Well, it looks like John Conyers, III has other candidates in the race!

It also looks as if the Office of the Wayne County Clerk updated the list on April 24, 2018 at 11:39 a.m.

This is a bit of an arcane system to find out the status of a candidate and an election, having to constantly check the website to see if someone updated the pdf list.

Seriously?

I believe I would be conservative in stating that 99% of the electorate for the 13th Congressional District of Michigan has no idea about elections in Michigan, or the process in which one becomes an official candidate, or how one officially withdraws as a candidate, or a few other challenges.

I will be popping by the Office to take a peek at the petition nomination sheets and to make sure that I have enough popcorn stocked up.

Let us extend a warm welcome to David "The Dude" Dudenhoefer (to the 2 year term) and Kentiel White (to the partial term ending 1-3-2018) to the U.S. Representative Michigan 13th Congressional 2018 race.
