JUDICIARY: Senate Hearing On "Examining the Inspector General's First Report on Justice Department and FBI Actions in Advance of the 2016 Presidential Election" June 18, 2018

It seems, the underlying tone of the hearing was about smearing people during a campaign cycle.

What is interesting is the fact that the campaign cycle for the U.S. House of Representatives is perpetual as that the term of office is only two years, so when do you draw the line on the right to smear a candidate?

Never.

In this particular hearing, smearing was done with taxpayer dollars, using federal resources of the executive and congress, and dare I also include judicial resources, through campaign activities that were taking place during the course of governmental business.

I know someone who was smeared in the same fashion as Trump.

And never forget, Perkins Coie Sucks.
