Monday's bus demonstration, which started at 5 a.m. and lasted until 9 a.m., was organized with By Any Means Necessary, an organization that has held other recent protests.

"There's a reason they're only opening these schools in Detroit and Detroit has had the worst of COVID-19," said Kate Stenvig, one of the BAMN organizers. "We're not going to allow our kids to be guinea pigs in this experiment."

Along with forming a picket line in front of the two exit driveways at the terminal, protesters dug up plants and tree branches and placed them as a barricade in front of the open gates.

BAMN organizers said no buses left the terminal during the protest and at least two school bus drivers publicly quit during the demonstration, saying it was on Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and Vitti.

"We've made so many sacrifices as teachers, to ask us to sacrifice our lives and even our children that we love and care about, it's just not right. We have to draw the line somewhere," said Tracy Brown, a teacher at Mackenzie Elementary and Middle School.

Around 100 people came out for the protest, and at one point, about 10 city police and school police vehicles were present.

"I'm not going back until this pandemic is defeated. There is no safe way to return to school while this virus is spreading uncontained," said Benjamin Royal, a teacher at Maybury Elementary School in Detroit.

"I'm not going to risk my life, and I'm not going to help create a situation where my students would have to risk their lives."

Dear Governor Whitmer, Attorney General Nessel, and other members of the Legislature,

I am reaching out to you all today with the hope that discussions can finally take place about some very serious issues within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.  As someone that has been working with families for a number of years that are involved with CPS and by means of my own investigating, I must make you all aware of the situation.

I have sent this document to the court and parties involved in the Dwayne B. lawsuit filed by Children's Rights and intend to follow up with Federal agencies as well.  I would have provided far more, but current state laws do not allow me to do so and without legal permission, I can only relay what I know and have come across.

While the last year we have heard horror stories about how immigrant kids are being ripped from their families and the permanent damage that it does to them, the same thing is happening right in our own backyards and it is not getting any attention.  Why is that? I can think of several reasons with the primary one being the fallacy that MDHHS propagates that they only get involved and remove kids when it is truly necessary.  That gets compounded by the fact that investigations get derailed by their privacy claims yet you all can have people sign waivers to help get families food stamps, Medicaid and work out Disability issues.  How is health information any less sensitive?  And why in the last year, have two separate entities with one being the Auditor General had to sue to get information that they are allowed to have?

As you will see in my Notice, the reason seems to be that the Department has far too much to hide and that Child Welfare is in worse shape than anyone has been allowed to know.  We are talking at least half a dozen deaths because of their failures that I have been able to find, and there are likely far more.  That doesn't include the two adult deaths that happened in two murder suicides that took the lives of 4 children.  There are other considerable failures that also need to be addressed.

It was my goal to summarize as best as possible and to show how there are consistent issues that no one seems to be properly addressing and that includes the Judicial Branch and Departments such as MDHHS, the State Court Administrator's Office, Office of Children's Ombudsman and other safety measures that have allegedly been put in place.  However, having years of information stored up and not being able to refer to documents I had to describe what is going on and it ended up being considerably longer than planned.  You will want to set aside some time to read and consider what is contained within it because so many things depend on legislators calling MDHHS to the table to get control back and proper oversight of their operations put in place.

I will not sugar coat what is happening and some of what you read will be hard to stomach and even to believe, part of that is because MDHHS has become a master of propaganda and hiding the reality of what is going on.  Most of you will never have had an encounter with CPS; count yourself very lucky and accept that you really don't have an understanding of what it is like to deal with them.  I would have to make an educated guess that even fewer have sat through court proceedings in a CPS case and it is time that you do so.  Ask questions, expect to get very few answers.  When you get answers, ask to see the data itself that merits the response you get; don't be surprised if you are told you cannot see it because, apparently, just numbers are considered violating privacy.

I, personally, expect to see some kind of retaliation in response to all of this.  To what degree is unknown.  Someone may look in the system and see children living with us and make a random call to CPS when there are no children in our home.  Anything could happen and I expect it to come mainly from Arenac County because I have called them out specifically in my notice.  Why?  Because they are not following laws or policies, are changing court documents after they are filed, not properly placing complaints into the system, they have tried to have a family "swatted" based on  so-called evidence they likely obtained from a wiretap or electronic surveillance that they had no reason to be doing  They have placed children in non-licensed foster homes that no one knows how they got there, they predetermine cases with the judge as it would appear, the list goes on.  They will also work overtime to discredit me and anyone else that speaks out about the county but I have my proofs in order.  The problem is that I cannot legally share them with any of you.  We need a law immediately that allows families to share documents with legislators without penalty so that you all can see what is going on.  The only things that can currently be shared are things like newspaper articles and other publicly available information.

The time to protect your most vulnerable constituents is now.  It can only be done through action and that requires listening and investigation by you and your staffs.  Ask yourselves, why has the state been in this lawsuit for more than 10 years with little forward progress and now a $230,000,000 computer program has to be scrapped and a new one implemented?  If the computer system is so bad, how can anything coming from it be trusted?  Why are workers not telling parents who have concerns of abuse and neglect in foster homes to report it to central intake?  Far too many questions and not enough acceptable answers.  A word of caution: I have heard reports of legislators being bribed or threatened in various ways when they attempt to take on MDHHS so be prepared to report any and all of it to the proper authorities.  Record conversations that you have with their staff or anyone that reaches out to you on their behalf.  Do so without disclosing you are doing so because that is one of the few ways you will have to protect yourself.  This is not legal advice, but it is advice given to me by an attorney when we were dealing with CPS.

It must also be made known that by not providing appropriate or adequate services and by lying on petitions while claiming Federal funds, MDHHS could very well be committing massive and widespread fraud for CPATA, ASFA and Social Security funds in addition to Medicaid funds.  In addition, the Health Department is illegally trying to find ways around the FERPA laws when it comes to vaccine waivers.  As such, the state is wide open to Federal lawsuits to recover funds as well as being placed in Federal Receivership if these matters are not immediately addressed and a Federal Investigation is done.

I am happy to answer any questions you have to the best of my ability and if I do not immediately have the answer, I will do my best to get answers for you.  If you all can get legislation passed to allow parents to share case documents with you, I can get you more than enough parents to share their cases with you so that you can see firsthand what is truly going on in Child Welfare.  I am also willing to do what I can to be a part of the solution moving forward, I don't want to be just another person complaining.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Jezowski
