Adoptive Father Paid By State Murders and Tortures Child

I still do not understand why it is such a shock for child protective services to allow a child to be murdered.

What most probably did not catch in this story was that fact the children were special needs.  They were high priced meal tickets who were probably removed from their parents because they could not afford medical care.

The same thing happened in Michigan.  Superintendent Bill Johnson of the Michigan Children's Institute approved the adoption of murdered little boy, Ricky Holland's two siblings while the murder investigation was going on.  Maura Corrigan, the current Director of Michigan Department of Human Services ran a television commercial as a political campaign ad days after the murder of this child to have the people of Michigan thank her for all she has done for foster care and adoption in the state.

It happens all the time and the only thing people will do about it is to ask for more funding.
