Patrick Alcindor, 41, pleaded not guilty in Manhattan Supreme Court to grand larceny for scam that started in April 2009 and ended with his arrested om  March 2010.

He is accused of paying Medicaid clients cash for prescriptions, often for expensive HIV drugs, and then bilking the system by claiming he'd filled the orders.

While Alcindor, then the supervising pharmacist at Procare Pharmacy, also billed for refills, he never had the pills in stock, officials claimed.

Alcindor's defense lawyer Steven Kartagener denied the charges - and said that investigators exaggerated the level of theft.

None of the clients who sold their prescriptions were charged, officials said.

Alcindor, of Brooklyn, worked at the Procare at 1728 Amsterdam Ave. He is out on $100,000 bond.
