A Message Of Gore: New Jersey Judge Esther Salas On The Deutsche Bank Son Murdered, Husband Shot

This is about the Trump Empire, not Trump.

This is about trafficking tiny humans.

This is about land banks.

This is about my Sweetie.

This is Preet Bharara.

This is about gerrymandering, replete with campaign and election fraud.

Taken from the complaint, below:
Deutsche Bank has been the subject of scandal, investigation and regulatory enforcement for years due to widespread AML compliance failures and deficiencies in its disclosure controls and procedures and internal control over financial reporting, causing it to have one of the lowest gradings offered by the Federal Reserve. Such deficiencies have negatively impacted the Bank and had farreaching implications in the U.S., including in this Judicial District, which covers the State of New Jersey. For example, on October 25, 2017, New Jersey Attorney General Christopher S. Porrino (“Porrino”) announced that New Jersey is part of a $220 million, multi-state settlement with Deutsche Bank that resolves allegations of fraudulent and anti-competitive conduct involving manipulation by Deutsche Bank of the London Interbank Offered Rate (“LIBOR”). According to Porrino, Deutsche Bank’s manipulations of LIBOR harmed multiple government agencies and other entities in New Jersey, including the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

The son of a federal judge has been shot dead and her husband critically wounded after they were attacked at their home by a gunman dressed as a FedEx driver.

The attack happened at the home of Esther Salas, 51, an Obama-appointed District Court judge, in North Brunswick, New Jersey, on Sunday evening.

The judge's 20-year-old son Daniel Anderl was killed, and her defense attorney husband Mark Anderl, 63, was critically injured.

The shooting came days after the judge was assigned a case with links to Jefferey Epstein, although there is not yet any suggestion that the attack is linked her work.

The attack began at around 5pm when Mark Anderl answered the front door to the family home. He was shot several times.

Daniel, a student at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., then went to investigate the commotion and was fatally shot.

The perpetrator, believed to be a lone gunman, then fled the scene and is not yet in custody,

Mark Anderl, 63, is reportedly in a critical condition in hospital after being shot several times

The judge and her family were the targets of an assassination attempt on Sunday evening at their home in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey

The FBI, U.S. Marshals, New Jersey State Police along with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General have all been on the scene of the shooting throughout Sunday evening

Francis 'Mac' Womack, the mayor of North Brunswick, New Jersey, said that Daniel was 'shot through the heart'.

Mark is reportedly in critical but stable condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick.

Judge Salas is believed to have been in the basement of the home during the shooting and was unharmed in the attack, according to NBC New York.

Last week, on July 15, the judge was assigned to a case that had links to late sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein.

The case Salas is presiding over involves as ongoing lawsuit brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the company made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor 'high-risk' customers including convicted sex offender billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

But her highest-profile case in recent years was the financial fraud case involving husband-and-wife Real Housewives of New Jersey reality TV stars Teresa and Joe Giudice, whom Salas sentenced to prison for crimes including bankruptcy fraud and tax evasion.

https://beverlytran.blogspot.com/2016/03/double-dipping-double-standard-of-child.html

Salas staggered their sentences so that one of them could be available to take care of their four children.

In 2017, she barred federal prosecutors from seeking the death penalty against an alleged gang leader charged in several Newark slayings, ruling the man's intellectual disability made him ineligible for capital punishment.

Salas later sentenced the man, the leader of the Newark Bloods street gang to 45 years in prison.

She has also dealt with cases involving members of the Grape Street Crips according to NJ.com. The case was connection with a long-running drug-trafficking network that was taken down by the FBI in 2015.

Judge Salas had received death threats in the past but as of Sunday night, authorities have not suggested the shootings are linked to any of her previous cases.

'As a judge, she had threats from time to time, but everyone is saying that recently there had not been any,' said Mayor Womack to ABC News, who is both friends with the judge and her husband.

'No words can express the sadness and loss we share tonight as a community after senseless shootings of the husband and son of USDC Judge Esther Salas,' she said.

The mayor said investigators are now 'trying to get a hard make on the vehicle' to try and track the suspect.

'We commit to do all we can to support the family in this time, as well as all law enforcement agencies involved,' Womack said.

The U.S. Marshals have also been called to provide the judge with a security detail, according to a law enforcement official.

One of several high-profile trials Judge Salas has presided over includes the trial of former Real Housewife Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe in a case regarding financial fraud

Judge Salas staggered Teresa and Joe Giudice's sentences so that one of them could be available to take care of their four children

Salas had sat a judge on the U.S. District Court for New Jersey in Newark, for nine years and was the first Hispanic woman to serve on the federal bench in the state.

Before that she spent five years as a magistrate judge, and nine years prior to that as a federal public defender before President Barack Obama nominated her to serve as a District Court Judge in 2010.

The daughter of a Cuban mother and a Mexican father, Salas spent part of her childhood on welfare after a fire destroyed her Union City apartment, according to The Globe.

Her husband, Mark Anderl also works in legal circles and served as an assistant prosecutor in Essex County, New Jersey for ten years before becoming a criminal defense attorney.

Salas met her husband when he was working as a prosecutor and she was working as a law school intern. He spotted her 'getting fingerprinted' and came over to talk to her, she told New Jersey Monthly in February 2018. 'We've been inseparable since 1992,' she said.

The daughter of a Cuban mother and a Mexican father, Judge Salas is well known in the community and often gives talks to school children and gives tours of the court

New Jersey's politicians were quick to react.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said in a statement: 'Judge Salas and her family are in our thoughts at this time as they cope with this senseless act. This tragedy is our latest reminder that gun violence remains a crisis in our country and that our work to make every community safer isn't done.'

'I know Judge Salas and her husband well, and was proud to recommend her to President Obama for nomination to New Jersey's federal bench. My prayers are with Judge Salas and her family, and that those responsible for this horrendous act are swiftly apprehended and brought to justice,' said Democratic New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez in a statement.

The FBI, U.S. Marshals, New Jersey State Police along with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General have been on the scene of the shooting throughout Sunday evening.

'The FBI is investigating a shooting that took place at the home of Judge Esther Salas in North Brunswick Township, NJ early this evening July 19. We are working closely with our state and local partners and will provide additional updates when available,' the bureau said in a statement.

So far, police have not announced any arrests or named any suspects, however the FBI tweeted it was looking for 'one subject' in the shooting.

Anyone who thinks they may have relevant information should call the FBI in Newark at 973-792-3001.

Judge who was the target of an assassination attempt had recently been assigned a case with links to Jeffrey Epstein

Last week, Judge Salas was assigned a case with links to Jeffrey Epstein.

The case sees investors suing Deutsche Bank and its CEO Christian Sewing, alleging the bank made false and misleading statements before it agreed to pay a $150 million fine for compliance failures linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court in Newark, New Jersey, and seeks unspecified damages.

It claims shareholders lost money because of Deutsche Bank's dealings with Epstein, who was implicated in dozens of sexual abuse cases. He died last August at the age of 66 after being found hanging in a Manhattan jail.

New York regulators last week announced Deutsche Bank would pay the fine for 'significant compliance failures' over Epstein and two unrelated cases.

Deutsche Bank declined to comment on the lawsuit. Last week, it said the settlement showed 'how important it is to continue investing in our controls and enhancing our anti-financial crime capabilities'.

The lawsuit also names as defendants Deutsche Bank's finance chief James von Moltke and former CEO John Cryan.

The named plaintiff is Ali Karimi, who lives in Connecticut, according to court documents.

Epstein, 66, was found hanged in his New York City prison cell in August 2019 after he was arrested on sex trafficking charges, and his death was ruled a suicide.

His former lover Ghislaine Maxwell, 58, was arrested on sex trafficking charges at a remote property in New Hampshire on July 2.

She was denied bail on Tuesday and learned she must stay locked up until her trial next summer after she pleaded not guilty.

Judge Salas is not involved with the current Maxwell case due before court in July 2021.

    Remarks as Prepared for Delivery
Good afternoon.  Thank you General Landry for that kind introduction, and thank you to the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) for inviting me to join you today.  It is an honor and privilege to be here with my fellow attorneys general.
Through the Executive Working Group and in various operations, we are working together on several important law enforcement priorities.  Elder Justice is a personal priority for me, and I know the State AGs have been leading the charge for many years.  Derrick Schmidt’s Presidential initiative highlighted the impact of this important issue.  Each year, over three billion dollars are stolen or defrauded from millions of America’s elderly through a variety of malicious scams.  The State AGs are on the front line in this fight to protect the elderly from being exploited, and I pledge the Department’s full support in that effort.
Similarly, human trafficking is an extremely important law enforcement issue for both the DOJ and the States AGs.  Attorneys General Paxton, Healey, Bacerra, Reyes and many others have been leaders in this vital effort.  We worked together to take down backpage.com, and we continue to engage our state partners though our Human Trafficking Prosecutorial Unit.  We look forward to continuing that work with you to make more progress in the year ahead.
In addition to these important priorities, another topic that involves almost every AG in this room and one that also benefits from close federal-state cooperation is the review into market-leading online platforms.
    I. Benefits of Broad State AG Support on Review of Market-Leading Online Platforms
In DC, it’s hard to find many things that everyone agrees on.  One thing that has found wide and bi-partisan support, however, is the government taking a closer look at the leading online platforms and the competitiveness of digital markets.
Online platforms play an important role in our economy and in Americans’ daily lives, often serving as gateways for how we access goods, services, information and even each other.
A few digital platforms in particular have enjoyed significant growth over the past decade.  Consumers now depend on these platforms every day.  Their size and pervasiveness have led to public concerns about the competitive health of these digital markets.
We’ve heard widespread concerns from consumers, businesses and entrepreneurs, including about stagnated innovation, high prices, lack of choice, privacy, transparency, and public safety.  In response, DOJ initiated a review into market-leading online platforms, which we announced publicly last July.
Concerns about online platforms have come from a wide variety of stakeholders, across the political spectrum.  Indeed, almost every State AG is now participating in publicly announced antitrust investigations of Google and Facebook.  I’ve had the benefit of meeting with representatives of these groups at the Department, and believe we have a good cooperative relationship in these efforts.
This is not the first time that the Department of Justice has cooperated with a bi-partisan coalition of State AGs on an antitrust matter involving a digital platform.
When the Department of Justice litigated a case against Microsoft roughly 20 years ago for antitrust violations, it was joined by a coalition of 20 state attorneys general and the District of Columbia.  There are still those in the Department and State AG community, including my friend Tom Miller, who were closely involved and remember it well.
Today, the State AG coalitions investigating Google and Facebook are even bigger than in Microsoft, including almost every state and federal territory.  I think this demonstrates the importance of these issues to Americans across the country, regardless of location or political persuasion.
II. Benefits of a Broad, Holistic Perspective
The benefits of a broad approach to online platforms go beyond building a federal-state partnership.  A broader, holistic perspective is also important as we consider substantive issues raised by the digital economy, both within and outside of the arena of antitrust.
Let me start with antitrust.  Antitrust is a core focus of the Department’s review into market-leading platforms because, ultimately, fair competition can cure many of the ills we see.  In a functioning free market, consumers can demand alternatives that better address their preferences, including for greater privacy, more transparency, or increased safety.  For consumer choice and the free market to work, however, firms have to be playing by the established rules of competition. That’s where antitrust enforcement steps in.
Many online platforms are not only big, but also offer a wide breadth of products and services.  Antitrust enforcers therefore must take an equally broad view of these platforms’ offerings, and the relationships between different markets, products, and business practices.
Let me touch on a few examples of where a broader perspective is useful in an antitrust analysis.
First, a broader perspective requires understanding the characteristics of the market.  This includes looking at whether there are high barriers to entry that prevent or deter new competitors.  For example, digital platform markets are often characterized by economies of scale and scope, including direct and indirect network effects.
Take, for example, direct network effects in social media.  The more users on the same social media platform, the more valuable that platform is overall.  There are benefits to consumers from being on the same network as their friends and family.  At the same time, the existence of such network effects can make it harder for a new platform to attract users.
This positive feedback loop is also inherent in platforms that rely on data and machine-learning.  For example, generally speaking, the more data a search engine has, the better its algorithms for search results can be.  The better the algorithm, the more users it can attract, and with them comes even more data.  And the cycle starts anew.
Digital platforms can also have indirect network effects, meaning the more users on one side of the platform increases the value to users on the other side of the platform.
In Microsoft, for example, there were indirect network effects that created what the court described as an “applications barrier to entry.”  The more consumers that used the Microsoft operating system, the more attractive the platform was to application developers.  Conversely, the more applications that were on the Microsoft operating system, the more attractive the platform was for users.  These indirect network effects created a barrier to entry that helped protect Microsoft’s monopoly.
Network effects are not inherently problematic.  However, where strong network effects create a significant barrier to entry, it can lead to increased market power, which in turn can be used in anticompetitive ways.
Given these dynamics, antitrust enforcers must be particularly vigilant to police for agreements and conduct that harm the competitive process.
Similarly, market power is not itself wrongful.  As I’ve said before, big is not necessarily bad.  Healthy competition creates winners and losers, and the prospect of winning (and the profits that come with it) can drive innovation in the first place.  Success that comes from creating a better, more innovative product should be applauded.  The danger, however, is that a monopolist (even one who earned that status lawfully) can be tempted to use their power to engage in anticompetitive conduct to preserve their dominant position.
Moreover, the existence of market power can change the competitive effects of a business practice.  Conduct that may be procompetitive for a new entrant can become anticompetitive if undertaken by the incumbent 800 pound gorilla.
For example, exclusivity agreements by a new entrant can increase competition by enabling a competitor to attract users with unique offerings, even in markets with strong network effects.  At the same time, exclusive dealing by a monopolist could have the opposite effect by depriving rivals of the inputs or scale necessary to compete.
Bundling, tying, predatory pricing, and certain refusals to deal are other examples of conduct that can become problematic when undertaken by a firm with market or monopoly power.
As digital firms transition from being the disruptive new entrant into an established market leader, they should pay attention to the impact of their business practices.  So too should the antitrust enforcers.
Second, in addition to understanding the dynamics within a market, like barriers to entry and market power, we also need to look at relationships between markets.  This is especially important because today’s digital platforms frequently operate across multiple areas.
A dominant firm may seek to leverage its monopoly power in one market to gain an unfair advantage in another.  In the Microsoft case, for example, a key concern was that Microsoft was abusing its dominant position in operating systems to foreclose competition in browsers.
The relationships between markets can be even more complex in the digital age, with the emergence of new business models and an increasingly important role of data.  Law enforcers need to better understand how consumer data is collected, used, and shared within a firm and with third parties.  Such antitrust inquiries generally require a broader perspective and deeper understanding of how each of these markets function.
Third, taking a broader perspective is particularly important in the context of “free” online services.  Digital platforms are not charities.  When they offer services to consumers for “free,” that just means they are making money somewhere else, either through a different product, from different consumers, or at a different point in time.
The increasing prevalence and complexity of “free” digital services may require a broader perspective.
For example, antitrust enforcers may need to look beyond the free service to better understand a firm’s monetization strategy and incentives.  Enforcers also may need to look more closely at non-price effects.  Fortunately, the long-standing consumer welfare standard enables us to analyze non-price effects on competition, including on quality, innovation, and consumer choice.
A broader perspective also requires looking beyond antitrust.  As we listen to complaints from the public, industry, and experts, it has become clear that not every problem related to online platforms comes within the reach of antitrust law.
Some have therefore proposed expanding the antitrust laws to reach other non-economic harms.  Drastically re-inventing the antitrust laws, however, is neither easy nor advisable.  The Sherman Act has been around for over a century and has proved flexible enough to adapt to a wide variety of industries, including digital platforms.  We are open to considering new tools and targeted modifications, but a wholesale departure from the antitrust laws’ focus on competition is unwarranted.
While we should not distort the antitrust laws, the Department of Justice also cannot ignore real harms to the American people.  Where there are non-competition harms, the Department will consider whether there are other tools – including other legal or policy frameworks – that can help.  We are thinking critically about how the Department, and our state and federal partners, can address other topics related to online platforms, such as privacy, transparency, consumer fraud, child exploitation, or public safety.
One example of a non-antitrust issue related to online platforms is Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.  Generally speaking, Section 230 provides immunity to interactive computer services for third-party content on their platforms.
As this group well knows, there is currently a robust public debate over Section 230.  The NAAG sent a letter to Congress last May, proposing an amendment that would carve out U.S. state and territorial criminal law from the current scope of Section 230 immunity.  We, too, are studying Section 230 and its scope.
The CDA was passed in 1996 in response to concerns about protecting children from sexually explicit content on the internet.  Section 230 was enacted primarily for two purposes.
The primary purpose of the amendment was to encourage platforms to self-regulate by granting immunity for blocking or filtering offensive material.  In particular, the amendment aimed to overrule a 1995 state court decision that treated an online message board as a publisher of third-party content, and thus liable for defamation, because the service restricted access to some, but not other, objectionable material.
Another purpose was to encourage the growth of online forums by immunizing platforms against liability for third party speech.  Section 230 was passed at a time where the internet was relatively new, and Congress wanted to protect the growth of online services and the ability for the internet to offer “a forum for true diversity of political discourse.”
Section 230 has been interpreted quite broadly by the courts.  Today, many are concerned that Section 230 immunity has been extended far beyond what Congress originally intended.  Ironically, Section 230 has enabled platforms to absolve themselves completely of responsibility for policing their platforms, while blocking or removing third-party speech – including political speech – selectively, and with impunity.
Some also question whether such a broad immunity is still necessary to protect online companies.  Indeed, ten years ago, a Ninth Circuit opinion denying Section 230 immunity in part remarked: “The Internet is no longer a fragile new means of communication that could easily be smothered in the cradle by overzealous enforcement of laws and regulations applicable to brick-and-mortar businesses.”  Fair Housing Council of San Fernando Valley v. Roommates.com LLC, 521 F.3d 1157, 1164 n. 15 (9th Cir. 2008).  In other words, the opinion stated:  “the Internet has outgrown its swaddling clothes and no longer needs to be so gently coddled.”  Id. at 1175, n. 39.
The staggering breadth of Section 230 immunity, as construed by the courts, is evident in a recent Second Circuit opinion involving the Anti-Terrorism Act.  See Force v. Facebook, Inc., 934 F.3d 53 (2nd Cir. 2019).  There, the court held that Facebook was immune under Section 230 for allegedly matching and facilitating communications between members of the terrorist group Hamas.  The court denied plaintiff’s argument that Facebook’s algorithms and friend-matching service rendered it a “non-publisher” outside the scope of Section 230.  Id. at 66.
Chief Judge Katzmann dissented in part, criticizing the virtually limitless scope of Section 230 immunity imposed by some courts.  He argued that providing immunity for the steps Facebook took to connect alleged terrorists through algorithm and friend suggestions was far removed from the original purpose of the CDA to protect children against obscene material online.  He called for Congress to revisit the CDA to “better calibrate the circumstances where such immunization is appropriate and inappropriate in light of congressional purposes.”  Id. at 77.
Chief Judge Katzmann is not alone in his calls for reform.  Section 230 has garnered significant attention from experts, consumer groups, and legislators.  Within DOJ, we also have started thinking critically this issue.
The purpose of Section 230 was to protect the “good Samaritan” interactive computer service that takes affirmative steps to police its own platform for unlawful or harmful content.  Granting broad immunity to platforms that take no efforts to mitigate unlawful behavior or, worse, that purposefully blind themselves — and law enforcers — to illegal conduct occurring on, or facilitated by, the online spaces they create, is not consistent with that purpose.
We want to engage further with experts, industry, and other government actors, including the NAAG, through informal discussions as well as a public workshop.
    III. Coordination is Key
As we look at Section 230, antitrust, and other issues raised by the online platforms, it is important to take a coordinated approach.
The issues raised by online platforms are interrelated, and we sometimes must weigh competing interests in forming positions related to the digital economy.
Privacy is a good example.  Overbroad and overly burdensome privacy legislation could inhibit competition by entrenching monopolists with the resources to comply, while thwarting newer entrants who do not have those resources.
A single-minded focus on privacy, above all other values, also can impose significant costs, including costs to public safety.  I have, for example, spoken before about the dangers of warrant-proof encryption.  I won’t repeat myself here, but would simply reiterate that technological innovations that purport to protect privacy at all costs – while impeding sworn law enforcers’ ability to go after violent criminals, child predators, human traffickers, and terrorists, even once the enforcers satisfied the rigorous privacy protections built into the Fourth Amendment — may not be worth the trade-off.
High level coordination in our review of market-leading online platforms also helps avoid imposing conflicting obligations or inconsistent policy positions.  This requires coordination both within and outside DOJ.
While we have some of the best and brightest at the DOJ’s Antitrust Division and across the Department working on these issues, we benefit from the perspective and support of our State AG, federal, and international partners.  We are also welcoming consumers, businesses, experts, and others to talk and work with us to address the challenges of the digital age.
    ***
The technology industry in America has brought great innovations to consumers in the US and around the world.  We must continue to encourage and incentivize innovation and economic growth.  This means not unfairly punishing innovators that have earned their success on the merits.  But it also means making sure markets are competitive and open to the next wave of technological change.
As law enforcers, we also must keep up with technological advancements to best protect our citizens.  This is why we have made the review of market-leading online platforms a top priority of the Department.
The State AG community plays a very important role in this endeavor.  On behalf of DOJ, I thank you all for your valuable partnership and look forward to our continued work together on this and many other initiatives.

The Tale Of Burisma, Hunter Biden, Taggart Romney, Their Daddies, Deutsche Bank & Trafficking Tiny Human Trust Funds With Catholic Charities

This is the tale of Joe Biden, running trafficking tiny human ops out the White House, with the assistance of his brother James and his son.

    Tagg Romney
Mitt Romney's eldest son, Tagg, made a surprise announcement today: He and his wife, Jen, are the new parents of twin boys delivered by a surrogate.

"Happy 2 announce birth of twin boys David Mitt and William Ryder. Big thanks to our surrogate. Life is a miracle," Tagg Romney said via Twitter at 3:17 p.m.

Ten minutes later, his mother, Ann Romney, said in her own tweet: "Grandchildren 17 and 18 are here – congratulations @TRomney and Jen! We can't wait to meet David and William."

Tagg Romney is one of five children of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and his wife. Tagg and Jen Romney had four children previously.

The Associated Press reported it was the second time the couple had used a surrogate. Their son Jonathan was born in 2010 by a surrogate.

Tagg Romney said on his Facebook page that the latest surrogancy was gestational, meaning the new boys are the biological product of him and his wife.

"Everyone is healthy and happy," Tagg Romney wrote. "They weighed in at 5 pounds 13 ounces and 19-3/4 inches, and 6 pounds 13 ounces and 19 inches. A special thanks to our gestational surrogate who made this possible for us. Life truly is a miracle, and we feel so blessed to be able to celebrate the arrival of these precious boys into our family."

His Facebook homepage features a group photo at Fenway Park of him and three of his four brothers.
Both Tagg and Jen Romney are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which encourages its members to have large families and places a premium on genealogical research.

Nonetheless, "The Church strongly discourages surrogate motherhood," says an LDS handbook.

As for adopted children, the handbook says: "Questions regarding the exchange of information and contact between adopted children and their biological parents should be handled with sensitivity. The legal rights and emotional needs of all relevant parties should be considered."

I believe this tale is self explanatory.

They all were stealin' the children, the land and the votes.

As Democrats and the media remain fanatically obsessed with assembling some form of a “quid pro quo” from the infamous Trump-Zelensky phone call, new details have emerged regarding Burisma, the company for which Hunter Biden worked and the company that Ukraine’s top prosecutor had been investigating before Vice President Joe Biden had the prosecutor fired via a months-long pressure campaign. According to web archives, top Mitt Romney adviser Joseph Cofer Black, who publicly goes by “Cofer Black,” joined Burisma’s board of directors while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.

According to The New Yorker, Hunter joined Burisma’s board in April of 2014 and remained on it until he declined to renew his position this past May. Meanwhile, according to Burisma’s website, Black was appointed in February of 2017 and continues to serve on its board. The timelines would indicate that Black and Biden worked together at Burisma, and indeed, web archives from late 2017 show Black and Biden listed simultaneously on the board.

Black joined the CIA in 1974 and eventually climbed the ranks to become director of the National Counterterrorism Center from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, President George W. Bush appointed him ambassador at large and coordinator for counterterrorism. He later worked at Blackwater as a vice chairman before joining Romney’s campaign as a “special adviser” on Romney’s Foreign Policy and National Security Advisory Team in October of 2011. In 2017, Black joined the board of Burisma.

It’s looking increasingly probable that Burisma, the subject of a series of corruption allegations in the past, has been smartly buying Western complacency by slapping a few famous names on its board. In addition to the son of a vice president and a special adviser to a GOP presidential candidate, the board also boasts the former president of Poland from 1995 to 2005, Aleksander Kwaśniewski.

BSF Achieves Dismissal of Claims Against Family Members of Vice President Biden

BSF won a major victory when New York Supreme Court Justice Bernard Fried granted in its entirety the Firm's motion to dismiss all claims filed against BSF's clients, including James and Hunter Biden, the Vice President’s brother and son, respectively, for alleged breach of contract, conversion and fraud arising from a failed acquisition of portions of a hedge fund.

Fund manager sues son and brother of U.S. Senator Biden

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A Deutsche Bank executive is suing a son and a brother of Delaware Sen. Joe Biden for at least $10 million over a deal they had to buy into a hedge fund, according to court documents. Stephane Farouze, who is global head of fund derivatives for Deutsche Bank and lives in London, claimed that Biden’s son Hunter and brother James broke a May 2006 contract and defrauded him after agreeing to buy his membership interests in New York-based Paradigm Companies LLC.

The lawsuit filed in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan in June names Washington lobbyist Hunter Biden, James Biden, and James’s former business partner Anthony Lotito as defendants. On Wednesday, Farouze’s lawyer Marlen Kruzhkov said that the Bidens “never had any intention of carrying out the agreement with my client”.

He said the Bidens and their lawyers have not responded to the complaint. Representatives for the Bidens could not immediately be reached for comment. The lawsuit said that while the Bidens took control of the company, they never paid Farouze the cash they had agreed to pay.

Sen. Biden is a Delaware Democrat who was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972. He has been mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate on Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential ticket. The lawsuit is the second accusing Biden’s relatives of irregularities in their deal to buy hedge fund firm Paradigm. An earlier lawsuit was filed by Lotito in January 2007.

Cocktails & Popcorn: Deutsche Bank Busted Trying To Cover Up Stealin' From The U.S. Treasury - The Treasonous Tale of the Missing SARs

Gather round, my dearies, for I shall tell the tale of Deutsche Bank and the missing SARs.

The New York Times published an article with a toll, that said Deutsche Bank employees were so scared of Trump because of Cohen that they never filed mandated by the U.S. Treasury, Financial Crimes Network, Suspicious Activity Reports, so affectionately called SARs.

As we all know, no one is going to subscribe and pay to read an article when they can just watch youtube or your media news source of choice.

The only one who attempted to cover the tale of the missing SARs was Rachel Maddow, of whom continues to be stunning in her abilities to take the besmirching her profession to levels, unprecedented in paid speech.

She cited the tolled New York Times article as her source, a second hand source, without mentioning the missing SARs from the U.S. Treasury Financial Crimes Network, that was put out in a DOJ press release, that I published, pushing the jejune plot of the "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) over there at Deutsche Bank of employees being so scared of Trump that they would rather risk being charged with treason than to report treason?

    That is treason.

Michael Cohen was that Och Ziff financial management guy over the Children's Trust Funds.

Anyway, that ends the tale of Deutsche Bank trying to implement another one of those schemes concocted by the "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) to cover up its money laundering activities, I would most definitely call treason.

Stealin' from the U.S. Treasury is treason.

I wish someone would just #sayhisname so we can get this Cocktails & Popcorn party started!

DOJ: The Prosperity Prophecy - Children's Slush Trusts & Its Highly Complex Financial Fraud Schemes

The Prosperity Prophecy - Children's Slush Trusts
It is my belief that this is the first time in the history of the Department that trust schemes have ever been examined.

Trust fund laws are a myriad of ancient spells, blended with incogniziable interpretations of "Legal Geniuses" (trademark pending) throughout the ages, who have patchworked the strawman argument with their manufactured propaganda crap, much like you see in the religious fervor of child welfare propaganda, in the cracked out legals structures of international, national and state laws, that either do not exist or have not been touched since WWII.

So, now, you have a scourge of mom & pop tax shops promoting the oxyomronic claim of being able to teach you how to be a sovereign citizen, which I am absolutely fascinated in listening to their fallacies when explaining how one can contemporaneously be sovereign yet still be a citizen.

It is quite cocktails & popcorn worthy, but I digress.

Wherever did these mom & pop tax shops come up with this brilliant scheme, and the ability to actually execute it?

I am going to go with Prosperity Prophecies (also called Prosperity Gospel, Prosperity Theology) as my final answer.

Mom & Pop probably went to a Thursday night seminar at their church where they had a guest speaker telling them, for a small investment fee, they could buy themselves into the asset class of the born again through the sovereign citizen franchise.

I know Pat Robets promoted the prosperity prophecies through the christian industry of trafficking tiny humans, which is what I refer to as foster care and adoption, for those of you just joining us.

The Prosperity Prophceies fraud schemes become far more complex as one ascends the ranks of christian leadership, like Franklin Graham and his children's slush trust (<=== I just came up with that one).

Once the mom & pop tax shop has mastered the art of the sovereign citizen children's slush trust, they need to approach the promised land of asset management.

Praise the Lord, the recordkeeper of the land, and all chattels attached.

The purpose of listing all these asset management operations' links is to demonstrate how highly complex the children's slush trusts are structured for stealin' the children, land and votes when it comes to those Social Impact Bonds through Public Private Partnerships.

This is not the first time DOJ has broached the issues of questionable activities with trusts, but it is just now, I believe, that the boys and girls in some of those special Smarty Pants financial intelligence global collectives have finally witnessed the transposable model.

Oh My Goodness, Broken Trust Forgot Child Welfare Fraud

Basically, there are many, many more schemes out there when it comes to children's slush trusts, because they are typically UCCs, where the proper jurisdiction of prosecution is international, unless, you can come up with some really brilliant Old School Civil Rights Legal Dogs who will find an alternative approach to justice.

In this particular case, you are just looking at the low hanging fruit on in the highly complex financial world of children's slush trusts.

The concept of children's trusts originates far deeper in history than within the confines of Ecclessiastical law, which is why the Prosperity Prophecy is just another christian propaganda crusade, promising blessings from God, in the form of foreign, tax aversive trusts.

DC and Maryland Residents in Scheme to File Fraudulent Tax Returns and Obstruct the IRS

The indictment charges Johnny and Maria Moore, from the District of Columbia, along with Charese Johnson, aka Charese Adesalu, from Aberdeen, Maryland, with conspiring to defraud the United States in an effort to obtain fraudulent  refunds from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).  The indictment also charges the Moores with aiding and assisting in the preparation of false trust tax returns (Forms 1041), and filing their own false amended personal income tax returns (Forms 1040X) with the IRS.  Additionally, Johnson is charged with aiding and assisting the Moores in preparing their false Forms 1040X.
To further the scheme, the Moores, together with Johnson and another co-conspirator, allegedly prepared and filed tax returns that claimed either false withholdings or false credits.  Based on those alleged falsities, they requested significant refunds to which they were not entitled.  The Moores allegedly received a refund of over $500,000 for one trust tax return filed for the 2012 tax year.  As charged in the indictment, when the IRS sought to recoup that refund, Johnson conspired with the Moores and others to obstruct the IRS collection efforts.
If convicted, the defendants each face a maximum sentence of 5 years for the conspiracy charge, and 3 years for each of the false return charges.  The defendants also face substantial monetary penalties, supervised release, and restitution.
Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Zuckerman commended special agents of Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation, who investigated this case, and Trial Attorneys Abigail Burger Chingos and Jeffrey McLellan of the Tax Division, who are prosecuting this case.
An indictment merely alleges that crimes have been committed. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Additional information about the Tax Division and its enforcement efforts may be found on the division’s website.
