HHS Begins To Wake Up About Medicaid Fraud In Foster Care

Let's look at this initiative to encourage the States to monitor psychotropic use in foster care.  But first, let's all have a little chortle as you know what is about to happen... I am going to find the flaws because foster kids are lab rats.
Children in foster care represent only three percent of children covered by Medicaid,1 yet, based on a study of pharmacy claims in 16 States, foster children enrolled in Medicaid were prescribed antipsychotic medications at nearly nine times the rate of other children receiving Medicaid.2
Actually, this is false.  Foster care programs do not properly report through SACWIS.  At times, the numbers are delayed when entering into the system for issues normally surrounding improper and questionable costs.

Michigan could never have participated in this study as it does not even maintain how much it spends on child Medicaid, let alone foster care medical.  It is the only state that does not report.  As for Michigan's foster care reporting of children on psychotropic meds, well, it is so sad what they do to children.

The more you drug a kid, the more money you can bill for.  This was true in the Ricky Holland case as well as a case that has led me to my mission.
HHS Letter To States Medical Director To Monitor Psychotroic Prescriptions In Foster Care

This study was based on the study below.  It is so flawed with imperfect data but at least it is a start because the picture is worse than what is presented.

Foster care is a secret society where one would decry "confidentiality" or "best interests of the child" to keep from reveling its activities of drugging kids.

Foster care generates false reports to justify its system which I prefer to call child abuse propaganda,

The GAO is suppose to be doing a study on the drugging of foster children but they hit a brick wall when I pointed out there was a design flaw in the method.  With the greatest of intentions, the GAO had put out a call to action asking people to send in cases.

It was the wrong contact information.

People were sending their cases to the GAO  I got in touch with the principal engaged in the study.  Basically, due to confidentiality law in foster care, they could not use real cases.  Instead, they went along with the data from the States Medical Directors, which, as I stated before, were corrupt.

All in all, it is a start and I thank all who are finally listening to an original source.
