This is the Order of the Michigan Supreme Court denying Michigan Department of Human Services request to circumvent the Court of Appeals.
The case is centered around the question of the Director (in a high British accent) the Madame Corrigan, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, possessing the power to determine eligibility for cash assistance.
Interestingly, the dissent noted that the state would suffer at a loss of estimated $7 million a month.
