Christian evangelist Ravi Zacharias will be honored in a livestream memorial service this week.

Zacharias died May 19 at the age of 74. The service will be streamed live at RZIM.org/RaviMemorial on May 29 at 11 a.m. ET.

“The story of the gospel is the story of eternal life. My life is unique and will endure eternally in God’s presence. I will never be ‘no more.’ I will never be lost because I will be with the One who saves me,” Zacharias wrote in Seeing Jesus from the East.

Zacharias founded Ravi Zacharias International Ministries in 1984. His ministry equipped some 100 Christian scholars and authors to travel the world and speak to millions of people.

Former football star Tim Tebow, Louis Giglio, Brooklyn Tabernacle Senior Pastor Jim Cymbala and others are expected to speak at Ravi’s memorial service. Matt Redman and Lecrae will also perform.

In lieu of flowers, the Zacharias family has asked that donations be made to RZIM.

Zacharias was best known as a top Christian apologist.

"(Ravi) saw the objections and questions of others not as something to be rebuffed, but as a cry of the heart that had to be answered," said Michael Ramsden, president of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries.

"People weren't logical problems waiting to be solved; they were people who needed the person of Christ. Those who knew him well will remember him first for his kindness, gentleness, and generosity of spirit. The love and kindness he had come to know in and through Jesus Christ was the same love he wanted to share with all he met."

As Christian Headlines previously reported, Zacharias wrote more than 30 books and preached in some 70 countries during his 48-year career. He was born in India and converted to Christianity as a teenager after reading the Bible in the hospital while recovering from a failed suicide attempt.

Zacharias is survived by his wife, Margie, daughters Sarah and Naomi, son, Nathan, and five grandchildren.

• The foreign child welfare NGO is run by lots of nasty christians who do nasty things to children, like grooming for prostitution, missionary position, of course.
• The foreign child welfare NGO will bring the teen girls to the U.S. through adoption or modeling, under the Mann Act and Immigration and Naturalization Act.
• The teen girls end up working in these spas turning tricks to survive.
• The profits from the spas may just end up laundering money in real estate, drugs, and political campaigns in the form of bribery or blackmail.
• Then, selling chattel all becomes cultural norm of foreign corporations to launder money.

Robert Kraft prostitution scandal exposes depth of modern slavery, sex trafficking industry

Law enforcement officers who conducted a monthslong sting operation on the Jupiter, Fla., spa where New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was accused last month of soliciting prostitution, seized nearly $200,000 from the business and arrested the owner and manager on felony charges, according to court records released Tuesday.

Jupiter police who raided the local Orchids of Asia Spa reportedly found $183,000 in bank safety deposit boxes belonging to spa owner and manager Hua Zhang and Lei Wang, search warrants indicate. The officers also froze nine bank accounts belonging to Zhang and Wang and seized the spa’s surveillance equipment, according to records.

Zhang and Wang were taken into custody on a slew of felony charges involving a prostitution business, while Kraft faces a misdemeanor solicitation charge. Zhang, a 58-year-old legal resident of the U.S., has pleaded not guilty and is now under house arrest under a $278,000 bond, the Sun-Sentinel of South Florida reported. Wang, 39, has also pleaded not guilty and is still in custody on a $256,000 bond, the report said.

The seized cash and surveillance equipment was part of a multi-jurisdiction investigation that involved the closing of 10 spas between Palm Beach and Orlando and the arrests of 300 men. While no one has been charged with human trafficking, authorities have said they believe the spa’s employees were brought to the U.S. from China.

An investigation began in October and surveillance began in early November, the Miami Herald reported, citing search warrants. Officers said they observed nearly 80 men enter the spa and leave after 30 or 60 minutes, the report said. Some customers were pulled over for traffic violations after they left and admitted to paying for sex acts, the warrants show.

By mid-November, a female health inspector went into the spa and later told officers there was evidence that the three female workers were living in the store. Officers then searched trash bins behind the spa and reportedly found evidence of sexual activity.

On Jan. 17, after obtaining a warrant, officers used an undescribed “tactical ruse” to get the employees outside and secretly install surveillance cameras. As officers chatted with the employees, Zhang arrived and told officers she could see their arrival on her cellphone, tipping them off that she had her own camera system installed, the documents show. Officers were able to find those cameras and their recorders, which were later seized.

Police say Kraft, 77, first visited two days after the cameras were installed and again the next morning, shortly before he flew to Kansas City, where he saw his team defeat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Investigators say they videotaped him engaging in sex acts during both visits and then handing over cash. Kraft, who is reportedly worth $6 billion, handed over a $100 bill and another bill after one visit, records show, and an undetermined amount during the other. Two weeks later, the Patriots won the Super Bowl, their sixth under his ownership.

Kraft was charged in late February and has pleaded not guilty. Most men charged for the first time with soliciting are eligible for a diversion program where they pay a $5,000 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and attend a class where they learn about the dangers of prostitution and how it is often tied to human trafficking.

In 1991, a woman died in childbirth. The husband left the baby with the poor grandfather, who said three days later, “If someone doesn’t take this baby, I will throw her into the river!” With that, our BTEA staff members Bert and Ray Gauran took the baby and named her “Queenie.” Queenie was our first orphan!

As a result, an orphanage was founded by the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association to provide a Christian home for orphaned Filipino children. The orphanage was later named “Uncle Dick’s Home” after Richard Fowler, a neighbor of the Tebows, who became like a member of their family. They led him to Christ, and he supported the ministry in many ways through the years. Upon his death, he left BTEA a sum of money to be used to establish the orphanage.

Uncle Dick’s Home is located in Lamsugod, Surallah, South Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines, and is home to 49 orphans and 13 staff.

The orphanage is an amazing place with a play area, fruit trees, a garden, a modern kitchen, and gorgeous landscaping.
