Tales Of The New Crown: Michigan Supreme Court Says Whitmer Abused Emergency Manager Law But What About Matt?

Pearl clutching moments as we wait for Matt Schneider.

This ruling could also be applied to Rick Snyder, or rather Richard Baird and the Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr, but hey, what do I know?

I know Don McGahn can tell us the entire tale, as an original source, of course.

Oh, heck, I am just going to come out and say it ~ "Where is JonesDay?"

State Supreme Court strikes down Whitmer's emergency powers

Lansing — The Michigan Supreme Court ruled on Friday that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer did not have authority after April 30 to issue or renew any executive orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic under the 1976 Emergency Management Act.

The court, in its 71-page ruling, also found Whitmer did not possess the authority to exercise emergency powers under the 1945 Emergency Powers of the Governor Act because the act violates the Michigan Constitution.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer
The ruling concluded the EPGA violated the Michigan Constitution because it delegated to the executive branch the legislative powers of state government and allowed the executive branch to exercise those powers indefinitely.

"... the Governor only possessed the authority or obligation to declare a state of emergency or state of disaster once and then had to terminate that declaration when the Legislature did not authorize an extension; the Governor possessed no authority to redeclare the same state of emergency or state of disaster and thereby avoid the Legislature’s limitation on her authority," the ruling said.

The ruling said while the EPGA only allows the governor to declare a state of emergency when public safety is imperiled, "public-health emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic can be said to imperil public safety."

The Supreme Court's ruling on the question of the 1976 Emergency Management Act was unanimous. But the ruling on the 1945 Emergency Powers of the Governor Act saw a 4-3 split with Republican-nominated justices ruling the act unlawfully delegated legislative power to the governor.

Those ruling against the act were Justices Stephen Markman, Brian Zahra, Beth Clement and David Viviano.

Three medical centers filed suit against Whitmer in federal court earlier this year in a challenge to her executive order that prohibited non-essential procedures at the height of the pandemic.

The suit argued the 1945 Emergency Powers of Governor Act lacked reference to epidemics or public health and that the act's use of the word "emergency" implied a specific time limit.

House Speaker Lee Chatfield, R-Levering, said on Twitter that the court ruled in agreement with the Legislature that the 1945 law is unconstitutional.

"The governor had no right to extend the state of emergency over the Legislature’s objection. Our Constitution matters, and this was a big win for our democratic process," Chatfield said.

Michigan Republican Party Chairwoman Laura Cox added the ruling marked "a great day for the people of Michigan."

"Gov. Whitmer overexerted her powers," Cox said. "The Legislature wants to be a willing partner in dealing with COVID-19, and Governor Whitmer should recognize their duly delegated role.”

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer with Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II, behind her, acknowledges some guests, during the State of the State address at the Capitol Building in Lansing, Mich. on Jan. 29, 2020.  She is flanked by Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey, left, and Speaker of the House Lee Chatfield, right.
Lower courts have previously interpreted the 1945 law as giving the governor the ability to declare an emergency and then determine when the emergency is over.

It's one of two laws that allow a Michigan governor to declare an emergency. The 1976 Emergency Management Act includes a time limit that requires the legislative approval to extend an emergency past 28 days.

The suit from the medical centers closely aligned with litigation filed by the GOP-led Michigan Legislature, which has argued Whitmer's unilateral powers violate the separation of powers in government.

The governor's emergency powers should last only as long as it takes for the Legislature to assemble itself to address the emergency, argued lawyers for the GOP Legislature and the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, the group representing the medical centers.

Deputy Solicitor General Eric Restuccia, who represented the governor in the case, countered that Whitmer's unilateral authority is necessary to ensure the governor can continue to act in the event that an emergency prevents the Legislature from holding session or makes it impractical to wait for lawmakers to go through the lawmaking process.

Whitmer has issued more than 180 executive orders since the start of the pandemic under the 1945 Emergency Powers of the Governor Act and the 1976 Emergency Management Act, the latter of which has a 28-day time limit unless extended by the Legislature.

The state high court only considered the arguments of the medical centers after federal district Judge Paul Maloney requested they rule on the question of Whitmer's emergency powers before he decided on the merits of their case.

Separately, a petition initiative drive led by the Unlock Michigan committee has collected more than 400,000 signatures to repeal the 1945 law at issue in the case.

Whitmer first declared a state of emergency because of COVID-19 on March 10. Since then, Michigan has confirmed more than 121,000 cases of the virus and 6,700 deaths linked to it.

Michigan Court Of Appeals Hearing On Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer & Her Magical Emergency Manager Powers Argument Simplified By Me

But, wait!

There is a fourth source of power a governor has to effectuate such sweeping powers of an Emergency Manager.

It is called being duly elected.

See, if you claim to be elected, in an election that was so jacked up, that it is still not certified because no one certified the 2018 Special Election.

That would make Gretchen Whitmer illegitimate, which means she does not possess any duly elected powers of goverening, in any shape or form, which means every single little thing she has ever done is retroactively nullified.

And, because everything I just said has been public information in the form of a play by play, real time narrative, Gretch, and her rogue ass crew cannot claim ignorance because I got the data of reading it all.

And, if they do play that, "Duh, I had no idea," crap, you know they are lying because they were stealin' the children, land & vote, where these "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) arguing on behalf of both parties, being the State House of Representatives and the Office of the Governor, should all be defrocked.

The last time I checked, you are supposed to present your instruments of authority to demonstrate your capacity to bring forth a cause of action, in the form of corporate parental rights, in the form of a certified, sealed, oath of office, filed in the Great Repository of the Great Seal of Michigan.

This is called a quo warranto because she has no duly granted authority to be the armiger of the state.

She has no right to keep and bear the arms of the State of Michigan.

Tah dah!

My legal arguments are way more funner than these "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending).

Hey Boo Boo & Matt,

You may thank me in that constitutional executive orders thing you contemporaneously got going on.

JonesDay needs to come out and play.....

Where is Don McGahn & Kevyn Orr?

Appeals court rules against Trump, says House can sue to enforce McGahn subpoena

A federal appeals court on Friday upheld the House's subpoena of former White House counsel Don McGahn, ruling that Congress has the right to enforce its subpoenas in court.

The 7-2 decision from the full D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals reverses an earlier ruling from a divided three-judge panel that declared that congressional subpoenas were essentially unenforceable.

"The Constitution charges Congress with certain responsibilities, including to legislate, to conduct oversight of the federal government, and, when necessary, to impeach and remove a President or other Executive Branch official from office," Judge Judith Rogers wrote in the majority opinion. "Possession of relevant information is an essential precondition to the effective discharge of all of those duties."

Although the ruling is a clear victory for congressional Democrats, it does not mean that McGahn will be sitting for testimony anytime soon. The majority decision did not address the Trump administration's claim that White House officials are immune to congressional subpoena, so even if McGahn does not appeal the ruling, the two sides will still have more to litigate before the D.C. Circuit.

Kerri Kupec, a spokeswoman for the Department of Justice, didn't say whether the administration would appeal the ruling.

The circuit court on Friday also ruled that the House has standing to sue Trump over his diversion of Pentagon funds to border wall construction.

“While we strongly disagree with the standing ruling in McGahn, the en banc court properly recognized that we have additional threshold grounds for dismissal of both cases, and we intend to vigorously press those arguments before the panels hearing those cases,” Kupec said in a statement.

The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed McGahn last year as part of an effort to follow up on the former special counsel's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. That investigation eventually morphed into President Trump's impeachment by the House and acquittal by the Senate.

Trump directed McGahn, his former legal adviser, not to comply with the subpoena, and the Department of Justice's Office of Legal Counsel said the president and his inner circle were immune from congressional subpoenas.

The House sued in federal court to get the subpoena enforced and a district court judge sided against the president in November, ruling that the president and his close advisers have no such immunity from congressional subpoenas.

McGahn, represented by the Department of Justice, appealed the decision and a three-judge D.C. Circuit panel ruled 2-1 that the House had no standing to sue.

The House then asked the full D.C. Circuit to rehear the case, arguing that the panel's decision would seriously damage Congress's ability to conduct oversight of the executive branch.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) applauded the ruling, saying that it "strikes a blow against the wall of impunity that President Trump has tried to build for himself."

“Today’s decision is a profound victory for the rule of law and our constitutional system of government," Nadler said in a statement. "The court rejected President Trump’s sweeping claim that Committees of the House have no standing before the courts to seek redress of the institutional injury caused when lawfully issued subpoenas are ignored. Today’s decision confirms the Judiciary’s ability to resolve these disputes."

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) also praised the ruling, calling it "a victory for the rule of law and Congressional oversight."

"The Court reaffirmed our Constitution’s system of checks and balances and rejected the President’s outrageous claim that Congress cannot enforce its subpoenas," she said. "The House will continue to pursue justice until Don McGahn and all Administration officials comply with our rightfully-issued subpoenas. We remain committed to our oversight responsibilities and to our nation’s fundamental principle that no one is above the law – not even the President.”

The ruling, which can be appealed to the Supreme Court, affirms that Congress has the power to investigate the president and his branch of government and holds that the authority is especially important during impeachment proceedings.

"To level the grave accusation that a President may have committed 'Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors,' the House must be appropriately informed," Rogers, who was appointed to the appeals court by former President Clinton, wrote in the opinion. "And it cannot fully inform itself without the power to compel the testimony of those who possess relevant or necessary information."

All seven of the judges in the majority were appointed by Democratic presidents, and both dissenters were appointed by Republicans. Two judges, Gregory Katsas and Neomi Rao, both of whom were appointed by Trump and worked in his White House, recused themselves from the case.

The two judges who dissented — Thomas Griffith and Karen Henderson, both appointed by former President George H.W. Bush — argued in separate opinions that the courts should not be mediating disputes between Congress and the president.

"The majority’s decision will compel us to referee an interminable series of interbranch disputes, politicizing the Judiciary by repeatedly forcing us to take sides between the branches," Griffith wrote. "I cannot join the court’s expedition into an area where we do not belong and can do no good."

While Friday's ruling comes months after the conclusion of the impeachment process, it's a blow to the Trump administration, which has repeatedly argued in an unprecedented number of court battles between the two branches that Congress is limited in the ways it can fight back against the president.

The administration has had a mixed record in its legal battles against efforts to investigate the president. In a 7-2 ruling last month, the Supreme Court rejected Trump's argument that he has absolute immunity concerning a grand jury subpoena for his tax returns issued by the district attorney in Manhattan.

But the same 7-2 majority also dealt a setback to congressional subpoenas for Trump's financial records, ruling that the courts must carefully balance the interests of the two branches when faced with such disputes.

Though the high court ruled on the legal merits of those congressional subpoenas, it has yet to consider whether Congress actually has standing to enforce its investigative demands in the courts.

DeAndree Watson Is Extracted From Humanity

It is devastating when the people you care about are extracted from humanity.

Westland man who took his own life is person of interest in 2 murders

'Heartbroken': Detroit council staffer dead in apparent murder-suicide mourned

DeAndree Watson, 30, pictured with Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. The longtime council policy staffer was found slain in Westland early Sunday.Detroit — City Hall is mourning the loss of a beloved policy staffer with a promising future who was killed on Sunday.

DeAndree Watson, a 30-year-old University of Michigan graduate, was found in his vehicle by Westland police at the Willow Creek Apartments on Fairwood just off Ford Road. Officers had responded to investigate an OnStar panic button notification, authorities said in a news release. Police said Watson was the apparent victim of a homicide.

The investigation led police to a nearby apartment where they discovered a second person, Deontez Jones of Westland, who was dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident remains under investigation, but police note the pair were known associates and the deaths appear to be connected.

Detroit City Council President Brenda Jones said Monday the entire council family is "heartbroken" over the loss.

Watson, who was headed to the University of Michigan Law School this fall, she said, was a "legislative genius with a bright future ahead of him."

The Detroiter spent eight years working for the office of Detroit Council member James Tate as a policy analyst, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Jones, in a statement on Facebook, said Watson stood out for his activism and deep connection with city communities. He also helped oversee the drafting and implementation of the city's medical and recreational marijuana ordinances and management of the council's Planning and Economic Development subcommittee, Jones noted.

"He was a fair, diplomatic and caring individual with a love for the people of Detroit and public service," Jones wrote. "He could have been president one day."

Tate said Watson was "dynamic" and "dogged with details," aiding not just Tate's office but all council members as a go-to resource for policy-related advice.

The Cass Technical High School student body leader and graduate ascended in his policy position within Detroit city government. He began as a council intern and quickly made a name for himself, Tate said.

"You name it, he just always rose to leadership positions. Those around him realized he was the best fit to lead," said Tate, who added that he considered Watson like family. "He realized through policy you can truly make a change in society. That's really what he dedicated his life to."

Watson was engaging with community groups and youth, Tate said. He took a special interest in working with and encouraging youth who had come into contact with the criminal justice system so they could get on the right path.

Watson was recently accepted at UM's law school and was set this fall to attend the program in Ann Arbor. Tate said criminal justice was Watson's passion. He wanted to reduce the "school-to-prison pipeline" and ensure those who came into contact with the criminal justice system were treated fairly and given a chance for a positive transformation.

"It wasn't uncommon to see him at a youth detention center where he was sharing experiences with young people who were detained," Tate said. "He did that quite often, with no pay, as a volunteer. He found a group and started working with them and really took pride in it."

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan expressed shock and deep sadness Monday over Watson's death.

"DeAndree was one of Detroit’s rising leaders with a deep commitment to public service and the city he called home," the mayor said in a social media post.

An outpouring of friends, colleagues and family flooded his Facebook page Monday with condolences, photographs, videos and memories.

Among them was former state Rep. Fred Durhal III, D-Detroit, who met Watson in 2011 when Watson, then UM student body president, introduced President Barack Obama, who had appeared there to deliver a speech.

Afterward, Durhal said, Watson joined the campaign of Durhal's father, Fred Durhal Jr., when he made a 2013 bid for Detroit mayor. Instantly, Durhal III said, "DeAndree just became family."

"He became like a brother and just was very sharp. He had great political instincts," Durhal told The News on Monday.

Later, when Durhal III launched his own campaign for state representative in 2014, Watson took on a role as an "invaluable" field organizer and a volunteer. Durhal was elected in November 2014, serving the state's 5th District.

Durhal joked that Watson would affectionately refer to him as "Baby Fred," because "I was just like my dad."

Watson, Durhal said, was "always there" at every campaign kickoff, fundraiser and big event, even during Durhal's unsuccessful bid for Senate in 2018.

"He was just that thoughtful," said Durhal, who now works for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, and, just months ago, had talked with Watson about arranging a meeting to discuss housing.

Durhal noted Watson was a "true public servant." He recalls asking Watson one day what his path was and what he wanted to become. Watson answered that he "could be president of the United States," Durhal said, and "I believed him."

"He always chose to excel and wanted to give back to where he came from," Durhal said. "This guy was full-steam ahead. He's gone way too soon. It tears me to pieces."

DOJ: Solicitor General Noel Francisco Announces Departure from Department of Justice

Either Noel Fransico is going to stand up and bear witness to the war crimes of gerrymandering, or rather stealin' the children, land & vote in his JonesDay stint with Kevyn Orr, as the first Emergency Manager transposable model for the Privateers to invade and conquer the United States, or he shall take his role as a co-conspiritor in the planned and coordinated attack on Michigan Government, by advocating for that fake ass Detroit Bankruptcy, where everyone who was swagging a cross around their necks got settlement for some fake ass debt against the City of Detroit by getting settlement in quiet title properties, stolen, through fake ass Rock Financial, et al, Corporate Shape Shifters through the Perkins Coie Sucks Detroit Land Bank Authority, which is was the *russian/israeli/ukrainian* election interference because they money launder through child welfare organizations to fund political campaigns.

Boo Boo Barr still does not get the fact that you cannot promulgate, on behalf of foreign operatives who wish to overthrow the United States, the privatization of our children, land and vote with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, under the guise of what these "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) are cloaking as Corporate Parental Rights, or rather the residuals of the peculiar institutions, because institutions are corporations, where, corporations are people, and, as such, demand parental rights, under another one of their fake ass laws they want to lube up with prolifer propaganda, slither into existence, for the purposes of fraudulently billing Medicaid, in furtherance of the best interests of the child, because children are chattel, legally acquired through default asset forfeiture laws for hailing from the population of "The Poors" (always said with clinched teeth) when it comes to maximizing profits through trafficking tiny humans, and their souls, through the children's trusts.

Solicitor General of the United States Noel Francisco announces his departure from the Department of Justice, effective as of July 3, 2020.
“Solicitor General Noel Francisco has represented the United States superbly before the Supreme Court for the past three Terms,” said Attorney General William P. Barr.  Boo Boo Barr lies because Noel was mean to my Sweetie. “Arguing before the Court 17 times on behalf of the federal government, he has been a principled and persuasive advocate on issues ranging from the separation of powers to religious liberty to vigorous enforcement of federal immigration law.  His skilled advocacy has been instrumental to historic victories on behalf of the President’s national security authority, the free speech rights of public employees, and property owners’ access to federal courts, among many other significant accomplishments.  Away from the courtroom, he has been a steady and respected leader for the Office of the Solicitor General, a wise counselor to me and others in the Executive Branch, and a good friend.  I am grateful for his tireless service to his country and the Department of Justice, and I wish him well in his future endeavors.”
“It has been the honor of my professional career to serve as the Solicitor General of the United States,” said Solicitor General Noel Francisco.  “Representing the United States before the Supreme Court is one of the greatest jobs in the law and an opportunity for which I am deeply grateful.  I am proud of the significant success the Office of Solicitor General has had in advancing the rule of law of in our great nation alongside the dedicated men and women at the Department of Justice — some of the finest lawyers I have known.”
Since his appointment in 2017, Noel Francisco has served over three Supreme Court Terms as Solicitor General and has represented the United States before the nation’s highest court in more than 150 merit cases.
Under Solicitor General Francisco’s leadership, the United States consistently and successfully advocated in support of our nation’s core Constitutional principles including religious liberty, separation of powers, first amendment freedoms and enforcement of immigration laws.  Over the course of his impressive tenure as Solicitor General, Francisco argued before the Supreme Court 17 times.  Significant victories include:
  • Trump v. Hawaii: upholding the President’s restrictions on travel from countries that present national-security risks.
  • Janus v. AFSCME: holding that the First Amendment prohibits requiring public employees who decline to join a union to pay union dues (overruling a 1977 decision, Abood v. Detroit Bd. of Education).
  • Kisor v. Wilkie: significantly limiting judicial deference to agency interpretations of their own regulations while retaining such deference in core applications.
  • Knick v. Township of Scott:  allowing property owners to bring claims for government takings in federal court without first suing in state court (overruling a 1985 decision, Williamson County Regional Planning Comm’n v. Hamilton Bank). Gerrymandering
  • Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Comm’n: concluding that Colorado violated the Free Exercise Clause in enforcing its antidiscrimination law against a baker who declined on religious grounds to create a custom cake for a same-sex wedding.  Corporate Parental Rights
In overseeing federal litigation, Solicitor General Francisco made strategic use of emergency motions to defend important federal programs against improper nationwide injunctions.  To that end, the government obtained relief from the Supreme Court on major immigration initiatives, including the travel proclamation, restrictions on asylum abuses, allocation of funds to build a border wall, and revisions to the definition of a public charge.  As a result of these successes, some lower courts have begun to curb the erroneous use of nationwide injunctions.
The Office of the Solicitor General and entire Department of Justice thank Solicitor General Francisco’s service and leadership.

Jordan Chariton Should Tell HIs Flint Water Crisis Tale To The FBI

This is Jordan Chariton.

Jordan lies.

I think Richard Baird paid him and his friends to lie.

How do I know Jordan lies?

Well, he did not mention Andy Arena.

He did not mention U.S. House Judiciary and its Oversight Committee referrals to DOJ for investigation.

Jordan did not mention Dana Nessel.

Jordan did not mention SIGTARP.

Jordan did not mention the secret medical program, which is called Medicaid.

Jordan did not mention the Madame Maura Corrigan, (said in a high British accent).

Jordan poorly attempted to speak upon privatization, which means he is part of that crew of Trollie Trolls who like to forage through my archives, because he lacks any form of understanding or sophistication of the concept, beyond seeing it on my blog.

Jordan did not #sayhisname.

Jordan did not say my name.

Jordan did not say Mona Hanna-Attisha's name.

Jordan did not talk about the children of Flint, or the fact that the children are being used as lab rats.

Jordan did not mention General Motors.

Jordan does not speak of the KWA pipeline or the superseding international and federal Detroit investigations of the Carlyle Group.

Jordan did not mention the Genesee County Land Bank.

Jordan did not mention gerrymandering.

Jordan did not mention Epstein.

Jordan did not mention the Flint Children's Trust Funds, Sparrow Hospital, or MSU.

I think this is why no one wants to pick up his work, but, hey, what do I know?

I know Jordan should contact the FBI, since he claims, without any oath, filed in the Great Repository of any Secretary of State or with the right to bear the arms of Great Seal of he U.S. to know what is going on in Flint.

Perhaps, someone already has, but he just does not know that we are all listening, and watching him, lie.

Tales Of The New Crown: Flint Goes On Mandatory Curfew, Mona Attisha Gets The Cooties From Her MSU Wuhan Trafficking Tiny Humans Blood COVID19 Research & JonesDay Invests In The Testing

Have you seen Maura Corrigan?
I really do not understand why there is so much false information floating around the internet when it comes to the Cooties, more recognized as, COVID19, the coronavirus.

It always starts with the children.

They used the children of Flint as lab rats.

The Clinton Sparrow Hospital was running lots of trafficking tiny humans operations in blood transfers for, of all things, COVID19 research, under the aegis of JonesDay.

Yes, the same JonesDay that ran the Michigan Emergency Manager Law, for the Detroit Bankruptcy and the Flint Water Crisis with Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr.

Yes, the same JonesDay, where Don McGahn does not want to come out from hiding, whether by subpoena or not.

He may just get the Cootie Death Grip.

Yes, the same JonesDay that is running Trump's FEC political campaign committee.

No wonder why Emergency Manager Emperor Pence & His Procurement Consortia Task Force wants to push testing.

They will be maximizing revenues in Medicaid Fraud in Child Welfare through the Children's Trust Funds.

The Flint Water Crisis was planned.

Where is Maura Corrigan?

Now, I know why testing, first in the nation is starting in Detroit and Flint.

City of Flint instituting curfew beginning Thursday evening

FLINT (WJRT) (4/1/2020) - Flint residents will be under a mandatory curfew beginning Thursday night as the city continues dealing with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The curfew will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the next 30 days -- through the month of April. Stores, pharmacies and most other businesses will be closed by 9 p.m., when the curfew starts.

Violations will be considered a misdemeanor, which is punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a $500 fine.

"This is real, ladies and gentlemen," Mayor Sheldon Neeley said. "This is about enacting proactive solutions and protecting life."

Anyone providing or obtaining essential services are exempt from the curfew. Neeley said the definition of "essential" will follow Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" order issued March 23.

He said Flint has to step up its efforts as the pandemic continues spreading. Neeley said the next two weeks are critical in Michigan's and the nation's fight against coronavirus.

The pandemic is expected to peak sometime in the month of April, but the number of deaths and new cases in Genesee County continues rising. Genesee County went from no cases two weeks ago to nearly 250 on Wednesday.

"We must remain vigilant," Neeley said. "We must remain proactive with our stance."

He said Michigan's stay home order involves self-governance, but it's not working. Flint officials are receiving reports of people congregating in parking lots after dark, which violates the order, Neeley said.

He promised "a real level of enforcement" at convenience stores and other areas where people have been gathering after dark.

"That is not acceptable. We have to take this serious," he said. "We need to curtail those places that the virus could spread."

Neeley also announced that bottled water deliveries will begin next week thanks to a larger donation from Nestle Waters North America. Anyone who needs water can apply by calling 810-410-2020.

Several churches are assisting the city with restarting home delivery of bottled water.

Mona Hanna-Attisha & Darlene King
Michigan State University Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha announced Thursday on Twitter that she has COVID-19 —  and took the opportunity to encourage those who have recovered from the virus to potentially help others.

"I tested positive. I'm doing fine," tweeted Hanna-Attisha, a pediatrician who helped uncover the Flint water crisis.

Hanna-Attisha added: "If you are recovering, consider donating your plasma. I just signed up." She ended her tweet with the following hashtags: #StayTheFHome #ICantSmellAnything

Her call for plasma donors refers to researchers and physicians who are recruiting COVID-19 survivors to help in the potential recovery of virus patients with especially dire symptoms. Medical experts hope to use the antibodies from donors to help those who are very sick.

The effort is part of the National Convalescent Plasma Project, made up of physicians and scientists from 34 institutions in 17 states, including Michigan State.

This treatment has been used in the past to treat H1N1, SARS, Middle East Repiratory Syndrome and Spanish flu. The move comes after the FDA approved the expedited use of what is known as convalescent plasma on March 25.

Tales Of The New Crown: Toronto Fires Its Emergency Manager - Michigan Did Not Take Notes

How is it the City of Toronto established an administrative structure to be able to remove an Emergency Manager?

Detroit, Flint, Hamtramck and Benton Harbor could not fire their Emergency Managers, but then again, we would have to ask Don McGahn about how the Michigan Emergency Law came into existence, since no one wants to recognize his dedicated passion in the identification of the need for Detroit to file bankruptcy, in the first place.

We can not ask Travis Weber about Don McGahn's work at JonesDay with Kevyn Orr or Bill Schuette, but we could ask Richard Baird because Travis is no longer viable to give testimony.

Michigan should take notes.

Jansen said he was relieved of his duties on Wednesday by a deputy city manager and human resources official, who told him the city is taking the office in “a different direction” and that they were worried Jansen “might not be the right fit.”

The decision to replace Toronto’s top emergency official just as Ontario declares a state of emergency because of a major pandemic will be cause for public concern.

“I’m devastated,” Jansen said in an interview. “It was, for me, what I thought was the perfect calling.”

Jansen said no conflict had occurred, other than perhaps in terms of strategic vision, because he is a lifelong military man among city bureaucrats.

The dismissal is within a six-month probationary period that started when Jansen was hired in October, he said.

“I’m still debating about whether I believe the terms are fair or not,” he said.

He described guiding the city’s concepts and specific plans for emergency management, said he enjoyed the work, and believed it had been going well before the pandemic began. One of his first major incidents to manage was a high-rise fire that displaced residents last November.

Jansen was until last year director of 4th Canadian Division Headquarters in Toronto, after serving in finance and operations roles in the Canadian Armed Forces. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2007 to 2009 in a logistical role.

The City of Toronto said it does not discuss personnel matters, and said the Office of Emergency Management has been led since the onset of COVID-19 by Fire Chief Matthew Pegg.

The Tale Of The New Crown: Emergency Manager Emperor Pence, Michigan Governor Whitmer & Their Magical Procurement Task Forces

What about money?

Do you know where that dollar bill has been?

What about the looming Detroit Water shutoffs?

What about the children, who seem to be "carriers".

Does CPS come in with their latest and greatest pitches for programs?

Where's the data?

What about my two cents?

This is about Parental Rights because this is about the entire concept of the Emergency Manager.

This is what they did to Detroit and Flint, and many more places in Michigan, where the Emergency Manager all began.

Whitmer creates 4 task forces to combat spread of coronavirus in Michigan

(FOX 2) - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has created multiple task forces to help fight the potential spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 in Michigan.

Right now there are no confirmed coronavirus cases in Michigan, but cases are starting to spread in the United States and multiple people have already died.

Gov. Whitmer's four task forces include one on state operations, one on health and human services, one on education, and the final on the economy and workforce. The task forces will include key state government agencies, who will work closely with the appropriate community and non-governmental stakeholders.

The task force on state operations will cover all aspects of state operations, including employment and facilities.

The task force on health and human services will cover the provision of medical and human services, including protecting the healthcare workforce.

The task force on education will cover K-12 public schools and universities and colleges.

And the task force on economy and workforce will cover general economic impact, workforce, supply chain, business continuity, and related issues.

“While there have been no confirmed cases in Michigan yet, we must recognize that this virus has the potential to impact nearly every aspect of our lives,” said Governor Whitmer. “From our public schools, colleges, and universities to our businesses and hospitals, we must harness all of the resources we have to ensure we can prevent the spread of coronavirus and keep Michiganders safe. This is a strong, smart team that will make protecting our public health their number one priority and work closely with me to protect the people of our state.”

RELATED: Don't panic, but be prepared: Coronavirus 101 for Michiganders

On Friday, February 28, Whitmer activated the State Emergency Operations Center to maximize coordination with state, local and federal agencies, as well as private partners, and to help prevent the spread of the disease. Since then, the administration has been working with schools, businesses, medical providers, and local health departments to make sure they have the information they need to prepare for potential cases.

COVID-19 has been identified as the cause of an outbreak of respiratory illness first detected in Wuhan City in the Hubei Province of China. As of March 3, there were over 91,313 cases globally with over 3,000 deaths.

Person-to-person spread of the virus has occurred in the U.S., with some of those occurring in people with no travel history and no known source of exposure.

For the general American public, who are unlikely to be exposed to this virus at this time, the immediate health risk from COVID-19 is considered low. People in communities where ongoing community spread with the virus that causes COVID-19 has been reported are at elevated though still relatively low risk of exposure.

Patients with confirmed infection have reportedly had mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath.

The best prevention for viruses, such as influenza, the common cold or COVID-19 is to wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds. If not available, use hand sanitizer.

Also avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or upper sleeve when coughing or sneezing.

Avoid contact with people who are sick - and if you are sick, stay home and avoid contact with others.

Information around this outbreak is changing rapidly. The latest information is available at Michigan.gov/Coronavirus and CDC.gov/Coronavirus.

Trump Names Emperor Pence As Corona Emergency Manager Czar - Just Like Snyder Named Kevyn Orr

We still do not have Emperor Pence's emails from Indiana, just like we do not have Bill Schuette's emails, but, then again, it probably has something to do with emergency manager privatization powers of maximizing revenues,and/or trafficking tiny humans, but, hey, what do I know?

I know Emperor Pence appointed Debbie Brix.

Meet Debbie Brix:
Deborah L. Birx official photo.jpg
Debbie Brix
Birx served as a physician in the United States Army, rising to the rank of colonel[4] before she retired from military service. She started her career with the United States Department of Defense as a clinician in immunology, focusing on HIV/AIDS vaccine research. She then served as an Assistant Chief of the Hospital Immunology Service at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1985 to 1989. In 1996, she became the Director of the United States Military HIV Research Program at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, a role she held until 2005.[5]
From 2005 to 2014, Birx served as the director of CDC's Division of Global HIV/AIDS (DGHA), which is part of the agency's Center for Global Health.[6]
She was nominated by President Barack Obama as United States Global AIDS Coordinator and confirmed by the Senate; she was sworn in April 4, 2014.[7] In her role as ambassador she has led the organization to meet the HIV prevention and treatment targets set by Obama in 2015 with the goal of ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030.[8] She says that PEPFAR has cut pediatric HIV infection rates by 50 percent in several African countries.[9]
On February 27, 2020, Vice President Mike Pence named Ambassador Birx as the coronavirus (COVID-19) response coordinator for the White House.[1]

I also know that much of these emergency manager czar activities are going to be contracted out for "job creation" purposes of revenue maximizaition, probably through their children's trust funds.

It seems there is a push to repurpose HIV warehoused drugs for COVID-19, more affectionately called Coronavirus.

Pence Panned As Corona Czar-Adds Physician Debbie Birx To Team

Pence needs to learn and model good hygiene to prevent infection. This isn't it.

Pence needs to learn and model good hygiene to prevent infection. This isn't it.
Tissues are one of the great American innovations to stop
spreading the flu.
As an infectious disease physician, I (and many others) was shocked at last night’s announcement that Vice President Mike Pence was appointed to oversee the Coronavirus-19 (COVID19) response. There are a number of reasons why.

First, while the President cited Pence’s experience with healthcare as Governor of Indiana, he was widely criticized by the infectious disease community, particularly for his response to opioid use and HIV.

HIV: In Indiana, Pence was instrumental in fueling an HIV epidemic. In tiny Austin, Indiana (pop. 4200), Planned Parenthood, the only place where people could get HIV testing, was defunded. Combine that with poverty, high unemployment and drug use, and the town had over 150 cases of HIV. This prompted then CDC Director Tom Frieden to note that Austin now has a higher incidence of HIV than "any country in sub-Saharan Africa… They've had more people infected with HIV through injection drug use than in all of New York City last year." Many were coinfected with Hepatitis B and/or Hepatitis C (HCV), causing further illness and costly treatment. In fact, in the U.S., 50-80% of people with IV drug use  become infected with HCV within 6-12 months of starting injecting drug use, all avoidable with needle exchanges.

Pence was adamantly opposed to needle exchanges, although they are of proven public health benefit and efficacy in reducing these infections which can be transmitted sexually or by shared needles. Two months after the outbreak was detected, Pence said he would “pray on it.” Because of the HIV epidemic, Pence reluctantly agreed to allow needle exchanges—but only briefly and only in that county. The Chicago Tribune’s David Rutter (@theeditor50) concluded: “The public's HIV treatment bill for Austin will run $200 million once the epidemic peaks—at least $1 million to save each uninsured patient, say health experts...It's the price of inattention and indifference.”

Public Health:

Here, too, Governor Pence was known for cutting funding for the state’s public health departments. Indiana spent $12.40 per person on public health, compared to $220 for West Virginia. As a member of Congress, Pence also voted against the State Children’s Health Insurance Program although he professes belief in “the sanctity of life.”

```````````````
The one thing I do know is that formal protocol has been tossed out the window when it comes to governmental action, which sounds like privatizaiton through foreign corporations, just like they did, and are still doing in Michigan.
Here, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is taking unilateral action, all by herself to manage the emergency of coronavirus, unless she was advised, but, hey, what do I know?
I know Matt Whitaker is talking about National Emergency Powers.
And, here is the first State emergency takeover in the appointment by the Governor of an Emergency Manager Czar for the City of Detroit, Kevyn Orr.
Detroit Sues Top Slumlords, Except The Detroit Land Bank Authority
Hmmmm.......
If City of Detroit Corporate Counsel, Larry Garcia is suing the top three Detroit landlords for blight and health hazards; where the Detroit Land Bank Authority is the largest Detroit property owner; then, how come the Detroit Land Bank Authority is not named in this action?
Oh, wait, I know!
If Larry names the Detroit Land Bank Authority, as a party to the action, then, that would mean that the Detroit Land Bank Authority is not a part of the City of Detroit, meaning it is a private operation, and, as such, would have to provide its corporate parent disclosures and instruments of authority, of which was dissolved by Bill Schutte, some time back, in the State Court of Claims, when he has his legal lackey enter into the record that I was a public nuisance.
Uh, oh.
I, also, seem to recall that Carmack case, that is coming up relatively soon for trial, where no one wants to talk about the Detroit Land Bank Authority being in that chain of command of the deed to the property Larry is claiming was stolen from the City, when there has yet to be an explanation of how the Detroit Land Bank Authority acquired the property, in the first place, considering that it was never incorporated, despite Janice Winfrey taking it upon herself to declare incorporation, because she is almighty and stuff, because someone from JonesDay told her so.
But, then again, it could have been someone from Perkins Coie Sucks, or both.
Hey, what do I know?
I know if Larry is not going to go after the largest blight owner in the City of Detroit, that made itself a creditor in the Detroit Bankruptcy, by settling fake ass debts with properties that were fraudulently foreclosed upon, through fake taxes, where the Detroit Land Bank Authority has a history of levying fake ass taxes with their fake ass, made up powers of authority, because it never incorporated, and pilfered all the Hardest Hit Funds out the country into their own personal ventures through children's trust funds, to run back into the U.S. to fund political campaigns, because, if he did, he is going to have to do battle with Butch Hollowell and the lot.
If I had the energy, I would file to intervene, just because Larry is not going after the Detroit Land Bank Authority, but I will not, simply for the fact that I know how this is going to end.
Detroit sues landlords for blight and health hazards
DETROIT (FOX 2) - The city of Detroit is suing three notorious landlords for neglect, blight and health hazards.
Detroit says the property owners might have 1,000 properties combined all across the city.
City of Detroit goes after slum lords with lawsuits
The city of Detroit is suing three notorious landlords for neglect, blight and health hazards
FOX 2 went to look at three properties on the list filed in Wayne County Circuit Court against Steve and Stephen Hagerman a father and son team, Salameh Jaser and Michael Kelly.
They have earned a title from the city we're sure they don't want - some of the city's most notorious speculators and slumlords.
FOX 2 tried to track them down, stopping at Michael Kelly's office Friday. So far we haven't been able to reach them for comment.
The city says it took legal action because according to them, these folks buy up a bunch of properties and rent them out - even though they were never brought up to code.
They are dilapidated homes that often have serious and terrible health and safety risks like peeling lead paint. The city says the folks above have piles of tickets for not following the rules, and this is a new approach.
"This is a new tactic to attack a business model that is particularly pernicious," said Lawrence Garcia, Detroit city attorney.
Pernicious because they invest and neglect - but in some cases the properties are vacant.
"The notion of a public nuisance, the notion that these properties present an unreasonable danger to the public grossly - I think that is an idea whose time has come."
In the lawsuits the city asks the court to declare the business model a public nuisance and make owners keep their properties up, stopping them from buying more properties until they get their act together.
Gretchen Whitmer Speaks About Cloaking Public Corruption To The DEC
I do not believe Gretch knows about the origins of the Detroit Economic Club, but it is probably because she is all up in it.
Stealin' The Children, Land & Votes - The Michigan Health Endowment Fund, Detroit Land Bank Authority & Detroit Economic Club
Gretch pitches Public Private Partnerships to fix the roads, but the kids get left on the side of the roads because pumping more money into Social Impact Bond school programs does absolutely nothing for the kids who are homeless, trying to go to school, working, living in a homeless shelter, with children, desperately hoping CPS does not take custody.
Yes, an extra $250 a student will do nothing about successfully completing a jacked up tech based school program, that was never designed for a population of children who have survived a life of traumatic stress in the child welfare system.
Students do not need school supplies.
They need homes and families, but that will never happen, because if you addressed the pervasive public corruption in Detroit, you will find that legacies will no longer be stolen, poverty will end, and, as a result, children will become successful in school.
Gretch should come down to one of the homeless schools for Detroit kids and try to pitch her "wraparound services" that only exist on paper.
Why is Gretch supporting Duggan's infant mortality initiatives?
No, seriously.  Why?
Perhaps, Gretch should learn about the creation of the DEC, and its operations, to understand that the property taxes in Detroit are fake and the properties were stolen, specifically focusing on the fake ass Detroit Land Bank Authority.
Detroit homeowners overtaxed $600 million
Gretch knows what is going on with the Detroit Land Bank Authority, et al, because it is all public information, yet she blatantly ignores these crimes against humanity, because her name is being tossed around to run for a higher office.
Gretch reminds me of that type of individual who would sell out for the fame and glory of elected office, simply for the fact that she sees nothing wrong in being a co-conspirator in covering up the foreign invasion of Michigan, which started in Detroit.
Is Gretch compromised, morally incompetent, or just plain dumb?
Thank goodness she is not duly elected, otherwise, all her executive cloaking would not be able to be nullified.
Whitmer: Democratic nomination system 'ripe for change' after Iowa troubles
Governor Whitmer proposing $15.9 billion for school aid fund
(WPBN/WGTU) -- Governor Gretchen Whitmer's proposed budget for 2021 calls for $15.9 billion for the school aid fund.
That's a 4.9 percent increase from last year's budget.
"There have been two or three studies that have been done that continue to say we're underfunding public education in Michigan and I think this continues to move us a little bit forward to taking care of that," said Christopher Parker, the Superintendent for Petoskey Public Schools.
When it comes to per pupil base funding, the governor is proposing a $150 increase for higher funded districts and a $225 increase for lower funded districts.
That would reduce the gap between the highest and lowest funded districts to $343 per pupil.
"For the Kalkaska School district it's definitely a plus. It looks like we could get up to $225 a student," said Lee Sandy, the interim Superintendent for Kalkaska Public Schools.
"New books, new materials, calculators, rulers, pens all the supplies and materials and those types of things, said Parker when asked about what additional funding could mean for Petoskey Public Schools. "New curriculum that's updated so our teachers have the best technology, the best books."
Special Education Services are also prioritized in Governor Whitmer's proposed budget.
The 2021 school aid fund calls for $60 million in additional funding for those services.
It also calls for $60 million in additional funding for services to help academically at-risk students and economically disadvantaged students.
Early childhood education is also part of the proposal with $42 million of new funding set aside for preschool.
"We need to get more money to the preschool programs so kids come to us better prepared for school," said Sandy.
The proposed budget also calls for giving each teacher $250 to buy school supplies.
"We have lots of teachers that buy lots of supplies," said Sandy. "And sometimes it's stuff that you would never suspect with some needy kids who need things besides just schools supplies it may be clothing it may be sometimes snacks, incentives to do better," said Sandy.
Overall both Parker and Sandy say the school aid fund portion of the budget looks promising.
"There's a lot that goes into educating the K-12 student, teachers are working really hard, there's a lot of great things happening in K-12 schools it's refreshing to see that the governor is recognizing that how important that is," said Parker.
Governor Whitmer is also proposing $40 million in grants for school infrastructure.
That grant money could be used for new air or water filters or to get rid of lead and asbestos.
JUDICIARY: Request To Expedite A Hearing Of John McGahn So They Do Not Have To #sayhisname
Did someone say Michigan Emergency Manager, yet?
I was too busy popping popcorn.
I want to be comfy when Kevyn Orr comes crawling from underneath his Jones Day rock for Don McGahn.
#sayhisname
Washington, D.C.
 – Today, the House Judiciary Committee filed a motion to expedite the ruling in the lawsuit to compel former White House Counsel Don McGahn to testify before the Committee as part of its impeachment investigation into obstruction, corruption and abuse of power by President Donald Trump and his associates.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) released the following statement:
“As the Committee moves forward with its efforts to determine whether to recommend articles of impeachment against the President, we will do everything in our power to hear from those who directly witnessed President Trump’s crimes outlined in Special Counsel Mueller’s report. We have made clear that Don McGahn’s testimony is the most crucial because of his central role in witnessing the President’s multiple acts of obstruction of justice.
“President Trump and the White House have repeatedly blocked witnesses from complying with Committee subpoenas and documents and continue to attempt to stall progress in the courts.  We are aware of this strategy to prevent Congress and the American people from hearing the truth about Trump’s obstruction which is why expediting Mr. McGahn’s testimony is so very important. We look forward to the Judge considering our request.”
  • McGahn is the Committee’s most critical witness.
  • McGahn’s refusal to testify is depriving the Committee of a witness and information that are essential to its investigation, thereby impeding its ability to exercise its essential Article I functions. That includes the most urgent duty the legislative branch can face: determining whether to recommend articles of impeachment.
  • The day before McGahn’s required appearance before this Committee, pursuant to the subpoena at issue in this litigation, the White House purportedly directed McGahn not to appear on the basis of so-called “absolute immunity” from compelled testimony.  Although that claim has no basis in law and has never been accepted by any court, McGahn refused to appear before this Committee as required by his subpoena.
