U.S. Representative John Conyers, Jr. |
“I am pleased to announce that the Federal Transit Administration’s State of Good Repair program has awarded Southeast Michigan a $30 million grant to modernize and repair its decaying transit system. This competitive grant will be used to renovate its fixed-route fleets, to purchase buses, to enhance security measures, and to revitalize neglected facilities. I can say with a distinct sense of pride that this initiative will improve the efficiency and safety of our transportation system.”
