Is Everybody Getting Ready For Child Abuse Propaganda Month Yet?
Find Out What You Can Do to Mark Child Abuse Prevention Month in April
Child Abuse Prevention Month takes place in April, just a few weeks from now. This year, the observance will take on even greater meaning because of the dramatic, nationwide impact of the allegations of child abuse and failure to report the abuse surrounding Penn State and Jerry Sandusky. "We hope communities throughout Pennsylvania will see this as an opportunity to offer a positive message about how to combat child abuse," said Angela Liddle, executive director of the Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA).
Note: Child Abuse Propaganda month preaches misinformation, fluffs numbers and blows the problem of child abuse out of proportion. For the last couple of years I have demonstrated how they do this, by pointing out how they pick the number of pinwheels to plant in the ground based on the number of calls to the hotline, which of course has nothing to do with the number of substantiated cases of abused or neglected children. Calls are often screened out. Reports are often unsubstantiated. Accusations are often made without merit. I'm sure I will find cases like this, this year.
I have also simplified this year's formula for figuring things out. Simply subtract 15 to 25% from the number of calls to the child abuse hotline. This will give you a pretty good guesstimate as to how many lying assed and full of shit CPS rats there are in any given demographic area.
