Tales Of The New Crown: Congress Want To Change Voting Rights Law By Proxy But Ignores AI

Yes, that is correct.

Democratic Members of Congress want to change the laws on Voting Rights for Members of Congress by introducing a new rule for proxy voting by proxy voting.

The Roach I Wish To Stomp, Donna Shalala, is talking about saving lives.

Mostly Republican membership showed up to vote on the Democratic $3 trillion bill, where the Democrats refuse to show up for fear of arrest.

Yes, this is what they are discussing, a constitutional crisis because the Democrats want to vote by proxy.

Now, what that proxy is, is left to your imagination because no one knows how they are rewriting voting rights and here is the case that initiated the stripping of voting rights from congress.

So, the legislation gives members of congress the powers to vote by proxy, where they can represent 10 proxy votes of other members.

What about a livestream vote, because it does come with lots and lots of certifications and timestamps, you know?

The livestream can even have a network of all the registered constituents, who take oaths in the act of grievances, as verified sources, you know, like they do with the twat blue checkmark.

This is not that difficult, but, when you are dealing with the fact that Obamagate is about to come out to make your worst nightmares the only thing left you have to cling onto, you typically start to lose command of bodily functions, whereby, you rightfully give tribute to more cooties money, in a series of distractionary legislative tributes to your handlers, in hopes that you retain your freedom, just one more day.

The last time I checked you have to be an attorney to represent someone from congress, with consent and advise from congress.

These people are discussing about members need to pay back part of their salaries if they live in their offices but not about the members who are engaging in lucrative stock trades like Richard Burr.

Richard Burr: Senate intelligence chief steps down for FBI probe

It seems Ethics Committee may have its functions halted.

Yes, it is about time Congress, and the other two branches of government enter the 21st Century because it is woefully arcane when it comes to its functioning.

You should see some of the Windows 98 systems still up there.

So, as this hot mess of a constitutional crisis continues to escalate for our birthdays week, I just would like to put it out there that I have already developed and launched the new congressional office IT model, all run from your handheld device, or desktop for those hard core keyboard constituent warriors, with lots of pretty data stuff so we can all enjoy life, like we were born to do

(ii) ADOPTION TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER.—For purposes of clause 6 (i), in the case of a qualifying child who is adopted or placed for adoption (Foster Care), the term ″valid identification number″ shall include the adoption taxpayer identification number of such child.

Children in Foster Care or under the legal aegis of the State or a private, foreign corporation, by law, do not get a penny.

Just as a side note, Lesko has some serious trafficking tiny human issues going on, which is why she is pushing the prolife covert legislation.

Reps. Andy Biggs, Debbie Lesko oppose releasing full Mueller report to Congress

Just vote so we can get some blockchain because this is all just a hot mess.

We are in Detroit.

Let the countdown commence.

"Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) Report On How Putin Tricked Blacks To Vote For Trump In Detroit

Behold, another analytical findings report by those "Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) on why Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election.

FINDINGS: "THE RUSSIANS MADE THE BLACK PEOPLE DO IT".

Yup.

Here is the link to the Internet Research Agency report submitted to U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence explaining how Trump won the election.

I would have posted but for some odd reason this public document submitted into the Senate record seems to be privately locked.

Things that just make you go "hmmmmmm......"

https://int.nyt.com/data/documenthelper/533-read-report-internet-research-agency/7871ea6d5b7bedafbf19/optimized/full.pdf#page=1

Yup.

They know everything about making Black people vote in Detroit!

Upon request by the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), New Knowledge reviewed an expansive data set of social media posts and metadata provided to SSCI by Facebook, Twitter, and Alphabet, plus a set of related data from additional platforms. The data sets were provided by the three primary platforms to serve as evidence for an investigation into the Internet Research Agency (IRA) influence operations. (your tax dollars at work).
Yup.

I bet they used that highly sophisticated Brown Paper Bag test or the One-Drop Rule.

Cyber-evidence of Russian mind control

findings of 2016 election interference
targeting Blacks
Hillary Clinton lost the election because these "Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) figured out all by themselves how Trump won the election because "The Poors of the darker persuasion"" (always said with clinched teeth) got all mezmerized and stuff with all that fancy psyops crap on social media to vote for Trump.

Yup.

All Blacks changed their votes to Trump because Boris & Natasia made some really, intensely, philosophically deep memes.

"Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) know everything about Blacks because they live in the Sequestered Ivory Tower up there in Uber Rich Man's Land and came down to hand out to "The Elected Ones" these sheep dipped talking points for the upcoming legal actions under the Office of Special Counsel.

Yup.

Just listen to Michigan State Senator Marty Knollengerg because he knows everything about how "The Poors of the darker persuasion"" (always said with clinched teeth) cannot learn stuff.

#KnollenbergIsAnAsshole.

Yup.

I bet those  "Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) gave Marty those privatized scientific research campaign talking points to go along with his campaign financing.

Even the New York Times got those  "Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) talking points.

Yup.

And that is the story of how Trump won the election, told by the  "Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) which completely contradicts the tale told by the Celestial Goddess of the Woodshed.

Yup.

The "Cybersecurity Gurus" (a.k.a. Super Smarty Pants) know everything about those Blacks.

Even Detroit's own Nolan Finley will tell you the same thing about those targeted African-American voting populations because he knows everything, too!

Yup.

All you had to do is make a meme and the Blacks in Detroit voted for Trump which is how he won the 2016 election.

Russian 2016 Influence Operation Targeted African-Americans on Social Media

The Russian influence campaign on social media in the 2016 election made an extraordinary effort to target African-Americans, used an array of tactics to try to suppress turnout among Democratic voters and unleashed a blizzard of activity on Instagram that rivaled or exceeded its posts on Facebook, according to a report produced for the Senate Intelligence Committee.

The report adds new details to the portrait that has emerged over the last two years of the energy and imagination of the Russian effort to sway American opinion and divide the country, which the authors said continues to this day.

“Active and ongoing interference operations remain on several platforms,” says the report, produced by New Knowledge, a cybersecurity company based in Austin, Tex., along with researchers at Columbia University and Canfield Research LLC. One continuing Russian campaign, for instance, seeks to influence opinion on Syria by promoting Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president and a Russian ally in the brutal conflict there.

The New Knowledge report is one of two commissioned by the Senate committee on a bipartisan
This report on how Blacks voted for Trump
 was funded by the
U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee
basis. They are based largely on data about the Russian operations provided to the Senate by Facebook, Twitter and the other companies whose platforms were used.

The Russian influence campaign in 2016 was run by a St. Petersburg company called the Internet Research Agency, owned by a businessman, Yevgeny V. Prigozhin, who is a close ally of President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia. Mr. Prigozhin and a dozen of the company’s employees were indicted last February as part of the investigation of Russian interference by Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel.

Both reports stress that the Internet Research Agency created social media accounts under fake names on virtually every available platform. A major goal was to support Donald J. Trump, first against his Republican rivals in the presidential race, then in the general election, and as president since his inauguration.

Among the services the Russians have provided Mr. Trump is to join in and amplify his regular attacks on Mr. Mueller. Posing as fed-up Americans, the Internet Research Agency trolls have denounced the investigation of Russian election interference as a “weird conspiracy” pushed only by “liberal crybabies,” the New Knowledge report says.

One Facebook page, called “‘Merican Fury,” declared falsely that Mr. Mueller “worked with radical Islamic groups.” Another, “Back the Badge,” called James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director fired by Mr. Trump, “a dirty cop.”

"Russia made Blacks vote for Trump and
you better believe me or else."
said the Super Smarty Pants.
Creating accounts designed to pass as belonging to Americans, the Internet Research Agency spread its messages not only via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, which have drawn the most attention, but also on YouTube, Reddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, Vine and Google+, among other platforms. Its attack on the United States used almost exclusively high-tech tools created by American companies.

The New Knowledge researchers discovered many examples of the Russian operators building an audience with one theme and then shifting to another, often more provocative, set of messages. For instance, an Instagram account called @army_of_jesus_ first posted in January 2015 images from “The Muppet Show,” then shifted to “The Simpsons” and by early 2016 became Jesus-focused. Multiple memes associated Jesus with Mr. Trump’s campaign and Satan with that of his rival, Hillary Clinton.

The Russian campaign was the subject of Senate hearings last year and has been widely scrutinized by academic experts. The new reports largely confirm earlier findings: that the campaign was designed to attack Mrs. Clinton, boost Mr. Trump and exacerbate existing divisions in American society.

But the New Knowledge report gives particular attention to the Russians’ focus on African-collections of their memes and messages.
"Vote Trump 2016 in Detroit"
(more proof from the Super Smarty Pants
that Russian memes made
Blacks in Detroit vote for Trump in 2016.)
Americans, which is evident to anyone who examines
“The most prolific I.R.A. efforts on Facebook and Instagram specifically targeted black American communities and appear to have been focused on developing black audiences and recruiting black Americans as assets,” the report says. Using Gmail accounts with American-sounding names, the Russians recruited and sometimes paid unwitting American activists of all races to stage rallies and spread content, but there was a disproportionate pursuit of African-Americans, it concludes.

The report says that while “other distinct ethnic and religious groups were the focus of one or two Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts, the black community was targeted extensively with dozens.” In some cases, Facebook ads were targeted at users who had shown interest in particular topics, including black history, the Black Panther Party and Malcolm X. The most popular of the Russian Instagram accounts was @blackstagram, with 303,663 followers.
The Internet Research Agency also created a dozen websites disguised as African-American in origin, with names like blackmattersus.com, blacktivist.info, blacktolive.org and blacksoul.us. On YouTube, the largest share of Russian material covered the Black Lives Matter movement and police brutality, with channels called “Don’t Shoot” and “BlackToLive.”

The report does not seek to explain the heavy focus on African-Americans. But the Internet Research Agency’s tactics echo Soviet propaganda efforts from decades ago that often highlighted racism and racial conflict in the United States, as well as recent Russian influence operations in other countries that sought to stir ethnic strife.

Renee DiResta, one of the report’s authors and director of research at New Knowledge, said the Internet Research Agency “leveraged pre-existing, legitimate grievances wherever they could.” As the election effort geared up, the Black Lives Matter movement was at the center of national attention in the United States, so the Russian operation took advantage of it, she said — and added “Blue Lives Matter” material when a pro-police pushback emerged.

“Very real racial tensions and feelings of alienation exist in America, and have for decades,” Ms. DiResta said. “The I.R.A. didn’t create them. It exploits them.”

"Vote Trump 2016 in Detroit "
Of 81 Facebook pages created by the Internet Research Agency in the Senate’s data, 30 targeted African-American audiences, amassing 1.2 million followers, the report finds. By comparison, 25 pages targeted the political right and drew 1.4 million followers. Just seven pages focused on the political left, drawing 689,045 followers.

In response, the N.A.A.C.P. said it would not use Facebook or Instagram for a week and urged its social media followers and partners to do the same.

While the right-wing pages promoted Mr. Trump’s candidacy, the left-wing pages scorned Mrs. Clinton while promoting Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate. The voter suppression effort was focused particularly on Sanders supporters and African-Americans, urging them to shun Mrs. Clinton in the general election and either vote for Ms. Stein or stay home.

Whether such efforts had a significant effect is difficult to judge. Black voter turnout declined in 2016 for the first time in 20 years in a presidential election, but it is impossible to determine whether that was the result of the Russian campaign.

The New Knowledge report argues that the Internet Research Agency’s presence on Instagram has
been underestimated and may have been as effective or more effective than its Facebook effort. The report says there were 187 million engagements on Instagram — users “liking” or sharing the content created in Russia — compared with 76.5 million engagements on Facebook.
In 2017, as the American news media focused on the Russian operations on Facebook and Twitter, the Russian effort shifted strongly to Instagram, the report says.

The New Knowledge report criticizes social media companies for misleading the public.

“It is unclear whether these answers were the result of faulty
or lacking analysis, or a more deliberate evasion,” the report says
.
“Regrettably, it appears that the platforms may have misrepresented or evaded in some of their statements to Congress,” the report says, noting what it calls one false claim that specific population groups were not targeted by the influence operation and another that the campaign did not seek to discourage voting.

“It is unclear whether these answers were the result of faulty or lacking analysis, or a more deliberate evasion,” the report says.

The report suggests a grudging respect for the scale and creativity of Russian influence operations.

But the Russians were not eager to take credit for their own efforts.

After the election, the report says, the Internet Research Agency put up some 70 posts on Facebook and Instagram that mocked the claims that Russia had interfered in the election.

Obviously,  New Knowledge, researchers at Columbia University and Canfield Research LLC omitted the research of this African-American, Black man from Detroit.

Yup.

Stealin' was one of those variables the report does not like to talk about, either.

Why Nobody Is Investigating Children Who Die In Foster Care

Want to know why nobody is investigating children who die in foster care?

It is the same reasosn nobody is investigating the rapes, tortures, human trafficking and billions and billions in fraud.

As for Senator Burr not supporting the Families First, even though I have my own reservations, counter to his, it is strictly an issue of money.

Ethics Should Ask Senator Richard Burr Why He Withheld His Vote For Foster Care Reform

Privatization does not afford civil rights, which is another reason why nobody is investigating children who die in foster care.

Then, there is the fact that this privatized state contracted corporation is listed on the NYSE.

CIVITAS Solutions: Human Trafficking Listed On NYSE

In short, nobody cares because there is just too much money to be funneled into political campaigns, and invested in social impact bonds.

Children are Dying at Alarming Rates in Foster Care, and Nobody is Bothering to Investigate

CHILDREN IN THE for-profit foster care system are dying at alarming rates, but the deaths are not being investigated, and autopsies are not even being attached to the now-closed case files, a two-year investigation has found. The investigation, conducted and released in rare bipartisan fashion by the Senate Finance Committee, looked closely at one of the largest private providers of foster care services, the MENTOR Network.

The companies and agencies charged with keeping foster children safe often failed to provide the most basic protections or take steps to prevent tragedies, the investigation found.

In the wake of the report, shares of the MENTOR Network’s parent company, Civitas Solutions, traded sharply downward, but quickly rebounded amid a lack of press coverage. Google

By pushing the report to colleagues, Sen. Ron Wyden, the committee’s top-ranking Democratic member, said he and panel chair Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, are trying to “light a big fire around” how important it is to fix the child welfare system’s flaws.

The report was prompted in part by a BuzzFeed investigation into the company two years ago.

The committee found that 86 children had died in the company’s care over a 10-year period, and the firm had conducted internal investigations in only 13 cases.

The political problem for foster children is a structural one.

It would be hard to think of a group with less lobbying power in Washington, D.C., while the group homes that warehouse children are making significant profits off each one and are loathe to see that income dry up.

Late last year, Hatch and Wyden made a push to reform the system with a bill that would privilege family settings over group homes, but a Baptist group home network in North Carolina persuaded its Senate delegation to block the legislation.

Meanwhile, state agencies and judges tend to be quick to pull a child from their home at the first sign of trouble, reasoning that the safest move is to act rather than leave them with a parent.

If tragedy strikes while a child is at home, media attention condemns the parents and the system that left the child there.

But when tragedy strikes a child who was hastily moved into a group home, the death often passes unnoticed.

The failure of the child welfare system is a “real moral blot on the country,” Wyden said, and children “aren’t going to have an army of lobbyists behind them,” so it’s up to lawmakers to show how serious the failures of the system are.

Wyden said he hopes this report shocks opponents of the Families First bill into taking a second look.
Roughly 1,600 children die each year due to abuse and neglect, the committee reported. “Members of Congress don’t get up in the morning and say, ‘Hey, I’m going to spend my whole day being rotten to kids,’” Wyden told The Intercept after the release of the report.

“I just don’t think they have a sense of the enormity of the problem and the vulnerability of the kids and the families and how broken the system is, so what we’re trying to do is get this in front of them so that with all of the other issues that are coming at them, they’ll say, ‘You know, it’s a bipartisan effort, there’s two approaches on this, let’s get going.’”

The investigation found that MENTOR did not investigate fatalities; the vast majority of children who died were not the subject of internal investigations even when the death was unexpected, and pending autopsy reports were excluded from files.

‘‘The MENTOR Network serves significantly more children and youth with heightened risk factors relative to others in foster care, and sustains child mortality rates that are comparable with national norms,” the company told the committee.

The panel, however, dubbed that claim “false,” noting its death rate among foster children was found to be 42 percent higher than the national average.

“The gaps in the system are so enormous that, according to the advocates who care and are trying to do a good job, there isn’t even a way to track the extent of the mistreatment of the kids,” Wyden said.

“The inquiry dug deeply into the MENTOR Network, and I don’t think anybody can look away when you find in a 10-year period, 70 percent of the kids who died in MENTOR’s care and custody, died unexpectedly.”

The investigation was conducted by requesting information from all 50 states; 17 didn’t bother to submit anything.

“It’s kind of like some of these managers in states just consider protecting the children an afterthought, not a priority,” Wyden said.

The report cited news accounts of children placed in homes with individuals who had been convicted of kidnapping and other serious crimes, with parents who had substance abuse problems, and in homes where caretakers had previously “failed” foster care placements.

“This isn’t an abstraction,” Wyden said. “This is about denying the most vulnerable kids in America the chance to have healthy and productive lives.”

Ethics Should Ask Senator Richard Burr Why He Withheld His Vote For Foster Care Reform

I really tried to find a picture of Mr. Burr with children.
Unfortunately, this was the best I could muster.
U.S. Senator Richard Burr posted an op-ed moaning about being picked on by the family rights activists for being the one person in the history of U.S. child welfare reform who is holding up the Families First Legislation which is designed to keep kids with families.

But, of course, I am going to throw my 2 cents in.

The gentleman does just not sit on the Senate HELP Committee, nor does he just sit on the Finance Committee, he also sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

So, what does our intelligence community have to do with child welfare?

Well, alot, but that is not what I am looking at.

Why would the Gentleman put so much weight upon the bitch and moans of lil' ole Baptist children's homes in his state.

Medicaid fraud!

The Huffington Post Reported That I'm Sabotaging Foster Care Reform. Here's My Side Of The Story.

To respect the economy of time for my fan base, allow me to sum up his side of the story.

There is a little community around Appalachia called Crossnore, North Carolina whose only major industry is warehousing poor kids who are snatched from the inner cities of his District which are suffering from the ills of poverty and a lack of resources due to sardonic socio-economic policies of privatization.

Sitting on over 300 acres of non-taxable Christian 501c3 property where the Crossnore Children's Home just recently merged with the Crossnore School to expand its operations of warehousing and  trafficking kids, there are plans for expansion of its "revenue maximization" operations.

Oh heck, the Chairman of the Board for Crossnore, John Blackburn, has secured at least $30 million for the expansion of its operations and I bet it has something to do with social impact investments.

Senator Burr is advocating an artificial constituency request to stay in the business of filing Medicaid cost reimbursements to profit from its "at-risk' free workforce just so he can stay in office in office because every corporation should hire a child.

This situation sounds like there is a need for an ethics investigation...just to clear the record because there is a lot of money floating around his campaign activities.

Details for Committee ID : C00620617  $1,203,324

Details for Committee ID : C00594499  $95,500

Details for Committee ID : C00573022  $1,163,724

Details for Committee ID : C00385526  $11,669,655

For a grand total of $14,132,203 for the 2016 campaign cycle.

It may behoove a few prying eyes to peek under the cloak of his personal land and natural resource deals surrounding these children's homes.

Or perhaps, it was to ensure his re-election.

But then again, he could just be poorly advised by his staff, and we cannot allow this sort of activity to continue to manipulate the public record, now, can we?

We shall never truly know why he refused to vote on the Families First Act unless there is an ethics investigation.

EMMETT TILL UNSOLVED CIVIL RIGHTS CRIMES REAUTHORIZATION ACT PASSED BY CONGRESS

Washington, DC—During its final session of the 114th Congress, the Senate passed the Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crimes Reauthorization Act of 2016 (S.2854/H.R.5067).  In the Senate, the bill was led by Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), and Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO).  In the House, original sponsors were Rep. John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI), Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) and Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI). The bill now heads to the President to be signed into law.

BACKGROUND
Before the passage of major civil rights legislation in the 1960s, hundreds of racially suspicious crimes were committed in this country, and few attempts to prosecute them were ever pursued.  Tuskegee Institute once kept a record of verified lynchings in the United States from 1877 to 1950.  The institute documented that nearly 4000 mainly unprosecuted civil rights crimes occurred during that period.  Many American families continue to pass down stories of loss and disappearance even today without knowing the truth about what actually happened to their loved ones.

PRIMARY GOALS OF THE BILL
The Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crimes Reauthorization Act represents a critical opportunity to right these wrongs committed, primarily against African Americans, but also against people of diverse backgrounds.  In some cases, individuals still remain who were witnesses to these crimes or who can help provide evidence regarding these incidents.  This bill reauthorizes and updates the original legislation that was signed into law in 2008.  It seeks to respond to the concerns of victims' family members and strengthen collaboration between the Justice Department, the FBI, State and local law enforcement, and advocates to pursue these cold cases.  There is a collective goal to seek the truth about this long-standing tragedies and hold the perpetrators and orchestrators of these atrocities accountable.   This reauthorization also seeks to respond to the concerns of advocates regarding the implementation of the original legislation.

BI-PARTISAN and BI-CAMERAL STATEMENTS OF SUPPORT

Dean of the U.S. House
of Representatives
John Conyers, Jr.
"As we work to address current questions about racial violence and civil rights, we should be mindful of our history and why so many in the African-American community raise the issue of whether black lives matter.  Passage of the original Emmett Till Act represented a commitment to resolving the unanswered questions from one of the darkest periods in modern American history.  This bipartisan reauthorization represents further investment in our history and will allow the Department of Justice to resolve remaining issues."  Rep. John Conyers, Jr.  - MI

"When this bill was signed into law, family members, academics, historians, lawyers, advocates began working to develop a full accounting for these long-standing, gross human and civil rights atrocities.  The reauthorization passed by Congress is a response to their appeals to make the law a better tool in their quest for justice. We also worked across the aisle and across the Dome to develop a bill that fulfills our promise to remain committed to the pursuit of truth on behalf of victims and their families.  I am very pleased that Congress has passed this legislation and I look forward to the signature of President Barack Obama."  Rep. John Lewis - GA

“I am pleased that this bill is now finally heading to the President’s desk. Investigators can now work to discover the truth and to seek justice under our legal system for the families of these victims. Every American is worthy of the protection of our laws. I want to thank the Till family, Alvin Sykes, Congressman John Lewis, and all of the civil rights activists who helped make this law a reality. Today’s victory is theirs.”  Sen. Richard Burr - NC

“Too many families suffer from the unsolved murders of their loved ones during the civil rights era without receiving justice.  The way to best serve these families is to provide our Federal government with the tools it needs to investigate these unsolved crimes, and to hopefully, bring some sense of closure for these families.  I thank Congressman Lewis for his tireless work on behalf of the families of these victims of unsolved murders from the civil rights era and I am proud to stand with him on this effort.”   Sen. Patrick Leahy - VT

“This legislation brings justice and closure to the families and communities affected by the heinous acts of violence and hatred that are a stain on our nation’s history. The bill will help us continue the critical work of better investigating and solving these crimes, no matter how long ago they occurred, and I’m thrilled we’ve finally been able to carry it across the finish line.” Sen. Claire McCaskill - MO
“The Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crimes Reauthorization Act sets out to investigate racially-motivated murders. Sadly, there is still more work to be done and it’s important that we reauthorize this bill so that the FBI and DOJ can continue investigating unsolved crimes.”    Sen. Roy Blunt - MO
“As an original cosponsor of the Emmett Till Reauthorization Act, I’m pleased to see my colleagues came together and supported this important bill. This bipartisan legislation will provide for a sustained, well-coordinated effort to investigate and prosecute unsolved civil rights-era crimes. There are hundreds of cold cases from the civil rights era that have never been solved and it is my hope that we are able to bring justice to the victims’ families.”  Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner - WI
