WASHINGTON, Aug. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Children's Health Defense (CHD) filed a lawsuit on Monday in San Francisco Federal Court charging Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, and three fact-checking companies with censoring truthful public health posts and fraudulently misrepresenting and defaming CHD. CHD, a non-profit watchdog group exposing wrongdoing and corruption in pharmaceutical and Telecom companies and public health agencies including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), has also sued the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for wireless health concerns.

In its Complaint, CHD alleges that Facebook has insidious conflicts with Pharmaceutical companies and their captive health regulators, and is invested in telecom and 5G. Facebook currently censors CHD's page, targeting its purge against factual information about vaccines and 5G.

Facebook acknowledges censorship coordination with WHO and CDC. While earlier court decisions have upheld Facebook's right to censor content, CHD argues that Facebook's pervasive Government collaboration makes its censorship a First Amendment violation. Facebook censorship began at the urging of Congressman Adam Schiff, who in March 2019 suggested Facebook suppress and purge content critical of government vaccine policies.

The lawsuit also challenges Facebook's use of so-called "independent fact-checkers"—who are neither independent nor fact-based—to create oppositional content on CHD's page, literally superimposed over CHD's original content. To further silence CHD's dissent against government policies and critique of Pharma, Facebook deactivated CHD's donate button and used deceptive technology (i.e. shadow banning) to minimize CHD's reach and visibility. In short, Facebook and the government colluded to silence CHD and its followers. Such tactics are fundamentally at odds with the First Amendment, which forbids Government from censoring private speech—particularly speech that criticizes Government policies or officials.

The court will decide whether Facebook's new Government-directed business model of false and misleading "warning labels," deceptive "fact-checks," and disabling a non-profit's donate button passes muster under the First and Fifth Amendments, the Lanham Act, and RICO. Those statutes protect CHD against online wire-fraud and false disparagement.

Kodak deal with US government to produce pharmaceuticals appears to be on hold

An agreement between the US government and Kodak to develop generic drug ingredients appears to be on hold, after the US International Development Finance Corporation tweeted that “recent allegations of wrongdoing raise serious concerns.”

“We will not proceed any further unless these allegations are cleared,” the agency tweeted, without specifying what the allegations were.

Kodak said Friday it was conducting an internal review of recent activity by the company in connection with a $765 million loan it would receive under the Defense Production Act to produce pharmaceuticals. The company’s stock price surged in the days before the deal was announced, CBS News reported, leading Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to call for the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate whether there were any instances of insider trading.

Kodak, best known for its camera and film equipment, said it planned to create a new business arm called Kodak Pharmaceuticals to make ingredients that have “lapsed into chronic national shortage.” Kodak CEO Jim Continenza told The Wall Street Journal that he expected pharmaceuticals to become 30 to 40 percent of the company’s business. The company’s plans included production of ingredients for drugs such as hydroxychloroquine, according to The Wall Street Journal. President Trump has touted hydroxychloroquine as a possible treatment for COVID-19, despite evidence that the anti-malaria drug has been ineffective against the virus.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), chair of the House Financial Services Committee and other Democrats sent a letter to DFC head Adam Boehler August 4th asking why the agency was supporting a loan for Kodak, “an organization that was on the brink of failure in 2012 and was unsuccessful in its previous foray into pharmaceutical manufacturing, in its efforts to develop the capacity to produce up to 25 percent of domestic pharmaceutical components.” The committee is asking to see all communications concerning the loan.

Seoul City Mayor Park Won-soon Is Extracted From His Public Private Partnership With Duke University Carmichael Roberts For Gerrymandering Just Like They Did In Detroit

I just do not understand why this reminds me of Mike Duggan and what he did to Detroit, which was supposed to be a Smart City.

It seems Park Won-soon entered, on behalf of the City of Seoul, into a Public Private Partnership with Carmichael Roberts, just like Duggan did with the Detroit Land Bank Authority.

I wonder if Carmichael and Park had any Detroit Land Bank Authority investment properties in their portfolio.

We should as Carmichael because Park has been extracted from humanity.

Park Won-soon is the Mayor of Seoul, Korea. Park was born in a village in Changnyeong, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, on March 26, 1956. He graduated from Kyunggi High School in 1974 and entered Seoul National University in 1975. Shortly after entering university, he was arrested for participating in a student rally against the militant dictatorship of President Park Chung Hee and imprisoned for 4 months and expelled from university. Later, he entered Dankook University and earned a bachelor’s degree in history.

Park passed the state bar examinations in 1980, and worked as a public prosecutor in the Daegu District Court in Gyeongsang Province from 1982 to 1983. Returning to Seoul from Daegu, he launched into private law practice. He worked as a human rights lawyer and defended many political activists in the 1980s and 1990s.

In 1991, Park traveled with his family to London and earned a diploma in international law at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the University of London in 1992. Back in South Korea, in 1994, Park founded the People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy, a non-profit, non-partisan civic organization formed with the purpose of promoting participatory democracy and securing human rights in South Korea.

In 2000, Park founded the Beautiful Foundation, with the aim of promoting a culture of philanthropy in South Korea. And in 2002, he founded the Beautiful Store, a second-hand store aiming to spread the culture of giving and sharing with others.

In 2006, Park founded the Hope Institute, a think-tank with the goal of applying policy alternatives based on the ideas of ordinary citizens.

Park was elected as Mayor of Seoul, South Korea on October 26, 2011. He was elected as an independent candidate, with the support of the Democratic Party and the Democratic Labor Party. He joined the Democratic United Party on February 23, 2012.

In the June 4 local elections in 2014, Park ran for Mayor again, and was re-elected. His new four-year term officially began on July 1, 2014.

Longtime Seoul City Mayor Park Won-soon was found dead, police said on Friday, after his daughter reported him missing saying he had left a message “like a will.”

After a search involving hundreds of police, the mayor’s body was found at Mt Bugak in northern Seoul around midnight, near where his phone signal had last been detected, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said.

It did not give a cause of death. Police official Choi Ik-soo told reporters at a televised briefing at the scene there was no sign of foul play although a detailed investigation would be needed.

The Yonhap news agency said a former secretary of Park had filed a complaint on Wednesday over alleged incidents of sexual harassment.

Choi said an investigation was under way after a criminal complaint had been lodged against Park, without elaborating.

Park’s daughter reported him missing at 5:17 p.m. (0817 GMT) and said his phone was off and that he had left a message “like a will,” Yonhap reported.

As mayor of the city of nearly 10 million people, Park was one of South Korea’s most influential politicians and played a high-profile role in its response to the coronavirus pandemic.

He was seen as a potential presidential hopeful for the liberals in the 2022 presidential elections.

The discovery of his body followed a hours-long night search in one of the most mountainous and scenic parts of Seoul just a few minutes from the heart of the metropolitan capital, involving hundreds of police using drones and dogs.

Park left the mayor’s official residence at around 10:40 a.m. (0140 GMT) on Thursday, wearing a black hat and a backpack, having canceled policy meetings scheduled for the day, according to multiple local reports.

Formerly a prominent human rights activist and lawyer, Park had been the mayor of Seoul since 2011, pursuing a slew of policies promoting gender equality.

As a lawyer in the 1990s, he won one of South Korea’s earliest cases on sexual harassment, and strongly advocated for the cause of “comfort women,” those who were forced to work in Japan’s wartime military brothels before and during World War Two, when Japan occupied Korea.

Park also praised women for their courage after a series of women accused powerful politicians and policymakers of sexual wrongdoings amid the #MeToo movement in 2018.

“The resolve of individual heroines is not enough. I think we need social solidarity,” he said, calling for support for the movement.

He also played a vocal role in the massive candlelight demonstrations that helped lead to the ousting of former President Park Geun-hye in 2017.

We would like to examine the risk factors for this, especially the contribution of a person’s genetic makeup. Participants will provide blood and urine samples, to examine the relationship between genetics and kidney problems. We will be approaching potential participants in clinic. To take part, patients must have HIV infection and have been born (or have parents who were born) in sub-Saharan Africa or the Caribbean.

Dismantle the Office of Children's Ombudsman and let local peace officers make referrals for
assistance, like calling one of the relatives or someone who cares to step in and help the family.

Stop stealin' the children, the land and the votes.

Stop making people poor.

If there is a crime, put it through law enforcement channels of due process.

Take a big red marker and rescind the entire Child Welfare Law in Michigan, but you will have to start with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, first.

Prosecute everyone at the Michigan Children's Institute in a federal jurisdiction, where I can come up with lots of antitrust law violations to start, and I would not dismiss the idea of war crimes.

Revoke the licenses, dissolve contracts, prosecute and recover every single last penny from these foreign corporate, privately contracted Child Placing Agencies, where you can start with the Michigan Catholic Conference.

Every "Elected One" who has taken political campaign funding from child welfare NGOs should be defrocked of office.

Commence federal asset forfeiture for every pharmaceutical which has engaged in drugging of Michigan's drugging of children, including every use of Foster Children as lab rats.

I understand that these concepts of trafficking tiny humans for revenue maximization of foreign corporations in Michigan are going to be difficult to understand, but that is why we have a justice system and hand held devices to watch as it goes down, in real time.

What about the Foster Children who are raped, denied education, beaten, tortured or will these continue to be omitted from the public discourse as "Valid-Not-Opened" category of investigations of the Children's Ombudsman Office?

Anyway, this is not the first time the concept of fixin' to do somethin' has come up in legislative initiatives because this has been going on since the Emancipation Proclamation because it all started here, in Michigan.

I believe the public should be able to see the billions upon billions profited off children of "The Poors" (always said with clinched teeth) and the faces of those "Elected Ones" who did absolutely nothing but take another fashion show selfie.

Will Nancy Edmunds do anything besides let Michigan drop another $100 million to the people who already got $200 million for a antiquated SACWIS that needs to be sent back to the 20th century from whence it came?

Probably not, but I bet more children will be beaten, drugged, raped, tortured, attempt suicide and successfully execute suicide to escape from Foster Care, while Nancy Edmunds allows the case to linger another decade in her courtroom.

This may be a tall order but it is always best to understand that not everyone can eat an entire bowl of rice at one time, and, in this instance we shall start with two grains of rice, the first being Ricky Holland, who died, brutally, and another little boy, who used to die, then come back, and die, and be drugged more, raped, beaten, tortured, die, then come back to survive a life of hell in Michigan's Foster Care System.

Panel: Public should see findings on child deaths in Michigan welfare system

Lansing – A legislative oversight panel says the public should see the results of state investigations into the deaths of children who are involved with Michigan’s child welfare system.

The recommendation was included in a report adopted unanimously Thursday by the House Oversight Committee. It stems from lawmakers’ review of an audit released in April that found that the state Department of Health and Human Services did not notify the Office of Children’s Ombudsman of 206, or 20%, of child deaths from 2014 through 2017 because workers did not check a box in a cumbersome software system.

The office independently investigates complaints involving children who are under state oversight for reasons of abuse or neglect, and checks to see if public or private agencies followed laws and policies.

Current law only lets people who can file complaints with the ombudsman’s office – including parents, guardians, their attorneys, mandated reporters or legislators – get the written findings, recommendations and DHHS response to the ombudsman’s investigation. The House panel recommended that the ombudsman be required or allowed to publicly release the information.

A similar recommendation was made by the children’s ombudsman in her most recent annual report.

“This is an issue of transparency. It’s an issue of accountability,” said Rep. Matt Hall, a Marshall Republican who chairs the committee.

Another recommendation would give the ombudsman discretion to do preliminary investigations – not full reviews – in child death cases, freeing the agency to focus on complaints involving living children who remain in the system.

Children’s Ombudsman Lisa McCormick, who was appointed to the post by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in January, told lawmakers in June that there is value in looking at every child death but her office should have leeway, particularly because some deaths are accidental and not the result of violence.

“When you have the discretion to make those decisions on which cases you fully investigate, you can focus your attention on the real issues in child welfare and address those,” she said.

Rep. David LaGrand, a Grand Rapids Democrat, said there are instances where “death happens for some tragic reason that had nothing to do with good parenting. To put those parents through a complete investigation when early on you are confident that this was not anything the parents could have or should have done differently is to put traumatized people through a really crummy experience.”

The panel also said whatever software replaces the failed MiSACWIS system should provide a more efficient way for child deaths to be reported to the ombudsman.

The state is pulling the plug on the network that was rolled out in 2014 and which has cost more than $200 million to build and service.

In March, U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds told state officials to come up with a solution after an expert reported an “unmanageable backlog of defects, incidents, and data fixes” that might never end.

A BILL

To amend the Controlled Substances Act to provide for a new rule regarding the application of the Act to marihuana, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Strengthening the Tenth Amendment Through Entrusting States Act” or the “STATES Act” .

SEC. 2. RULE REGARDING APPLICATION TO MARIHUANA.

(a) In General.—Part G of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following:

“RULE REGARDING APPLICATION TO MARIHUANA

“Sec. 710. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the provisions of this title as applied to marihuana, other than the provisions described in subsection (c) and other than as provided in subsection (d), shall not apply to any person acting in compliance with State law relating to the manufacture, production, possession, distribution, dispensation, administration, or delivery of marihuana.

“(b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the provisions of this title related to marihuana, other than the provisions described in subsection (c) and other than as provided in subsection (d), shall not apply to any person acting in compliance with the law of a Federally recognized Indian tribe within its jurisdiction in Indian Country, as defined in section 1151 of title 18, United States Code, related to the manufacture, production, possession, distribution, dispensation, administration, or delivery of marihuana so long as such jurisdiction is located within a state that permits, respectively, manufacture, production, possession, distribution, dispensation, administration, or delivery of marihuana.

“(c) The provisions described in this subsection are—

“(1) section 401(a)(1), with respect to a violation of section 409 or 418;

“(2) section 409;

“(3) section 417; and

“(4) section 418.

“(d) Subsection (a) shall not apply to any person who—

“(1) violates the Controlled Substances Act with respect to any other controlled substance;

“(2) notwithstanding compliance with State or tribal law, knowingly or intentionally manufactures, produces, possesses, distributes, dispenses, administers, or delivers any other marihuana in violation of the laws of the State or tribe in which such manufacture, production, possession, distribution, dispensation, administration, or delivery occurs; or

“(3) employs or hires any person under 18 years of age to manufacture, produce, distribute, dispense, administer, or deliver marihuana.”.

(b) Definition Of Marihuana.—Section 102(16) of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802(16)) is amended—

(1) by striking “or the sterilized” and inserting “the sterilized”; and

(2) by striking the period at the end and inserting “, or industrial hemp (as defined in section 7606(b) of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (7 U.S.C. 5940(b))).”.

SEC. 3. TRANSPORTATION SAFETY OFFENSES.

Section 409 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 849) is amended—

(1) in subsection (b), in the matter preceding paragraph (1)—

(A) by striking “A person” and inserting “Except as provided in subsection (d), a person”; and

(B) by striking “subsection (b)” and inserting “subsection (c)”;

(2) in subsection (c), in the matter preceding paragraph (1)—

(A) by striking “A person” and inserting “Except as provided in subsection (d), a person”; and

(B) by striking “subsection (a)” and inserting “subsection (b)”; and

(3) by adding at the end the following:

“(d) Exception.—Subsections (b) and (c) shall not apply to any person who possesses, or possesses with intent to distribute marihuana in compliance with section 710.”.

SEC. 4. DISTRIBUTION TO PERSONS UNDER AGE 21.

Section 418 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 859) is amended—

(1) in subsection (a), in the first sentence, by inserting “and subsection (c) of this section” after “section 419”;

(2) in subsection (b), in the first sentence, by inserting “and subsection(c) of this section” after “section 419”; and

(3) by adding at the end the following:

“(c) Subsections (a) and (b) shall not apply to any person at least 18 years of age who distributes medicinal marihuana to a person under 21 years of age in compliance with section 710.”.

SEC. 5. RULE OF CONSTRUCTION.

(a) In General.—Conduct in compliance with this Act and the amendments made by this Act—

(1) shall not be unlawful;

(2) shall not constitute trafficking in a controlled substance under section 401 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 841) or any other provision of law; and

(3) shall not constitute the basis for forfeiture of property under section 511 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 881) or section 981 of title 18, United States Code.

(b) Proceeds.—The proceeds from any transaction in compliance with this Act and the amendments made by this Act shall not be deemed to be the proceeds of an unlawful transaction under section 1956 or 1957 of title 18, United States Code, or any other provision of law.

If you go after the public corruption, you would not have injustice.

How come House Judiciary will not hold any hearings on public corruption?

Well, it would be difficult to hold hearings when you are the subject of the hearings.
