The White House has launched a data approach initiative, yes, I call it an initiative, to "re-do" foster care by bringing it high tech with apps and billing algorithms.
Great.
Still, as we speak, at no time has the White House ever addressed the fact that there are no civil rights in child welfare.
There are no reportable categories to even capture data of what goes on behind the iron curtain of child welfare.

This man's story is the story of many boys and girls in foster care.
The only difference was he made it out to survive.
The only difference was he made it out to survive.
In fact, I personally know foster youth who were removed from the home for simple reasons such as not being able to access health care or police just going to the wrong address, and were treated far worse than him.
Much, much worse, and people got paid, in the name of God.
What is even more repugnant is the fact that there are no datakeeping.
