Deutsche Bank, Clinton Foundation & Key Congressional Members Team Up To Cover Up Child Welfare Fraud Assests

I wish these people would just stop because I can smell their fraud schemes a mile away.

Trump is being falsely advised by cabinet administrative advisors to waive civil punishments surrounding false claims of Deutsche Bank to make it look like he was colluding with Russia?

Well, I surely would say so and I bet each and every official that advised POTUS to extend the waivers did so because their asses were on the line, in one bribery/blackmail scheme or another, just like was done in the previous administration.

What we have here is a situation of mortgage fraud, but it does not just hail from Russian, it also comes from Detroit.

It seems the 'former' Ranking Member of Judiciary Committee, John Conyers, Jr., had to lay out an administrative tutorial to his colleagues of how DOJ settlements operate on the House Floor, in the Congressional Record, but was swiftly dismissed by the list of its co-sponsors, under the leadership of the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Bob Goodlatte, the individual who introduced HE. 732, "Stop Slush Fund Act of 2017" and the same individual who gets kickbacks from the DOJ defendants in the form of campaign contributions.

I have provided the transcript of Hillary Clinton's speech to Deutsche Bank in 2014 that is full of acknowledgments of her global child welfare fraud funding schemes like social impact bonds, just as one example, to show that fraud is non-partisan activity, even in Russia and Israel.

With all this said, it is my belief that this is another attempt to remove an elected official from office based upon a corruption of the public record, or rather fraud, as a response to the

Trump Administration Waives Punishment For Convicted Banks, Including Deutsche — Which Trump Owes Millions

The Trump administration has waived part of the punishment for five megabanks whose affiliates were convicted and fined for manipulating global interest rates. One of the Trump administration waivers was granted to Deutsche Bank — which is owed at least $130 million by President Donald Trump and his business empire, and has also been fined for its role in a Russian money laundering scheme.

The waivers were issued in a little-noticed announcement published in the Federal Register during the Christmas holiday week. They come less than two years after then-candidate Trump promised“I'm not going to let Wall Street get away with murder.”

Under laws designed to protect retirement savings, financial firms whose affiliates have been convicted of violating securities statutes are effectively barred from the lucrative business of managing those savings. However, that punishment can be avoided if the firms manage to secure a special exemption from the U.S. Department of Labor, allowing them to keep their status as “qualified professional asset managers.”

In late 2016, the Obama administration extended temporary one-year waivers to five banks — Citigroup, JPMorgan, Barclays, UBS and Deutsche Bank. Late last month, the Trump administration issued new, longer waivers for those same banks, granting Citigroup, JPMorgan, and Barclays five-year exemptions. UBS and Deutsche Bank received three-year exemptions.

In the year leading up to the new waiver for Deustche Bank, Trump’s financial relationship with the firm has prompted allegations of a conflict of interest. The bank has not only sought the Labor Department waiver from the administration, it has also faced Justice Department scrutiny and five separate government-appointed independent monitors. Meanwhile, the New York Times recently reported that federal prosecutors subpoenaed Deutsche for “bank records about entities associated with the family company of Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser.”

All of these interactions with the Trump administration and the federal government are transpiring as Deutsche serves as a key creditor for the president’s businesses.

Trump owes the German bank at least $130 million in loans, according to the president’s most recent financial disclosure form. Sources have told the Financial Times the total amount of money Trump owes Deutsche is likely around $300 million. The president’s relationship with the bank dates back to the late 1990s, when it was the one major Wall Street bank willing to extend him credit after a series of bankruptcies. In 2016, the Wall Street Journal reported Trump and his companies have received at least $2.5 billion in loans from Deutsche Bank and co-lenders since 1998.

The relationship has had problems. After the financial crash, Trump defaulted on a $640 million loan from the bank. Deutsche brought Trump to court, and the famously litigious real estate mogul countersued for $3 billion in damages, claiming the financial crisis was a “force majeure” event that Deutsche Bank helped create. But the rift was short-lived: the parties settled, the loan was repaid, and Deutsche was soon lending to Trump again.

In December, Bloomberg and others reported the bank had turned over financial records to special prosecutor Robert Mueller after his office subpoenaed the records as part of his investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election. Trump’s lawyers have called that reporting inaccurate.

“We have confirmed that the news reports that the Special Counsel had subpoenaed financial records relating to the President are false,” Trump attorney Jay Sekulow said in a statement. “No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources.”

Less than three weeks later, the New York Times reported federal prosecutors had subpoenaed Deutsche Bank records related to White House senior adviser and Trump son-in-law Kushner and his vast business holdings. There is no evidence those subpoenas were related to Mueller’s investigation.
The subpoenas come less than a year after Deutsche Bank was fined $425 million by New York Statefor laundering $10 billion out of Russia.

All five of the banks granted waivers from the Obama and Trump administration were fined for their involvement in the LIBOR  scandal that led to $9 billion worth of fines from regulators around the world. Deutsche Bank has paid $3.5 billion for its role in the scandal, more than any other bank. The scandal involved illegally manipulating the London Interbank Offered Rate or LIBOR, which is used to set the cost of borrowing for a variety of financial transactions.

In 2015, Deutsche Bank pled guilty in the U.S. to wire fraud for its role in the scandal. Less than two years later, in the final hours of the Obama administration, Deutsche Bank agreed to a $7.2 billion settlement with the Justice Department for misleading investors in mortgage-backed securities between 2006 and 2007.

Deutsche Bank Raided For Stealin' From The Poors - Panama Papers & Tax Evasion

Aaaaaaand we are off and running....

Next stop, The United States.

This is an international money laundering operation grounded in mortgage fraud by Corporate Shape Shifters through fake ass LLCs that was stealin' from "The Poors" (always said with clinched teeth).

Sound familiar?

It should.

Deutsche Bank offices raided this morning by 170 officers and investigators in money laundering probe over Panama Papers

More than six police vehicles, their blue lights flashing, pulled up to Deutsche Bank's main offices shortly before 9 a.m.

German authorities descended on Deutsche Bank AG, including its downtown Frankfurt headquarters, in a coordinated raid related to a money-laundering investigation.

More than six police vehicles, their blue lights flashing, pulled up to Deutsche Bank’s main offices shortly before 9 a.m., in an operation involving about 170 officers. The main suspects were two bank employees who were not identified beyond their ages — 50 and 46. Authorities were also looking at whether others might have been involved. The bank said it was cooperating in what prosecutors described as a continuing investigation.

For the beleaguered German lender, the raid adds to a panoply of headaches — commercial, regulatory and legal — facing chief executive Christian Sewing and chairman Paul Achleitner. The stock has lost almost half its value this year, after sliding about 3 per cent on Thursday. The cost of insuring its junior debt against losses jumped 11 basis points to 383 basis points, the highest in two years, according to data compiled by CMA.

“This must be associated with criminal behavior and not just a trivial offence,” said Stefan Mueller chief executive officer of DGWA, an investment advisory boutique based in Frankfurt. He believes the bank will now be paralyzed for months until it becomes clear how it will be effected by new potential fines. “Maybe this time, Achleitner will fall. The bank needs fresh blood to make a radical cut at its management.”

PANAMA PAPERS

The investigation stems from revelations in the Panama Papers, a collection of documents leaked in 2016 from Mossack Fonseca, a Panama-based law firm that created shell companies to facilitate tax avoidance. At the time, Deutsche Bank severed ties with a Cypriot lender partly owned by VTB Group that was identified in the reporting.

The subsequent investigations from the Panama Papers exposed evidence Deutsche Bank helped clients set up off-shore accounts, prosecutors said. The officials said the Thursday raid wasn’t related to its role as a correspondent bank for money laundering at Denmark’s Danske Bank.

The German lender may have helped clients in setting up offshore companies in tax havens. Money obtained illegally may have been transferred to accounts at Deutsche Bank, which failed to report the suspicions that the accounts may have been used to launder money, Frankfurt prosecutors said.
In an emailed statement, Deutsche Bank confirmed that police are investigating at several German locations in relation to Panama Papers, and said it is fully cooperating with authorities.

The timing of the raid inflicts more pain on Deutsche Bank after a series of setbacks and repeated failures in keeping misconduct in check have pushed the shares to all-time lows. Investor worries have mounted over its role as a correspondent bank in the multi-billion-dollar money-laundering scandal at Danske, and Germany’s markets regulator has taken the unprecedented step of appointing a monitor to oversee the firm’s efforts to improve money-laundering and terrorism-financing controls.
Deutsche Bank has spent more than US$18 billion paying fines and settling legal disputes since the start of 2008, according to company disclosures compiled by Bloomberg News. In Europe, Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc is the only lender to have faced a bigger tab, at US$18.1 billion, the Bloomberg calculations show.

“Just when you thought Deutsche Bank had left it’s legal troubles behind it, there’s more,” said Markus Riesselmann, an analyst at Independent Research who recommends investors sell Deutsche Bank shares. “Investors really want to be able to focus on the bank’s operating business, so this noise around them is quite unhelpful for the mood.”

Sewing, who took the top job in April, is replacing key executives as part of a management shakeup as he struggles to get Germany’s biggest lender back on track. Sylvie Matherat, a management board member who serves as the bank’s chief regulatory officer, and Tom Patrick, who runs operations in the Americas, are among executives who might ultimately leave, people familiar with the matter said this week.

In a June 2017 interview, Matherat described the monumental task of modernizing the company’s compliance methods. After years of acquisitions and overseas expansion, the lender was left with a patchwork of computer programs to monitor transactions. The bank didn’t have a complete picture of the compliance controls in the organization’s businesses and regions, she said.

“I hate surprises, but you don’t know what you don’t know,” said Matherat, a lawyer and former deputy director general at the French central bank.

A Message Of Gore: New Jersey Judge Esther Salas On The Deutsche Bank Son Murdered, Husband Shot

This is about the Trump Empire, not Trump.

This is about trafficking tiny humans.

This is about land banks.

This is about my Sweetie.

This is Preet Bharara.

This is about gerrymandering, replete with campaign and election fraud.

Taken from the complaint, below:
Deutsche Bank has been the subject of scandal, investigation and regulatory enforcement for years due to widespread AML compliance failures and deficiencies in its disclosure controls and procedures and internal control over financial reporting, causing it to have one of the lowest gradings offered by the Federal Reserve. Such deficiencies have negatively impacted the Bank and had farreaching implications in the U.S., including in this Judicial District, which covers the State of New Jersey. For example, on October 25, 2017, New Jersey Attorney General Christopher S. Porrino (“Porrino”) announced that New Jersey is part of a $220 million, multi-state settlement with Deutsche Bank that resolves allegations of fraudulent and anti-competitive conduct involving manipulation by Deutsche Bank of the London Interbank Offered Rate (“LIBOR”). According to Porrino, Deutsche Bank’s manipulations of LIBOR harmed multiple government agencies and other entities in New Jersey, including the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

The son of a federal judge has been shot dead and her husband critically wounded after they were attacked at their home by a gunman dressed as a FedEx driver.

The attack happened at the home of Esther Salas, 51, an Obama-appointed District Court judge, in North Brunswick, New Jersey, on Sunday evening.

The judge's 20-year-old son Daniel Anderl was killed, and her defense attorney husband Mark Anderl, 63, was critically injured.

The shooting came days after the judge was assigned a case with links to Jefferey Epstein, although there is not yet any suggestion that the attack is linked her work.

The attack began at around 5pm when Mark Anderl answered the front door to the family home. He was shot several times.

Daniel, a student at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., then went to investigate the commotion and was fatally shot.

The perpetrator, believed to be a lone gunman, then fled the scene and is not yet in custody,

The judge and her family were the targets of an assassination attempt on Sunday evening at their home in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey

The FBI, U.S. Marshals, New Jersey State Police along with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General have all been on the scene of the shooting throughout Sunday evening

Francis 'Mac' Womack, the mayor of North Brunswick, New Jersey, said that Daniel was 'shot through the heart'.

Mark is reportedly in critical but stable condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick.

Judge Salas is believed to have been in the basement of the home during the shooting and was unharmed in the attack, according to NBC New York.

Last week, on July 15, the judge was assigned to a case that had links to late sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein.

The case Salas is presiding over involves as ongoing lawsuit brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the company made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor 'high-risk' customers including convicted sex offender billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

But her highest-profile case in recent years was the financial fraud case involving husband-and-wife Real Housewives of New Jersey reality TV stars Teresa and Joe Giudice, whom Salas sentenced to prison for crimes including bankruptcy fraud and tax evasion.

https://beverlytran.blogspot.com/2016/03/double-dipping-double-standard-of-child.html

Salas staggered their sentences so that one of them could be available to take care of their four children.

In 2017, she barred federal prosecutors from seeking the death penalty against an alleged gang leader charged in several Newark slayings, ruling the man's intellectual disability made him ineligible for capital punishment.

Salas later sentenced the man, the leader of the Newark Bloods street gang to 45 years in prison.

She has also dealt with cases involving members of the Grape Street Crips according to NJ.com. The case was connection with a long-running drug-trafficking network that was taken down by the FBI in 2015.

Judge Salas had received death threats in the past but as of Sunday night, authorities have not suggested the shootings are linked to any of her previous cases.

'As a judge, she had threats from time to time, but everyone is saying that recently there had not been any,' said Mayor Womack to ABC News, who is both friends with the judge and her husband.

'No words can express the sadness and loss we share tonight as a community after senseless shootings of the husband and son of USDC Judge Esther Salas,' she said.

The mayor said investigators are now 'trying to get a hard make on the vehicle' to try and track the suspect.

'We commit to do all we can to support the family in this time, as well as all law enforcement agencies involved,' Womack said.

The U.S. Marshals have also been called to provide the judge with a security detail, according to a law enforcement official.

One of several high-profile trials Judge Salas has presided over includes the trial of former Real Housewife Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe in a case regarding financial fraud

Judge Salas staggered Teresa and Joe Giudice's sentences so that one of them could be available to take care of their four children

Salas had sat a judge on the U.S. District Court for New Jersey in Newark, for nine years and was the first Hispanic woman to serve on the federal bench in the state.

Before that she spent five years as a magistrate judge, and nine years prior to that as a federal public defender before President Barack Obama nominated her to serve as a District Court Judge in 2010.

The daughter of a Cuban mother and a Mexican father, Salas spent part of her childhood on welfare after a fire destroyed her Union City apartment, according to The Globe.

Her husband, Mark Anderl also works in legal circles and served as an assistant prosecutor in Essex County, New Jersey for ten years before becoming a criminal defense attorney.

Salas met her husband when he was working as a prosecutor and she was working as a law school intern. He spotted her 'getting fingerprinted' and came over to talk to her, she told New Jersey Monthly in February 2018. 'We've been inseparable since 1992,' she said.

The daughter of a Cuban mother and a Mexican father, Judge Salas is well known in the community and often gives talks to school children and gives tours of the court

New Jersey's politicians were quick to react.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said in a statement: 'Judge Salas and her family are in our thoughts at this time as they cope with this senseless act. This tragedy is our latest reminder that gun violence remains a crisis in our country and that our work to make every community safer isn't done.'

'I know Judge Salas and her husband well, and was proud to recommend her to President Obama for nomination to New Jersey's federal bench. My prayers are with Judge Salas and her family, and that those responsible for this horrendous act are swiftly apprehended and brought to justice,' said Democratic New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez in a statement.

The FBI, U.S. Marshals, New Jersey State Police along with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General have been on the scene of the shooting throughout Sunday evening.

'The FBI is investigating a shooting that took place at the home of Judge Esther Salas in North Brunswick Township, NJ early this evening July 19. We are working closely with our state and local partners and will provide additional updates when available,' the bureau said in a statement.

So far, police have not announced any arrests or named any suspects, however the FBI tweeted it was looking for 'one subject' in the shooting.

Anyone who thinks they may have relevant information should call the FBI in Newark at 973-792-3001.

Judge who was the target of an assassination attempt had recently been assigned a case with links to Jeffrey Epstein

Last week, Judge Salas was assigned a case with links to Jeffrey Epstein.

The case sees investors suing Deutsche Bank and its CEO Christian Sewing, alleging the bank made false and misleading statements before it agreed to pay a $150 million fine for compliance failures linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court in Newark, New Jersey, and seeks unspecified damages.

It claims shareholders lost money because of Deutsche Bank's dealings with Epstein, who was implicated in dozens of sexual abuse cases. He died last August at the age of 66 after being found hanging in a Manhattan jail.

New York regulators last week announced Deutsche Bank would pay the fine for 'significant compliance failures' over Epstein and two unrelated cases.

Deutsche Bank declined to comment on the lawsuit. Last week, it said the settlement showed 'how important it is to continue investing in our controls and enhancing our anti-financial crime capabilities'.

The lawsuit also names as defendants Deutsche Bank's finance chief James von Moltke and former CEO John Cryan.

The named plaintiff is Ali Karimi, who lives in Connecticut, according to court documents.

Epstein, 66, was found hanged in his New York City prison cell in August 2019 after he was arrested on sex trafficking charges, and his death was ruled a suicide.

His former lover Ghislaine Maxwell, 58, was arrested on sex trafficking charges at a remote property in New Hampshire on July 2.

She was denied bail on Tuesday and learned she must stay locked up until her trial next summer after she pleaded not guilty.

Judge Salas is not involved with the current Maxwell case due before court in July 2021.

DOJ: Two Former Deutsche Bank Traders Charged With Deceptive and Manipulative Trading Practices in U.S. Commodities Markets

Two former employees of Deutsche Bank AG, a global financial institution, were charged in an indictment returned by a Chicago federal grand jury yesterday with engaging in fraudulent and manipulative trading involving precious metals futures contracts, announced Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and Assistant Director in Charge William Sweeney of the FBI’s New York Field Office.
James Vorley, 38, of the United Kingdom, and Cedric Chanu, 39, of France and the United Arab Emirates, were each charged in the Northern District of Illinois with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud affecting a financial institution and one count of wire fraud affecting a financial institution.
The indictment alleges that Vorley and Chanu, who were employed as traders at Deutsche Bank AG—Vorley based in London; Chanu based in London and Singapore—engaged in a years-long conspiracy to defraud other traders on the Commodity Exchange Inc., which was an exchange run by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group.  The defendants and their co-conspirators, including former Deutsche Bank AG trader David Liew, are alleged to have defrauded other traders by placing fraudulent orders that they did not intend to execute in order to create the appearance of false supply and demand and to induce other traders to trade at prices, quantities and times that they otherwise would not have traded.  The indictment further alleges that Vorley, Chanu, Liew and others placed such fraudulent and manipulative orders by themselves and in coordination with other traders at Deutsche Bank AG, including each other.
An indictment is merely an allegation and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
This case was investigated by the FBI’s New York Field Office.  Assistant Deputy Chief Carol Sipperly and Trial Attorneys Michael T. O’Neill and Cory E. Jacobs of the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section are prosecuting the case.
Individuals who believe that they may be a victim in this case should visit the Fraud Section’s Victim Witness website for more information.

Cocktails & Popcorn: Deutsche Bank Busted Trying To Cover Up Stealin' From The U.S. Treasury - The Treasonous Tale of the Missing SARs

Gather round, my dearies, for I shall tell the tale of Deutsche Bank and the missing SARs.

The New York Times published an article with a toll, that said Deutsche Bank employees were so scared of Trump because of Cohen that they never filed mandated by the U.S. Treasury, Financial Crimes Network, Suspicious Activity Reports, so affectionately called SARs.

As we all know, no one is going to subscribe and pay to read an article when they can just watch youtube or your media news source of choice.

The only one who attempted to cover the tale of the missing SARs was Rachel Maddow, of whom continues to be stunning in her abilities to take the besmirching her profession to levels, unprecedented in paid speech.

She cited the tolled New York Times article as her source, a second hand source, without mentioning the missing SARs from the U.S. Treasury Financial Crimes Network, that was put out in a DOJ press release, that I published, pushing the jejune plot of the "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) over there at Deutsche Bank of employees being so scared of Trump that they would rather risk being charged with treason than to report treason?

That is treason.

Michael Cohen was that Och Ziff financial management guy over the Children's Trust Funds.

Anyway, that ends the tale of Deutsche Bank trying to implement another one of those schemes concocted by the "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) to cover up its money laundering activities, I would most definitely call treason.

Stealin' from the U.S. Treasury is treason.

I wish someone would just #sayhisname so we can get this Cocktails & Popcorn party started!

Cocktails & Popcorn: Is Michael Cohen About To Sing The Ballad Of Detroit Foreclosure?

Image result for popcorn and houses
"It is a Detroit foreclosed, robo signed by a Corporate Shape Shifter real
property that was that later had their mortgage service providers allow
the Detroit Land Bank Authority to scheme for TARP

and proceed with more SEC international fraud schemes
in money laundering, stealin' the children, the land and the votes.
Previously, on Cocktails & Popcorn,  The National Credit Union Administration charged Cohen on forgery, bribery and your basic stealin' as a Corporate Shape Shifter.

It was all about those crafty creatures called LLCs, Limited  Liability Company he and his 'buddies' at the financial institutions.

The charges read almost like  they were stealin' houses in Detroit through fake mortgages and fake corporations, or rather, Ham Sandwiches, but hey, what do I know?

Now, on to Deutsche Bank in Detroit, who, more than likely were the servicers of mortgages to the LLCs.

The following is from a 2015 special report by The Detroit News on the blight  in Detroit:
Deutsche Bank: 2,392 foreclosures, 53 percent
Details: The investment bank, based in Frankfurt, Germany, was a significant backer of the U.S. subprime industry, according to a 2011 report from the Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations under then-chairman U.S. Sen. Carl Levin. The bank "underwrote securities using loans from subprime lenders known for issuing high risk, poor quality mortgages and sold risky securities to investors across the United States and around the world," the report found. The bank maintains it only acted as a trustee for groups of investors who owned Detroit properties and that typically separate servicers handled the foreclosures.
Response: "As trustee, Deutsche Bank has no financial stake in these properties nor is it responsible for the maintenance of foreclosed properties. Rather, loan servicing companies are responsible for property maintenance and property tax payments, as well as responding to legal proceedings, such as city code citations or fines arising from property maintenance issues," according to written statement by spokesman Ari Cohen.

But, hey, what do I know?

I know that engaging in schemes to cause fraudulent property foreclosures is a deliberate act of interfering with an election because it causes a forced migration, putting a state, like Michigan, to redistrict, with the financial fraudfeasors at the helm to redraw congressional maps and manipulate the vote.

Donald Trump's Longtime Attorney Michael Cohen Reaches Plea Deal With Feds

Donald Trump's onetime personal attorney, Michael Cohen, has reached a plea agreement with federal authorities, according to an individual familiar with the matter.

Cohen is scheduled to appear in court in New York City on Tuesday afternoon in the matter, but the details were not clear as to what wrongdoing Cohen might admit, what — if any — cooperation he might offer or what punishment he might finally face.

Cohen, who worked for Trump on a range of real estate, political and personal matters — including payments to buy the silence of women who said they had sexual relationships with Trump — knows as much or more as anyone in the president's inner circle.

Cohen hinted weeks ago that he might cooperate with federal prosecutors, but it isn't clear where those negotiations stood on Tuesday.

Specifically, Cohen reportedly was willing to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that Trump authorized the much-discussed June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower in New York City between top Trump campaign aides and a delegation of Russians.

Which Public Private Partnership Did Mueller Subpoena On Russia Election Interference?

Ok. I am toggling between TEVA and Clinton Foundation.

Oh, wait, the Clinton Foundation never incorporated, and neither did the Detroit Land Bank Authority, and they are both in different District jurisdictions.

U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops?

National Children's Trust Fund?

Priests For Life?

Well, I know it is not the Trump Foundation because it is in the process of being dissolved, as I type.

Any other viable suggestions?

There are just so many state owned foreign corporations because they are called Public Private Partnerships.

I bet it has something to do with children's trust funds.

Mystery company must comply with subpoena linked to Mueller probe, appellate court rules

An unidentified, state-owned corporation must respond to a subpoena apparently connected to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's wide-ranging Russia probe -- or face the prospect of rapidly increasing monetary penalties, a federal appellate court ruled Tuesday.

Proceedings in the case have been shrouded in secrecy for weeks. During oral arguments in the case on Friday, court officials shuttered an entire floor of the federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., from the public and the press.

The unanimous judgment and opinion by the three-judge panel on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, which indicated that a more comprehensive opinion will follow, upheld an earlier lower-court ruling and rejected the corporation's arguments that complying with the subpoena would violate the laws of its country and thus constitute an undue hardship.

The judges ruled "that text of the foreign law provision the Corporation relies on does not support its position" and found that the country's counsel -- and a regulator from the country -- offered only an "atextual" contrary interpretation that lacked "critical indicia of reliability."

The appellate panel also rejected the corporation's argument that the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act rendered it immune from prosecutors' request.

An interpretation of federal law that "would completely insulate corporations majority owned by foreign governments from all criminal liability," the judges wrote, "seems in far greater tension with Congress’s choice to codify a theory of foreign sovereign immunity designed to allow regulation of foreign nations acting as ordinary market participants."

Judge Beryl Howell, the chief judge on the U.S. District Court for D.C., had ruled that the corporation could not legally resist the subpoena, and fined the entity a "fixed monetary penalty" that increased "each day the Corporation fail[ed] to comply."

"We also agree, contrary to the Corporation’s argument, that the Act allows for the monetary judgment ordered by the district court," the appellate panel wrote. "Whether and how that sanction can be executed on remand is a separate question for a later day."

It was not clear which country owns the corporation involved in the case, or what information prosecutors are requesting from the corporation.

The proceedings are believed to be linked to attempts by Mueller's team to secure information to present to an empaneled grand jury in the Russia investigation. Mueller is looking not only into whether members of President Trump's inner circle improperly colluded with Russia, but also a range of other matters pertaining to foreign activities by high-ranking Americans.

Mueller's team has said Flynn would have faced FARA-related charges if he had not pleaded guilty and cooperated in the false statements case.

On Sunday, California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, the incoming House Intelligence Committee chairman, charged that Trump's financial records with Deutsche Bank and Russia might reveal a "form of compromise" that "needs to be exposed."

Days after he told The New Yorker that Deutsche Bank was an "obvious place to start" when he begins making records demands next month, Schiff suggested that there had to be some reason that the German banking giant was willing to work with the Trump Organization.

"The concern about Deutsche Bank is they have a history of laundering Russian money," Schiff said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

He continued: "They paid hundreds of millions of dollars in fines to the state of New York, because they were laundering Russian money. And this apparently is the one bank that was willing to do business with the Trump Organization. Now is that a coincidence?"

Last month, the Frankfurt-based lender was raided as part of a lengthy money laundering probe related to the Panama Papers disclosures, the reveal of millions of documents that exposed how the world's wealthiest politicians and business leaders hide their money.

DOJ Files False Claims Act Suit Against Banks For Mortgage Fraud

Today in Southern District New York, the U.S. Department of Justice filed one of its first False Claims Act suits against Deutsche Bank and Mortgage IT, Inc. for mortgage fraud.

The significance in this filing goes far beyond the DOJ getting off its lethargic arse and doing something.  It signifies the beginning signs of backbone growth in the current administration.

So far, you have a particularly large segment of the population walking around, well, I mean attempting to pass legislation to dismantle 40 years of regulation,  all for the sake of protecting the ability of major corporations to create jobs.

You have states allowing child welfare fraud to exist.

You have major record labels snatching copyrights from major musical icons, even from the dead.

You have pharmaceutical corporations lobbying for fraudulent legislation to drug kids.

You even have Bernie Madoff in on federal regulation rip-off game.

It's about time someone start blaming the right persons.  It is the duty of the Department of Justice to protect the civil liberties of the people and this is an excellent example.

The Tale Of Burisma, Hunter Biden, Taggart Romney, Their Daddies, Deutsche Bank & Trafficking Tiny Human Trust Funds With Catholic Charities

This is the tale of Joe Biden, running trafficking tiny human ops out the White House, with the assistance of his brother James and his son.

Tagg Romney
Mitt Romney's eldest son, Tagg, made a surprise announcement today: He and his wife, Jen, are the new parents of twin boys delivered by a surrogate.

"Happy 2 announce birth of twin boys David Mitt and William Ryder. Big thanks to our surrogate. Life is a miracle," Tagg Romney said via Twitter at 3:17 p.m.

Ten minutes later, his mother, Ann Romney, said in her own tweet: "Grandchildren 17 and 18 are here – congratulations @TRomney and Jen! We can't wait to meet David and William."

Tagg Romney is one of five children of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and his wife. Tagg and Jen Romney had four children previously.

The Associated Press reported it was the second time the couple had used a surrogate. Their son Jonathan was born in 2010 by a surrogate.

Tagg Romney said on his Facebook page that the latest surrogancy was gestational, meaning the new boys are the biological product of him and his wife.

"Everyone is healthy and happy," Tagg Romney wrote. "They weighed in at 5 pounds 13 ounces and 19-3/4 inches, and 6 pounds 13 ounces and 19 inches. A special thanks to our gestational surrogate who made this possible for us. Life truly is a miracle, and we feel so blessed to be able to celebrate the arrival of these precious boys into our family."

His Facebook homepage features a group photo at Fenway Park of him and three of his four brothers.
Both Tagg and Jen Romney are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which encourages its members to have large families and places a premium on genealogical research.

Nonetheless, "The Church strongly discourages surrogate motherhood," says an LDS handbook.

As for adopted children, the handbook says: "Questions regarding the exchange of information and contact between adopted children and their biological parents should be handled with sensitivity. The legal rights and emotional needs of all relevant parties should be considered."

I believe this tale is self explanatory.

They all were stealin' the children, the land and the votes.

As Democrats and the media remain fanatically obsessed with assembling some form of a “quid pro quo” from the infamous Trump-Zelensky phone call, new details have emerged regarding Burisma, the company for which Hunter Biden worked and the company that Ukraine’s top prosecutor had been investigating before Vice President Joe Biden had the prosecutor fired via a months-long pressure campaign. According to web archives, top Mitt Romney adviser Joseph Cofer Black, who publicly goes by “Cofer Black,” joined Burisma’s board of directors while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.

According to The New Yorker, Hunter joined Burisma’s board in April of 2014 and remained on it until he declined to renew his position this past May. Meanwhile, according to Burisma’s website, Black was appointed in February of 2017 and continues to serve on its board. The timelines would indicate that Black and Biden worked together at Burisma, and indeed, web archives from late 2017 show Black and Biden listed simultaneously on the board.

Black joined the CIA in 1974 and eventually climbed the ranks to become director of the National Counterterrorism Center from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, President George W. Bush appointed him ambassador at large and coordinator for counterterrorism. He later worked at Blackwater as a vice chairman before joining Romney’s campaign as a “special adviser” on Romney’s Foreign Policy and National Security Advisory Team in October of 2011. In 2017, Black joined the board of Burisma.

It’s looking increasingly probable that Burisma, the subject of a series of corruption allegations in the past, has been smartly buying Western complacency by slapping a few famous names on its board. In addition to the son of a vice president and a special adviser to a GOP presidential candidate, the board also boasts the former president of Poland from 1995 to 2005, Aleksander Kwaśniewski.

BSF Achieves Dismissal of Claims Against Family Members of Vice President Biden

BSF won a major victory when New York Supreme Court Justice Bernard Fried granted in its entirety the Firm's motion to dismiss all claims filed against BSF's clients, including James and Hunter Biden, the Vice President’s brother and son, respectively, for alleged breach of contract, conversion and fraud arising from a failed acquisition of portions of a hedge fund.

Fund manager sues son and brother of U.S. Senator Biden

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A Deutsche Bank executive is suing a son and a brother of Delaware Sen. Joe Biden for at least $10 million over a deal they had to buy into a hedge fund, according to court documents. Stephane Farouze, who is global head of fund derivatives for Deutsche Bank and lives in London, claimed that Biden’s son Hunter and brother James broke a May 2006 contract and defrauded him after agreeing to buy his membership interests in New York-based Paradigm Companies LLC.

The lawsuit filed in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan in June names Washington lobbyist Hunter Biden, James Biden, and James’s former business partner Anthony Lotito as defendants. On Wednesday, Farouze’s lawyer Marlen Kruzhkov said that the Bidens “never had any intention of carrying out the agreement with my client”.

He said the Bidens and their lawyers have not responded to the complaint. Representatives for the Bidens could not immediately be reached for comment. The lawsuit said that while the Bidens took control of the company, they never paid Farouze the cash they had agreed to pay.

Sen. Biden is a Delaware Democrat who was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972. He has been mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate on Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential ticket. The lawsuit is the second accusing Biden’s relatives of irregularities in their deal to buy hedge fund firm Paradigm. An earlier lawsuit was filed by Lotito in January 2007.
