Our desire to share our passion and care to these children led to many other children who are just as needy as our original target clients.
The unfortunate colosal calamity from the Mt. Pinatubo eruption gave us the opportunity to get the support of many caring Americans especiailly the Filipinos in the USA.
Immediately, we started sending goods (clothes, toys food and other) we collected from different schools, churches, companies and organizations. Funds we collected from generous individuals allowed us to work with groups and communites in the Philippines to serve meals and distribute food needed by the people.
Today, after more than 22 years the Philippine Children's Fund of America is energized with renewed hope and excitment in providing better programs and services that involves the participation of our clients to help break the dole-out system through its "Work for Food Program" focusing on helping save the environment. while giving the needy the opportunity to help themselves.
Giving is more fun with Philippine Children's Fund because its two in one, its about building better lives and stronger communities...

I found this on Steemit.com where it linked back to the Las Vegas shooter.
Without going into theories being generated about the shooting, this is what I found to be of interest.
Why is a Phillipine Children's Trust Fund, linked up through United Way as a bundler for federal employee contributions from the Congressional Credit Union?
There are three issues here:
(1) I see the words "Children's Trust Fund";
(2) It is an international child welfare organization;
(3) This Children's Fund is directly linked to the Congressional Credit Union, the same Credit Union which is part of a federal investigation.

I can only speculate at this time but I believe that the same exact schemes are going on in the States, that is how I am about to call this out.
Through direct deposit of federal employee contributions into the Credit Union, whether the employees are legitimate or fictitious, funds are transferred to the United Way, which disburses to other charities, or in this instance, children's trust fund which is nothing more than a website, an email and a few photos of cute kids.

His name is Joshua Dubois.
A White House official lauded the anti-sex trafficking campaign...and vowed that the United States Government will continue its partnership with government agencies and civil society groups in fighting “modern-day slavery.”
Joshua DuBois, special assistant to US President Barack Obama and executive director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, talked with stakeholders of the anti-sex trafficking campaign in Cebu last Thursday..."I want to applaud the government here, the police department, the prosecutors and the NGOs (nongovernment organizations) for the work they are putting in to help (sex trafficking victims)...Our approach as the United States Government is to think about how we can partner with you to continue and to strengthen that work”
All I can say is that, for as long as I have been saying that child welfare is human trafficking, I have yet to be proven wrong.
There needs to be an extensive investigation and audit of the Congressional Credit Union, and something tells me it is already ongoing because there is child welfare fraud going on.
