Doing The Work Of The Lord - $7 Million Christian Children's Trust Fund Operation Ends In 15 Goods Are Destroyed In A Haitian Warehouse Fire

The slave trade never ended.

They just got a 501c3, sometimes, a website and an online payment services, set up a children's trust fund, and, voila', you are now doing the work of the lord in saving the savages, by salvaging their souls through the global foster care and adoption system of child welfare.

Praise the lord, for there are many of these human asset management operations around the world.

Pennsylvania Evangelicals, Accused of Being a Cult, Operated Unlicensed Orphanage

The dead count from the orphanage fire at Church of Bible Understanding rose to 15 by late Friday afternoon after all the bodies of the children were recovered. The operators of the orphanage, missionaries from Pennsylvania, USA, were operating shut down in 2013 for sub-standard conditions.

The building, according to Magistrate Raymonde Jean Antoine, housed about 66 children and had not been authorized to operate as an orphanage since 2013. Two children died in the blaze and 13 others died at a hospital as a result of smoke inhalation, said Judge Antoine.

Rose-Marie Louis, a staff worker at the Orphanage of the Church of Bible Understanding, surveys the charred children's home in Kenscoff, on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on Friday. A fire swept through this orphanage run by a Pennsylvania-based church, killing over a dozen children, according to health care workers.

"All the goods were destroyed."
According to one of the children, the fire was ignited by candles that the children had lit in their rooms because the electricity was out, she told AFP.

The magistrate said the two-story building was in a state of complete disrepair, with bunk beds -- some in deplorable condition -- crammed into small rooms, a cramped staircase and only one usable exit door, an AFP reporter saw.

"The children's living conditions are truly, truly neglected: all we see are children living like animals," Antoine said, adding that there were no fire extinguishers to be found.

The squalid orphanage was UNLICENSED and operated by a Pennsylvania based NGO, Church of Bible Understanding, founded by late millionaire evangelical cult leader Stewart Trail.

The NGO generates nearly $7 million per year.

Pennsylvania NGO was operating the orphanage.
Only three adults were present at the time of the fire. An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire and identify the people responsible for the orphanage.

Early reports suggest the church is operated by a group of evangelicals from Allentown, Pennsylvania. The Church of Bible Understanding was investigated for running the sub-standard orphanage back in 2013.

The group has been accused of being a cult, and it has been estimated that its founder Stewart Traill has became a millionaire from operating it.

In 1983 Traill's church was accused it of enticing 17 youth out of a shelter with promises of salvation, and a New York State court enjoined them from housing or transporting youth under age 18 without parental permission.
