When Is a Law Good For Adults, But Not Children?

Bill to raise police role in campus sex assault cases

Universities would have to notify the police of sexual assault reports they receive before launching internal investigations, under proposed federal legislation.
Alright.  Let us examine this federal initiative to have universities notify police of sexual assault reports under the colorful lens of child welfare.

When a child is sexually assaulted in foster care, not only is it a non-reportable issue, but there is a strong likelihood that the child will be prescribed a cocktail of psycotropics, therapy for being oppositionally defiant, stay in foster care, with the aggressor, to be sexually assaulted again, for even a longer period of time, for the purposes of billing Medicaid.
