When a child ages out of foster care, the only option is survival, no matter what it takes. In numerous instances these young girls end up working in the strip bars or prostituting on local street corners.
It is about time Michigan realizes it can no longer run away from the problems it has created and take advantage of new resources to address the issues of children in human trafficking, even in foster care.
